"Our experience at the Blackfish was good as usual. The food is biased toward seafood which in the northwest can be a good thing. It has some unusual fair (as far as how the fish is prepared). The portions were large and the service good."

"The restaurant seems a little more sound absorbing now with the new glassed cook area. Still very inviting to sit close to the glass but not warm from the fire as before, same effect of the fire blazing up as they stoke the fire to smoke the salmon.
Great place and friendly people."

"The Blackfish tends to be very noisy and hard to have a conversation with dinning companions. I made reservations a few days in advance, but still had to wait approximately 15 minutes to be seated. The food was not that good especially for the price. Service was poor and had to ask for the bread basket that is typically served before the meal and had to ask for drinks as well."
