I call this a neighborhood gem because we love having a good steak but do not want to drive to the city to have it. We are so glad this restaurant is close by and that they have high standards of food and service in place. We were celebrating my husband's birthday and he could not have been happier. We have been there four times at least and it is consistently good. The restaurant was full and busy so our food was a bit delayed but cooked to perfection and to make up for it they offered us after dinner drinks at the end of the meal which were appreciated. Once again, a great steak dinner.

Food: just okay. Wine list: uninspired. Chopped salad was a huge pile of diced cucumber, carrot, onion, celery, no discernible dressing, and 5 bits of bacon. A very nice filet was served with a bottle of steak sauce in a plain bottle, and a side of oily spinach. Service was sporadic -- when was the last time anyone needed to beg for water and was then handed a dish of butter? -- but nice and knowledgeable. When our dishes were cleared, we were handed the check, so no dessert for us! In all, a weird experience and not one I care to pay for again.

Went on a very rainy Monday night after 2 weeks of Restaurant Week so we practically had the place to ourselves when we arrived at 5PM. Few more tables filled up before we finished.. My husband had fish and I had beef; sides of fried onions and Mac and Cheese. Sides should be shared although left over Mac and Cheese was great! The staff were warm and friendly. Fish and meat were great, Although this is one of a chain of restaurants in it did not feel that way and we will go back on a quiet weekday evening....really enjoyed ourselves.

From our welcome at the front door, to the appetizers, main course, dessert, coffee, everything was great. Party of 8, we went for HVRW. Filet mignon melted in mouth. Calamari was succulent. Cheese cake was fresh and tasty. Will be back soon.

My husband and I went during Restaurant Week and we each had a wonderful filet mignon dinner, appetizer, two side dishes family style and full size dessert. The wine selection was very nice, ranging from moderately priced to expensive - but all good vineyards. Service was terrific. The waiters were very professional and experienced. Nice bar area, very friendly. The tables in the restaurant are also placed far enough from another so it's perfect for a romantic dinner or a fun dinner with friends. We will be back.

We went on a Saturday night for Hudson Valley Restaurant week. The restaurants was over booked so there were people at the bar standing all around our table. Our order for the appetizer was wrong and the waiter was there is only one word for it horrible. The food was average for a high priced steakhouse.

We were a group of 6 in for restaurant week. Initially we were greeted and the service was great. Things went downhill quickly. Our initial waiter disappeared and the service was disjointed after that. We were never offered coffee with our dessert and were then given the wrong check. It took my husband getting up and bringing it to the bar to get resolved as no one we attempted to flag down stopped. The food was very good-but very small portions of "family style " potatoes and spinach were disappointing. We eat out as a group every Saturday we can but I don't think we'll be going back to Blackstone's.

My husband and I enjoyed a great Restaurant Week meal at Blackstone's Steakhouse. The R.W. week special menu was limited but just what we were looking for for a classic steakhouse meal: I had the tangy French onion soup to start; he had the fried calamari; we both had the filet mignon, with nice-sounding chicken and salmon dishes being the other choices. (If you get the steak, make sure to ask for a bottle of the sweet homemade Blackstone's steak sauce.) For sides, we shared the delicious creamed spinach (nutmeg!) and generous mashed potatoes, finishing with New York cheesecake and chocolate mousse. It was our first time at Blackstone's and we were impressed with both the courtly gentlemen who served us and the quality of the food & wine.

Me and my girlfriend of 5 years wanted to do a really romantic dinner that was way out of our norm. We did have excellent food but the service was disappointing. I don't know if it was because we were the youngest ones there or what but we were sitting for about 35 minutes before we even got our menus. Then when we ordered our drinks, our waiter would walk over to other tables talk and help them to their drinks before getting our drinks. We just felt very disrespected

Blackstone's is a welcome addition to the Mt. Kisco dining scene. While a bit pricey, it is wonderful to have a decent steakhouse in the area. It is right up there with Morton's, Willet House, etc. and thankfully, one doesn't have to drive far to get a really fine steak or chop.

We visit Blackstones frequently, and were pleased to see the place full on this evening (patrons were waiting at the bar to be seated). We both had the lump crabmeat cocktail and shared a Porterhouse steak for two. The steak, as always, was perfectly cooked, and delicious. What a fantastic flavor! The creamed spinach had a pinch of nutmeg in it-sublime. A nice bottle of Joseph Phelps cabernet was meticulously decanted, and our glasses were never empty. If you haven't tried Blackstones, you are missing out on a great dining experience.

We hadn't been to Blackstones in many weeks, so we decided to pay them a visit this past Saturday evening. By 7:30 p.m., the restaurant had filled up nicely. We're happy to see that the word about this place has finally gotten out. My wife's dover sole was very good, my New York strip, outstanding, as usual. The staff were concerned about our extended absence-we had been away on a vacation, and they were extra attentive. We are so delighted to have a steak house of this quality so nearby.

The place is a little outdated and dank, tile floors throughout, and a prominent mirrored bar, but the steak was excellent. It is expensive, and the service was very slow as they only had two people taking orders, bussing and tending bar! Overall though, when we got over the waiting for food and drinks, the food was great and the servers were trying their best. I'd go again for the steak, that part was excellent.

What a great addition to my go to places. I've been driving to the city anytime I craved a good steak. This was my second time at Blackstones and it was absolutely outstanding! The fresh blue point oysters are to die for, shrimp was a great way to open up my way for one of the better porter house stakes I've had in a very long time. This place surprised me how good it is! The wine list is outstanding with some brilliant options including my favorite stags leap Cabernet! The complementary desert for my wife's birthday was a great touch! Will be back with everyone we know.

Working in NYC for many years I became spoiled by the availability of the classic NY steakhouse. A place to meet friends for a delicious glass of wine or martini after work. After unwinding we were always guaranteed a delicious meal. Blackstones is exactly that restaurant right In our back yard. The ambience is rich and soothing with classic wood decor. The service is friendly and accommodating. The best part of course is the food! They offer amazing specials. The classic seafood tower and impeccably cooked porterhouse is my personal favorite. A great choice for spending quality time with family and friends while being served quality food! Last but not least the host is just lovely and always accommodating.

We are Blackstones regulars. We dined on a rainy Friday evening, and I wish the place would have been busier. They deserve the business. The Porterhouse for two was excellent-perfectly cooked to order-and melt in your mouth tender. They deliver this quality consistently-BTW, the best steak joints in Manhattan have a hard time keeping to this standard of performance. And they are pricier, much pricier. We ordered a nice Cabernet, they decanted it carefully, and the glasses were always full. I am telling you-this crew is first class. We'll be back, again and again.

I was really pleased to see the restaurant full of patrons. It's about time. Blackstones has been reliably producing first class steakhouse dining experiences since it opened in Mt. Kisco, and we are dedicated regular customers. The Porterhouse for two was perfectly cooked, and melted in my mouth before I could chew it. The creamed spinach had a delightful hint of nutmeg-wonderful. The wine list is short, but well suited for the menu. We'll be back again and again. Not only was our meal absolutely delicious (the clam appetizer was beyond amazing), but our group of 4 had 2 who were observing Passover. What a wonderful and considerate touch to have provided matzah on the table (without even having to ask). Touches like that do not go unnoticed and we were very appreciative. Our steaks were cooked to perfection, the sides were great and the dessert we shared was perfect. Service was perfect as well - food was served politely, unobtrusively and timely. Then, when we thought our meal couldn't have gotten any better, the manager sent a round of after dinner drinks to our table! A fabulous night - we will be back for sure!
