Sat outside. Beautiful scenery outside, very relaxing. They started off by giving us home made chips. They were great! Then we ordered muscles and crab cakes for appetizers. The muscles were ok. I prefer my muscles in a wine sauce. they came dry. still good though. The crab cakes were FANTASTIC!! best I had ever had! For the meals, my mother had the penne pasta with chicken. She couldn't stop talking about it. My wife had the salmon. She said it was really good. I had the New York Strip Steak. Dissapointed. nopthing special. no seasonings. I ordered it medium. came out medium rare. Mashed potatoes were very good though. We split the crab cakes - moist, meaty and delicious.
We had the halibut special and the pork shank - the shank was a lot of food and very good.
I wouild come back again.

Overall, food is good and appreciate the attempts at keeping prices reasonable. Although, do believe certain entrees(ie: steak)should include a side dish such as vegetables, baked potatoe, etc without having to pay extra. We were all impressed that the menu offered so much variety - almost any kind of food you could want was on the menu. We all had different entrees - and all were professed outstanding - the macaroni and cheese, the hamburger (delicious!), the trout, the Cobb salad and my chicken were all great. And the service was also outstanding - very nice wait people, and very efficient, and very, very pleasant to work with. Both were very good! Service was a bit spotty on Friday night and I was not shown a wine menu but saw nice bottles on display that were not listed on the menu. The food item I felt was not done well was the onion rings. The waiter recommneded them because they were made in house. The batter did not stick to the rings because the chef did not prepare the onion to take the batter. Onions must be dry and dredged in flour.
