However this was the first time I have ever waited for 25+ minutes standing shoulder to shoulder with as many people as a lobby can fit after making reservations...at any restaurant for that matter. Some people were becoming visibly upset and it appeared that they (hostess/management) were not even honoring the call ahead seating folks that came in because they were so far behind. As usual, the food and wait staff were excellent but in my humble opinion Black Angus booked too many reservations for this Valentine's Day."

  • "Pretty disappointed in the reservation system. I had a reservation for 2 at 730 and it took roughly 30 minutes to be seated. There were two hosts at the counter when you walk in and it took them a few minutes to even acknowledge me. I almost walked out the door based on this alone. Had I known 30 minutes to seat me even with the reservation I would have gone elsewhere. Table service was average, similar to what you'd get at an ihop or diner. Food was decent tasting, but smaller portions. Desert was great."

We came back because the server told us last time we ate there and inquired about a corkage fee, that there was no fee if you bring in Washington wines purchased within the last 24 hours and have the purchase receipt. So, we brought our own wine to enjoy and had the same server that told us this best kept secret about the corkage fee. Granted, it was very busy and 3 of our 5 people ordered the Roasted Halibut special. Unfortunately all three of us agreed it was way too dry. The veggies and rice were good. The 2 other diners had steaks but not impressed either. Maybe they were too busy, we'll try again!"

We ordered soup/ salad which were both flavorful. When main course arrived the food was hot and prepared as ordered. My steak was very tender and flavorful. Just the right amount of seasoning, but the fresh green beans were over seasoned much too salty. The dessert came and was fantastic!! Order the white chocolate raspberry cheesecake!! Overall we had a delicious meal and a wonderful time!!"

We made a reservation for 5:30pm and arrived at the restaurant around 5:20 to find a huge crowd of people waiting to be seated. We were informed upon check in that we should expect to wait about 15-20 minutes. In actuality, we had to wait 50 minutes past our reservation time to be seated. To make matters worse, when we asked the manager if it was always this busy on Thanksgiving, he informed us that it was. It was quite frustrating to hear that they continue to overbook on holidays. Our food was excellent as usual, but beware holidays crowds, even with a reservation."

We had just a short seven minute wait before we were seated. Service was prompt and the food was up to the usual Black Angus standard for taste and quality. We left with some left-overs and pleasantly full stomachs. This may become an annual event for us."

  • "We had a party of 7 when we got there are table was ready for us we were seated quickly and we waited for about 15 mins for someone to take our order we placed are order and drinks we were told she would bring drinks and bread the drinks came 10 mins later and the bread came 15 mins after that are food arrived 15 mins after that the place was not that busy when we got are food my daughter's chicken tender was over cooked and I was missing food from my plate when we were done eating are table was cleared and it took them another 15 mins to get the bill and another 10 mins to get our Change over all we were there almost 2 and a half hours for a slow as it was service was way to long"
