  • "A few months ago I had signed up for the Black Angus Prime Club. Soon after that I forgot I had even visited the website. Two weeks before my birthday, I received a surprise in my inbox: a coupon for a FREE steak dinner! WOW!! I called in reservations for four and invited some friends to go with my wife and me. What a great time and what a wonderful meal. At the end of the meal the server surprised us with a huge birthday chocolate chip cookie, fresh from the oven, served ala mode with candle and a singing group of servers. Memorable. We will be back. ...FOR SURE... Making our reservations through OpenTable made the experience easy as pie. I wish all restaurants were connected to the OpenTable reservation system."

We will come back again but this was the second time my chicken strips have not been cooked through. The other time was several years ago. My steak however, as always , was superior to any other restaurant in the area."

  • "Made reservations online for Black Angus for the day after Valentines day , Feb 15th, at 6:30 PM. Bad mistake because the place was "loaded" with people stacked all over the place, waiting for tables. Best guess would be 75+ people waiting all around the front - inside - outside. Absolutely no where too sit to wait comfortably. Note to self: DO NOT go the Saturday after Valentines day. Waited 35 minutes to be seated. Waitress was very nice and at tentative to us. The kitchen however must have been maxed out. we ordered all of our items at one time. appetizer took 20 minutes. Main meal took almost 1 hour from time of seating. A lot of time spent just sitting and waiting for food. My 16 oz ribeye was perfect for me. My wifes was not tender."

  • "I had a reservation at 8:45 but was sited until one Hour later , the place was over pack with walk in that the restaurant was trying to a commanders faster than those with reservations , we finally got a table at 9:25( this with reservations ) and when we get there the table is not ready . It still needed to be clean , our waiter was very busy and hardly stopped by our table. Overall it was not a pleasant experience , I will never go back the place is old an it has a dirty feeling to be there .."

Placed my order and it included a salad, I received the main dish and no salad when I asked why? she said "the kitchen is really fast tonight" and asked if I still want it it. No I didn't want my steak to get cold, also ordered mushrooms on my steak and they were missing. I order a beer and specifically asked to be very cold and a cold glass. The glass was room temperature and the beer luke warm. I don't think they listen to what you ask. I spent $90.00 in a meal for 2, the food tasted really good but the overall experience was not there, this isn't a fast food place and I expected better attention to details."

  • "Black Angus has been around for quite some time and I have to say that I've never had a bad meal (specifically beef, which is what they are known for)there! I must admit that I don't feel this chain is anything special, but has good food at decent prices. We frequent this location (San Bernardino) about 5 to 6 times a year, (when visiting my mother in law) and we have always been satisfied. The service on this visit was good, our server not friendly, but efficient. I'm sure we will be visiting again soon."

Fairly fast service, a little slow on drink refills (still charged for refill even though it took about an hour to get refilled) never got another loaf of bread. It was very busy though, so I understand. Food that we received was delicious, although steak overdone. most disappointing part of dining experience was all the food that restaurant ran out of..baked potatoes..cranberries & my mom little stuffing. Not a very great Thanksgiving dinner without all the food that makes a thanksgiving great. will continue coming to this restaurant, but not on Holidays."

  • "Chose this Restaurant for our Holiday meal with Family realizing that we were on a Holiday and the Restaurant would be busy so made our reservations well in advance. Having never had a bad meal at our San Diego Black Angus, holiday or not, we were comfortable with our San Bernardino selection which was where our elderly family members live. The two of us that selected the Filet Mignon Dinner were served a steak full of gristle in both steaks. We suspect that we were served a lesser cut of meat than a Filet. We told our waitress who offered to take them back but by then the seniors in our party (two of which were in mid 80's were ready to leave so we declined. We did pay for our lousy meals but were very disappointed in this Black Angus."

  • "We reserved a table for two for our Thanksgiving dinner. We arrived early, sat in the bar (which was fairly empty) and got our table right on time. The service staff in every area were outstanding! Our dinner was the Thanksgiving special with dessert included. Our only complaint was the the food being luke warm. It would have been a perfect experience but for that. They were packed with people so I understand the problem, but it was disappointing. Not that we didn't eat too much anyway! Great service had us walking away with a smile."

  • "I had my first Black Angus Thanksgiving when I lived in Las Vegas. Unfortunatly those restaurants closed. I moved to Loma Linda and was happy to find one five minutes from my new home. This past week my mother and I enjoyed a fine mean. The turkey was moist, the stuffing was delicious, and the best part was the baked sweet potato. I intend to make Black Angus my Thanksgivig venue. This is the second year in which we've went for thanksgiving dinner. It definitely won't be our last. I really did apprecate all the effort and service that our waiter gave to our table. That extra effort made our experience that much more enjoyable."
