  • "I would recommend Black Angus because they really made our dining experience memorable. It was my daughters 18th birthday celebration and the staff truly made her feel special."

  • "With a recent change in the manager, this restaurant has greatly improved with its food and service. Our steaks and salmon were cooked just right, and the sides were also very good. Our server, Courtney, was friendly and made sure our beverage glasses were well filled."

  • "It was not as good as we remember. The food was burned and it took a long time for us to get our food served. We don't know if it was because it was a holiday and you didn't have a full crude or what? I got stomach ache and trouble sleeping"

  • "Family from 4 states gathered for mom/grandma's birthday. Our group of 10 was seated in a large but cozy booth. Sean, our waiter, was awesome! Spoiling grandma, getting all our orders, graciously taking pictures and providing a dessert and singing to finish off our great experience. Great food and so many choices to please everyone."

  • "We had our reservation booked at 7:30pm and we arrived early at 7:05pm. I notified the greeter when we arrived. She told me that we'll have our table ready at 7:30pm, not earlier. I do understand that since there were a lot of people waiting (drop in and some with reservation), they cannot provide us the table even we arrived earlier than the appointment. We waited unitl 7:25pm and I approached the girl again to make sure that she knew our presence. We had to wait until 7:43pm to get seated. There were more than 10 tables called in before us. I just don't understand what's the point of reservation."

  • "Waitress doesn't smile. Went there to celebrate a birthday. No singing to the b-day boy. No b-day dessert for the b-day person."

  • "The food was ok, my husband and I both ordered the same steak but it came out completely different. It wasn't bad but not the greatest steak. The portions were huge and the cheesecake was good."

  • "A good value. 10 minute wait beyond scheduled reservation. A lot of food for the money. Entree and dessert courses were slow in coming. Waiters were friendly, attentive and apologetic for the time between courses. Steak, appetizer and dessert were OK. Chicken and ribs were dry. Love the complimentary bread. Used a coupon. Ambience was good."

  • "Whenever I get a hankering for Prime Rib (rare), usually around my birthday, I get a coupon for 2 & head for Black Angus. It rarely disappoints! There were actually 4 of us. We also used a coupon for steak & shrimp (the shrimp going to someone who only ordered a salad). As a side I ordered the scalloped potatoes - be warned they have a bit of a "kick" - but it isn't too much. And the Caesar salad was quite nice with shaved Parmesan! The wait staff (multiple) were attentive without hovering. When I questioned the amount of rareness in the prime rib, they brought me a piece to try!! I could only eat half of my free birthday chocolate chip cookie with ice cream - though my husband helped to finish it! We'll certainly be back."

  • "I hadn't been to a Black Angus in about 4 years and was pleasantly surprised. My husband had steak and lobster and I had lamb chops and both dinners were fantastic. The service was slightly slow but our server was so nice that we didn't mind at all. I would recommend Black Angus to anyone who wants a great meal."

  • "We eat here a few times a year - the food is relatively consistent, but the service was very, very slow this last visit. It took nearly an hour before the entrees came and even for dessert the delay was felt. Aside from the long delays we had no issues."

  • "I made the reservation early dinner for 4 at 4:45 pm on Friday, 6-20-14. Waiting time to be seated was short (about 6 minutes). The hostess was pleasant and courteous. The wait staff, Jessica, was very attentive and the food was excellent. I used the Camp Fire coupon for my party and I think the food is worth the price. The grilled king salmon was perfectly cooked; the top sirloin and prime rib were perfectly done the way they were ordered; the garden salad was fresh and elegantly arranged. The only thing they need to fix is the steak soup. It was too salty for me and I was tempted to order some hot water to tone it down a bit. This is my favorite place and I will definitely come back again for the great food and great service."

  • "Steaks are generally good; plenty of food. Calories included in the offerings give dieters a scare! Waiter was friendly but seemed stressed and perhaps over his head trying to deal with the number of tables he was assigned. Overall, a good place to go if you want steak and copious amounts of food."

  • "Service was mediocre. Order prime tub medium rare and received rare and a very snapped portion. Doubt it was 8 oz. disappointed not what it used to be at all. "

  • "Although this is not our first time dine at this restaurant, it is always pleasant to be here. We were greeted by friendly staffs. Did not wait too long and were seated at a good and quiet booth as we requested for. Waiter was courteous and service was prompt. Foods are sumptuous. Sampler plate is plenty. Salads are prepared chilled and fresh. Soup is hot and tasty. Main course is cooked just right. Desert is very tempting. Good foods and enjoyable dinner. "

  • "Black Angus is my favorite restaurant. I enjoy the cowboy ambience, the spaciousness and privacy of the seating with high backs protecting ones quiet. The food is always dependably excellent, the service is always very good and sometimes outstanding. The Garlic Zucchini starter is a big favorite, the Big Mtn Fudge cake is to die for. In between, Steaks and Prime Rib live up to their reputation, and their occasional specials are favorites. I love the rack of Lamb and the Turkey & Dressing. I also appreciate their chef's layering of flavors in certain items, for instance the Chicken, Avocado, Bacon sandwich! It's one of just a few places I can recommend to friends without hesitation, knowing they will be pleased, no matter what they order."

  • "We ordered the R R Up I received a New York Strip steak that was maybe two inches wide and a third of that was a strip of fat running the length of the steak. I brought this to the attention of the waitress and then manager, I was told that I could get another steak for a somewhat discounted price, since I was not interested in paying for another steak, I asked for and received another caesar salad. I had delivered a Birthday Cake to the kitchen in the care of the same manager when we arrived and asked that it be brought out when we requested it. I requested that the waitress bring the cake to the table after the meal, and requested it again almost 30 minutes later. All told it took 40 minutes or more to have the cake brought to the table. "

  • "My only complaint is that free standing tables and chairs are only in the bar. I am handicapped and have trouble getting in and out of a booth. the bar is not my ideal choice of a place to eat. Our waitress was great."

  • "One of our regular BBQ/steak places with mixed results this time. Service was mediocre which was surprising with not many present during the week. Bar at Happy Hour was quiet with poor service. Food appeared to be over cooked (burnt appetizer platter items) and too salty."

  • "As frequent visitors, my wife and I always enjoy the food and drinks in a quiet and enjoyable environment. The service is almost always wonderful... The server is cheerful, prompt and helpful. We have and will continue to recommend Black Angus to all."

  • "My 88 year old Mom who can be finicky really liked eating here. Her prime rib was good, as was the Caesar salad and it was a special night with low price and free mud pie dessert. My Steak cobb salad was delicious. All in all a good evening. It was quiet enough so we could hear each other talk....and that is a plus with older folks. We were far away from the happening bar...which has a different ambiance entirely."

  • "Based on ratings, I thought this was going to be great. If you want a low end experience, then this place is for you. My server was great, just wasn't looking for cheap food. "

  • "The evening before Mother's Day, Black Angus was packed! Even though we had a reservation, we waited 30 minutes to be seated. And feeling the crush of the waiting crowd, a waiter came through with zucchini appetizer for those who wished to partake, which we thought was a nice touch. After being seated in the bar area, we were pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was. Service was a little slow and we had a glitch with our drink order, but the meal was exceptional overall. And considering the seemingly longer wait between courses - our meals arrived hot and our filet each cooked to perfection. Well worth the wait!"

  • "The food is good, but service is bad. They delivered the sidekicks for wrong which confused us a lot. A professonal steakhouse should never make that kind of mistake. "
    Dined on 5/11/2014
  • "Food was terrible. Service was just ok. Had to wait for the bread for 20 min. Salad and fork were freezing cold (coming out directly from the fridge) and didn't taste good at all. Very disappointed when you see the final bill. Not worth your money at all. "

  • "Me and my wife loved the service and the rib eyed steaks were the best we have had in a long time! Highly recommend Black Angus"

  • "We had Mother's Day dinner one day early to beat the rush; however others have caught on to this secret. The hostess waiting area was packed with over 30 people waiting to be seated. We had reservations at 6 pm and were seated at 6:10. Our server was extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating to our two small children. Our food came out to our table incredibly fast, and was PERFECT. Our steaks were cooked perfectly, like we ordered and the Cowboy Cookie was delightful. We cannot wait to go back next year and make Black Angus our annual Mother's Day tradition. "

  • "If you know why you are there, you'll be happy. This place is the place to go if you need the hot beef injection; a slab of good quality, cooked to order, steak of heroic size (or not so heroic, if you want) accompanied by some delicious sides. Want an artisan cocktail? Yeah, no... wrong place. Want a G&T or a Very Large Beer? Pours tend to be doubles. Want a reduction of rare 25 year port wine with alpine blueberries on your steak? No, really, you don't. Get the grilled mushrooms and onions. A good steak at a reasonable price with excellent non-pretentious drinks where you can go totally Fred Flinstone if you want, and nobody will bat an eye. And you'll still have $$$ leftover for the monthly mortgage check. Sign me up!!"

  • "We often go to Black Angus for the filet mignons, the great service and the nice atmosphere, and on this occasion, we got exactly what we hoped for!"
    Dined on 5/1/2014
  • "The food was generally pretty tasty we got a variety of dishes among the 7 of us and all except one was satisfactory. This was the grilled artichoke which we have had a number of times and it has been great. This time it was over 'buttered' or oiled or whatever they put on it after the grill it was just a puddle of oil. What a shame. The service was the biggest pitfall as the waitress rolled her eyes at every order and never asked if we wanted more water..."

  • "We reserved a day in advance for a "quiet table for five." Apparently the Open Table reservation did not get through properly. When we arrived we were initially seated next to a blaring TV in the bar not even in the main dining room. This was a solemn occasion following a funeral and we were not inclined to join the festivities in the bar at happy hour. I went back to the lady who seated us and she said she would reseat us after the other people ahead (who were walk ins) were seated. I complained to the manager who was able to rescue the situation and moved us immediately to the main room of Black Angus .... and thus saved the occasion from disaster. The meal was very good and the waitress was professional. "
