The waiter was attentive even thought he was quite busy. We had our chocolate cake desert to go and it was great. Overall, a good meal, great cake and good service."

Not enough to send it back, but it was slightly disappointing. Waitress needs a little wine-opening practice (remove the foil, don't just pull the cork through it; pull the cork in a single move and don't break it)."

If you like quick service this is not the location to go. Our server Kyle was very nice and friendly but dinner took us over 2 hours and the restaurant was not busy in the least."

  • "We picked this restaurant for a family birthday specifically because of the quiet booths which allow group conversation - a rarity in today's restaurants; however, that was the only thing particularly good here. Our advance reservation failed to reach the working staff, the beef was tough, the vegitables were underdone, the wine overpriced for poor quality, and the service spotty at best. But it was quiet. And the deserts were good."

We ordered the sampler plate appetizer came out quick it came out but the potato skins and chicken were barely warm. Also, I should have asked what kind of cheese they use for their grill cheese because if I had know they used chedar cheese instead of american, I would not have ordered it for my son, it was a glob of greesy cheese between two pieces of over-buttered bread. My son took one bite and ate no more of it. I didn't return any of the food because I just don't like to waste food or send food back. I hadn't been to a Black Angus in long time and it will be a while before we return."

I dine here frequent with my family and enjoyed my dinner. The waitress was very friendly and always came to check on us.   • "Two of my party ordered the Thanksgiving Special meal, and that left us wondering who was monitoring the food in the kitchen before the plates came out. One plate was piled high with many slices of turkey and a huge sweet potato, and the other plate had only a small pile of turkey pieces and the tiniest sweet potato I've ever seen - almost fingerling potato sized. It looked like a child's meal. The quantities should have been more even. Except for my medium rare prime rib being served medium well (and replaced relatively quickly), those of us who ordered the normal menu items were fine. We will eat there again, but not for special holiday meals."

The mashed potatos and pumpkin pie were amazing but everything else was sub par in flavor. I picked at my kid's chicken strips and fries. The chicken strips were bland. The noise wasnt too bad and the ambiance was nice. Tall backings to the booths make things more intimate."

  • "Great overall, especially our waiter Patrick Sean. We love the cozy booths and color scheme. We prefer this restaurant over BJ's or The Yardhouse any day. The food is just as good but the atmosphere and service are much better here. My only complaint is that I had called several days earlier to cancel an earlier reservation I had made for 1:30 only to come home to find an e-mail from OPEN TABLE saying that I had 'NO-SHOWED' and no longer have reservation priveledges. That does not make me happy."
