  • "There were 6 of us. They accept reservations. We were on time. Their service was great. When we needed something someone was there shortly. Everything came as we ordered it. It is obvious that the staff is accustomed to waiting on groups who all talk at once. The food was to our liking. Nice salads - Tasty steaks - Yummy desserts. Who wants more than that. Nice basic food. You won't find oysters on the half-shell or French onion soup, but otherwise, it is good and certainly filling. They were not jam-packed as I have seen it other times. It was early - 5:30 PM. Good time to go."

  • "Getting together for lunch with friends we haven't seen in a while. Went for lunch last Sunday. The restaurant was practically empty which was GREAT for us! No noise, no rush, etc. Everything we ordered was great. My granddaughter is on a gluten-free diet and they offered several items which she enjoyed. We will definitely go back again."

Even with an Open Table reservation, we had a short wait (ten minutes) Even though it was a busy Saturday evening, our server was very attentive, checking on us regularly. Among the four of us we had two filet mignons, one New York strip and one ribeye. All were delicious and cooked to perfection! Second only to the steaks, was the stellar desserts. My Chocolate Fudge cake was the best I've had in years!! We will have to wait several years to go back so my pants will fit again! ;)"

  • "We got there at 7:15, our reservation time. We were told, you are checked in and it will be 10 minutes. 40 minutes later we were still waiting. The lobby was extremely crowded. At least 15-18 groups had left, but very few people had been called. I checked 3 times, and found our card on the bottom of the parties of 2. The manager kept thanking us for waiting. By the time we were seated, everyone we recognized from the lobby had been seated. Open Table Reservations didn't seem to give us ant kind of advantage at all. In fact, it might have hindered us. Others were complaining as well."

  • "Meal was OK but my wife's salmon was not very fresh (if you know how salmon should taste its obvious when it's not fresh). The bar flies (not people) were buzzing around our table the entire time, landing on dishes and in drinks. The service was slow (we sat down at 7 and did not leave until after 9pm) and the bar was too loud while waiting. Why do you need to have the sports commentary on so loud it is difficult to talk to anyone at the table? Most sports bars have the sound OFF. Why does the restaurant need to be like a sports bar anyway? They brought me the wrong cut of prime rib (asked for the 3/4 cut) and when they brought the new plate the cut was thicker but also smaller so I don't know if it was a 3/4 or just a thicker steak."

  • "Black Angus is extraordinarily consistent in their service and food. One of our sides was incorrect but the server immediately went to the kitchen and brought the correct side - in addition to the incorrect one. Drink service can be a little slow sometimes because the bar is always jumping."

The piece of steak was very small. Everything else beside the steak was fine, but my wife said the veg was over cook so it was soft."

  • "We had the Steak and Shrimp special and it was perfectly cooked. The meat was medium rare, as ordered, and the shrimp were just done - perfect! For 17 bucks you get two side dishes, as well. OK, so the steak is not filet, but is sure was tasty and prepared nicely. We had salads that were cold and crisp - excellent! We have dined here at least six times in the last few years and have come away very impressed each time. The kitchen does a fantastic job and the wait staff is very well trained and provides very good service. I highly recommend this spot for dinner when you don't want to drop a bundle for a meal."

  • "The restaurant is decorated to look like a rustic ranch house, on the casual side. The place was packed on a Saturday, and we had to wait 30 minutes past our reservation time. The steaks and salmon were perfectly cooked as ordered, and the sides were good as well. We enjoyed the mountain fudge cake for dessert. Our server was excellent and really added to the dining experience. On the negative side, parking is tight and the little bugs (fruit flies?) are still flying around."

  • "Service was great and so was the food. We weren't in a hurry, and the server didn't rush us. We started with the legendary bread, moved on to the fried zucchini, then, my friend and I shared a 6 oz. Filet Mignon, asparagus, salad, baked potato, and ice cream. We couldn't have been happier. I hadn't been to Black Angus in quite some time. I definitely won't wait long before coming back again!"

  • "We come here every so ofter, mainly for the bread and baked potato soup! My daughter wanted to come here for her birthday dinner. The food was good, normal Black Angus fare. But the gem of the night was our server, Ashley. She was spectacular! Always helpful and when I asked for a multitude of different things, she never once huffed or gave attitude. She did it with a smile and said no problem! I could go on with details, but I just want to say she was the best server we have had from anywhere in a very long time. Thank you, Ashley for helping to make this birthday dinner very special and memorable!"

  • "As usual with the restaurant, the greeters at the front, don't know what to do when they have more than 2 people standing in line. My wife and I arrived at 4:25 PM for our 4:30 reservation. With three employees standing at the desk, it took 5 minutes for them to great the two people in line that were in front of us. I even noticed that one of the employees left the area and went into the bar where her friend was seated. She ate some of the food and drank her drink that was at her friends table. Is this something to do when there is a line waiting? We were finally seated at 4:50PM. 20 minutes late."
