  • "Our first time at a Black Angus. We were seated promptly. Our server, Erin was friendly and attentive but not overbearing. Food quality was very good. I ordered an end cut prime rib which was juicy and tender. Husband ordered filet with the 3 oz lobster tail which was a perfect little extra. My pet peeve is when a salad comes out wet and theirs was perfect. We enjoyed our meal so much there was no room left for dessert. I did check the dessert menu and noticed there was only one non-chocolate option. As I have a chocolate allergy if I was inclined to have dessert I would have appreciated at least a couple options. Prices were very reasonable. Wish we had one of these restaurants in our area, we would be regulars!"

The food was very good for this price range and our server was very friendly and attentive. We will definitely eat at Black Angus more often especially being able to accrue miles and OpenTable points."

The staff we very attentive and the food selection was varied so anyone could find something great to eat. I recommend that you have a reservation. We did and were escorted directly to our table and our server greeted us within a minute. If you want a nice steak or some seafood, play out this restaurant."

  • "We were there Saturday night before the Lady Antebellum concert and the place was jam-packed and loud. We had reservations and still had to wait about 10-15 minutes for our table. The servers stand in the lobby and yell out your name when the table is ready--I usually hate the beeper idea, but it's at least a bit more dignified than hearing your name yelled at the top of some young person's lungs! Our server, Karen, was terrific. Energetic and friendly. Our steaks, especially my filet, were cooked to perfection, but very salty. Otherwise, the food was excellent."

Service was very inadequate as no one came back to the table to see if we wanted to order another cocktail. We ordered our dinners and 25 minutes later our salads came with the appetizer, then 5 minutes after that our dinners were served. We had them take our dinners back so we could finish our salads and appetizer. It seemed as though there weren't enough servers to give the service you would expect at a high quality steak house. All in all not a fantastic dining experience for a 60th birthday celebration."

  • "My mom and I ate there before seeing the Trans-Siberian Orchestra at Citizens Business Bank Arena. We sat in a booth in the bar area so that we could keep up with the score of the Laker game. The food was excellent as always, but the service was a little rushed. It seemed as though they were short a couple of servers in the bar area because the three that I noticed were running around constantly. I love Black Angus and would defenitely go back there again. The food is always consistant so I know that I am going to get what I expect."

  • "I went to Black Angus for Thanksgiving with my family. We wanted to make it an early dinner because of we all work in retail lol. I reserved a seating the day before, and we got in very quickly. We only had to wait 5 minutes. The waitress was very nice, helpful and made sure our drinks were filled and the food was prepared right. My only problem, not the restaurant's, was there was a screaming kid two booths down. We had to endure their screams for about twenty minutes into our service. Other than that, our experience was excellent and top notch!!!!!"

  • "I made a reservation online at Open Table, and was seated within 5 minutes, which was great. Since it was still early, the restaurant wasn't that busy, even on Thanksgiving night. This is why I felt the lack of service received was un-excusable. My food came and by then, I was still not given my utensils. I asked for it a few times but my waitress kept saying the busboy was supposed to bring it - my food was already cold and I still did not get even a single fork. Since I was seated near the back corner table, no other servers or busboys passed by so I couldn't ask anyone else. By the time I did received my utensils, my baby was already cranky and wanted to go home so I was unable to enjoy my food and just went home."

Just as good except in El Cajon, they had a carmel sause on the sweet potato which was so so good. The Ontario sweet p. was very good. The whole dinner was again awesomme. We will do this again. Our waitress was so good and she made us fell like family, dont remember her name, maybe Jacky or...."

Even with the amount of people, our food came fairly quickly. This restaurant is a newer store, well maintained, clean and has a nice large bar area. However, the service was exceptional as the drinks were always refilled and condiments were given and re-filled...never had to ask for anything. The burgers/sandwiches are definitely for the more economically-inclined. Bill for two didn't exceed $50 (tip included). Overall service and food was very reasonable for the price and I would definitely come back as I usually do every 2 months. Discount note: They're currently offering 15% off your bill if you purchase $75 in Black Angus Gift Cards...terms & conditions stated 15% disc would apply to bill of no more than 6 ppl."
