  • "Our dinner exceeded our expectations. Our server was very friendly with a nice smile and quickly greeted us. He was a trainee and at times the spiel did get a bit tedious with the constant up selling with pricing but I guess that there are still diners who assume its free unless you remind them of the price. I ordered the NY strip with fries and my steak was a perfect medium, well seasoned and tasty. My husband ordered the sirloin which was also perfectly cooked with the loaded baked potato. We enjoyed the chocolate cake for dessert which was moist with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Our bill totaled $64 for two which we both agreed was a great value."

  • "I decided to dine here as a celebration for a promotion and was not quite satisfied with the outcome. I picked this place because of a dish I enjoyed a month or so back and checked online before we made the reservation to see if the item was still on the menu and it was only to arrive and find it not to be. The steak I then ordered looked quite a bit smaller than the ounces I had ordered. One person in our party ordered a steak medium and it was delivered almost completely rare and still cool in the center. Our waitress was wonderful I wish I could remember her name but she was very kind. The food just left something to be desired. "

  • "This is one of our favorite spots. We love the atmosphere and the service. The only complaint we have is that for a steak house, there steak is not good. We both ordered a filet mignon and I'm sure that's not what we got. It was tough. We continue to go there because we like the place, but we've yet to get a decent steak. Been going there for several years and yet to get a good steak!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

  • "Our overall dining experience was fine. Our servers were all great, and the appetizers were good. But I had to admit, I was a little disappointed with all 4 Prime Rib Dinners our family ordered. The Prime Rib was very chewy. It was almost like a Round Roast Beef cut rather than a prime cut. We had Prime Ribs at other Black Angus, and the knife would slice through as it was going through butter. But this time it took me a while to saw through the meat with my knife. I got my workout just trying to cut this particular meat. Maybe it was just this particular Black Angus with the chewy Prime rib. Or the chefs were more focused on the Thanksgiving Dinner, instead?"

It took too long to get drinks refilled and in general the server did not really check up on us more than once. The food was for the most part very good but my son got a baked potato that was black inside. Brought to the attention of the server but no one followed up. The server offered to get him another potato but he was already well through his meal (see the comment on service above). There seemed to be an issue with the coupons that I hadn't experienced before. We were a party of six with one birthday. Wanted to use a birthday coupon for a free dinner & Campfire feast discount...contd below...."

  • "Open table on line was great. We were greated by host and manager with smiles and seated immediately. Took waitress 5 minutes to come by for drink order. Another 10 to deliver. We were not ready to order yet but still she did not come back for 15 minutes and still no bread( i had 2 young girls with me). It was just her lack of service. Then quit pleasant and smiling when she dropped the bill off."

  • "First time reviewing a restaurant meal. The lobster was tough, dry, and rubbery. The ribeye steak was very thin, and a horrible cut of beef for the price charged. Staring at both meals as they were delivered and tasted resulted in my wife and I looking at each other, discussing our disappointment. The server was bumbling along and had a hard time speaking, though you could tell she knew the menu - she just had a hard time with her delivery. One of the buss boys even tried to take my plate while I was actively eating from it. He was obviously inexperienced. It was an overall disappointing meal on a special occasion. We couldn't help but feeling like we just wasted hard-earned money on a meal and special occasion that we couldn't 'undo'."

  • "We were greeted by Kylie the Hostess who was super friendly and welcoming. After being seated, Valerie our Server came right up and her service was great. She constantly checked on us refilling our drinks and asking if we needed anything. The Manager came over and checked on us as well asking if we were enjoying our meal. We love this location, as it has a great location, the food is very good, and the staff is excellent. We hightly recommend this restaurant. A bonus is the booths around the tables. It's great for quiet and you don't hear others talking. If you want a good steak meal, go to this location."

  • "We booked our reservation online while waiting in line for a movie. We showed up on time and we're seated immediately at 730pm. Our waitress was extremely knowledgeable and had our best interests in mind. She "gifted" us a coupon toads a dinner for 2 for $39.99. Our food was prepared perfectly, our sides were nothing but excellent, and our drinks were cold and refreshing. This restaurant wasn't that busy, or we missed the dinner rush. Food was rushed to us within 15 minutes of ordering; soon after our appetizer was finished. Note, beers are a bit expensive. Check pricing before you order to avoid sticker shock. Our dining experience was very pleasant. Neither my wife or I have been to black Angus before. It was excellent!"

  • "A chain steak house. I don't eat steak, but my partner does and she thinks its fine. For the non meat eaters, you have your choice of lobster( overpriced and frozen), shrimp or chicken. We only eat here when we have a coupon( 10.00 off 40.00) because I thinks its way too expensive otherwise. I don't like how they constantly try to upsell you on EVERYTHING. They are relentless in it too. From appetizers to booze to dessert, it verges on ridiculous."

  • "our waitress was very nice and friendly...was always on point and when needed was there for our needs...good food and good prices for Valencia,ca area...the only complaint I have clled to find the location as was not used to the general area..and the girl who answered to phone could not give directions to this location could only say it was by the very large fountain on the corner...she could have said next to the olive garden that was visible from the street...did not know north south east or west directions or any of the streets in the area to guide us in..."

This visit was excellent, the steaks were just right and the waitress was patient with my young niece's likes and dislikes when ordering our food. Parking can be an issue sometimes in this shopping center, but it's worth the effort."
