Black Hat Cattle Co.Belated Birthday & Career ChangeWe arrived 10 minutes late for our reservation and was not a problem since it was a Wednesday evening.
Choice of tables to be seated at. Our Waiter was kind, cordial and prompt.
The food was excellent and the portions of sides were quite gracious given the skimping you see no days.
Was at this place years ago when it was Tivoli Deer. The new style and menu seems to fit right in.

The ambiance is western casual and unpretentious. It is also one of the cleanest restaurants we have seen. As with our previous visits, our server was very helpful, personable and efficient. We found the steaks and side dishes to be of higher quality than similar fare we have tried at some of the more expensive restaurants in the metro area. We would recommend The Black Hat Cattle Company to anyone who loves a good steak and a good value.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMPleasant DiningWe reserved a table for Mother's Day. The restaurant called us back with the reservation confirmation as well as E Mail notification. Since we never had dined at the restaurant we did not know the lay out. After arriving we've decided to dine outside in the early afternoon . The waitress was exceptional and helped with every need. The food was outstanding and the dining experience was Exceptional. The view of the mountains on this wonderful afternoon capped our dining experience nicely. If you are out and about to experience nice dining in a relaxed environment the black hat cattle company is an excellent place to go. The service was excellent and hospitable. The atmosphere was fun and relaxed. I especially liked the the old west memoribilia. Each of our group ordered something different and compared the steaks. We ordered the cowboy drumsticks any were absolutely outstanding, maybe the most tender rib eye I ever had. I expect a great meal for BHCC but this meal exceeded my already high expectations. Service at the BHCC is outstanding as well. I've never had to ask for a refill ( I drink water that's about it). The staff is extremely attentive. Join some friends at the bar and get to know the friendly bartender; great Happy Hour and she mixes a mean Cosmo. Wander around the restaurant and enjoy all of the beautiful art in many forms from paintings, sculptures and bronzes. Go to your table and enjoy a fine dining experience of anything on the menu, all of which will satisfy the most discerning palette. Finish with a delicious desert (all are heavenly) with coffee. My steak was wonderful, seasoned very well, and cooked perfectly. The rolls were delicious. Our waitress was so courteous and very attentive, which made the experience very enjoyable.
