  • "The appetizer was great! We had the platter, we each had a salad and both had prime rib. The entree came before the salads , and the prime beef was about a 1/4 in and raw. We sent them back and got the salads which were not that great. The prime rib was still raw and very hard to cut. The cheesecake was good. So the best part of dinner was the appetizer. Will not go back."

  • "I watch for the coupon adds every weekend in the newspaper. The specials are great--delicious food, love that an appetizer and dessert are included, (We rarely spend money on either item, so it's a special treat), and the prices are very reasonable. The grandchildren like their available selections, but they also like to share the generous appetizers with us. There is plenty for all. I also like the huge selection of sides available--just about anything that you could think of. Thank you for serving asparagus during the spring season as well--one of my favorites."

  • "We booked a seating for 6:30 and arrived at 6:15, the couple behind us asked for a table for two, and immediately got sat; no huge deal as we did get sat at 6:30, but being told that reservations got priority was clearly a lie. We got the sampler app and the potato skins was burnt and clearly should not have been brought out to a customer. Once the prime rib came out it was clear that there was a problem. My wife ordered hers medium rare, it came out grey. In addition, the extra we paid for the Asparagus was way too much as it came out burnt and when my wife asked for a replacement she was told that it would be the same. Mine (supposed to be rare) was 1/2 grey (clearly had been sitting around). Will try again, but not a good impression."

  • "The waitress we had was very pushy she wanted us to get done and go she tried take my sisters plate and she wasn't even done with her food she went to the bathroom and the waitress want to box her food up and we had only been there about 30 minutes and that was counting waiting for our food."

  • "With reservations for a group of 14 at 6:30, a Birthday dinner for my wife, we had to wait 20-30 minutes. When seated, we were given 2 booths to accommodate our group as THE group table, was being used by another group, we were told, booked it the same time I made my reservation. We adapted as we were there to have a party and fun. Unfortunately that wasn't the only disappointment. When time to pay the bill, the coupon, presented at the beginning of the meal was not discounted. The manager, who made things right, made yet another error on the bill. This process took time & was awkward as my party guests were needing to leave & waiting for me Food and service was great. But we still overpaid on our bill."

Our waitress was so slow, the other half of our party was eating their appetizer and we hadn't even had ordered our dinner! Watching her was painful, we were there for more than 2 hours. I can't do it again."

  • "For a place that prides itself on steak, I found it sub par for the price. $25 for a 8oz filet that was one step below apple bees. When we got food, I could tell it'd been sitting out a while. Fortunately they messed up my order so I asked them to redo it. My whole party was finished eating by the time I got my meal. At least it wasn't cold. portions are incredibly small. Spend a little bit more and goto the keg or even apple bees really."

  • "Couldn't believe the waiting line, We arrived at 5:30 and the waiting line was up to 7:30 p.m. so it was good I went online and booked reservations as we were seated in a timely manner. The food was the best. Enjoyed every bit. We had my daughter, granddaughter and it is not often you can find a reservation where 3 generations loved all the food. Keep up the good work as we were there from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. and not once did we hear any complaints."

A funny moment happened when a couple tried to seat themselves (it was reservations only due to Cupid's Holiday) and the wait staff handled it smoothly, having them stand to the side, then take a bar table when it came open. My prime rib was excellent, though my wife's lobster was a touch overcooked and rubbery - but of course we ate it anyway (we always share). Lobster at other visits were cooked to perfection - I'll give them a mulligan since it was a madhouse. Desert was outstanding (chocolate cake)."

  • "Although I was only able to get a 4:45 P.M. time slot by reserving on-line early a day prior my friend got the 6:30 P.M. slot by calling the restaurant just a bit later that same day. Although it was disappointing we were puzzled and did re-schedule our theatre time to coordinate with the dinner time -- does the on-line and direst calls work off different table availability lists ? On the bright side: we had a delightful waiter that we may have missed at our preferred time. I took a chance following a prior bad experience and ordered prime rib -- once again it was full of gristle and "paper thin". The rest of the meal was very very good as was my date's meal. Black Angus? A definite YES YES Prime rib? Uh huh"

There was a small wait before we got our table but our appetizer and main course came pretty quickly. After the main course was served service slowed down significantly. Food was great though and I'll definitely go back to black angus the next time I want a steak but don't want to cook."
