I had the Filet Migon and the lobster tail. It was great! The attention of your entire staff was first rate. We often tell our relatives and neighbors about you and will continue to do so.   • "This was a good meal for a special occasion. We dined on the campfire feast and it was way too much food, but good leftovers. Good quiet place where you are not sitting right on top of other diners and feel like you have a bit of privacy. The only complaint I would have is the service. While it wasn't bad, it wasn't anything great either. For example, we received our salads, then about 10 minutes later, our appetizers. Kind of odd to not get the appetizer first, but again, we knew we were taking half the food home, so it didn't really matter to us. Overall a good special occasion place."

  • "We decided on Black Angus for Easter because we really didn't want a brunch at 2:00. We arrived and were seated immediately. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. She answered all our questions. We ordered a drink and were able to enjoy it while pondering the menu. The breaded zucchini was excellent ,The salad was crisp and fresh. We had a filet and prime rib and they were both cooked to perfection .WE took our wonderful dessert home to enjoy later. Our waitress suggested their new butter cake with ice cream and raspberry sauce and she was so right about it being so good. We had a very enjoyable dinner . The manager Tom came to our table to see how everything was and wish us a Happy Easter which was very nice. "

It's not the restaurants fault but we couldn't even hold a conversation between the two of us because of screaming, crying and out of control children at multiple tables. 7pm on a Friday, at a steak place...wouldn't expect the badly behaved children. Parents are to blame because they were too busy chatting with their friends and consuming many alcoholic drinks."

My dad commented several times how happy she is and even talked to her about it. Her response was perfect, just what he needed to hear, as he has depression issues. Great restaurant and atmosphere."

  • "This Black Angus Steakhouse has the BEST steak in all of Arizona. I had the filet butterfly-cut, well-done and it was so tender. My daughter had the New York steak, which was tender and both cuts of meat would melt in our mouth. So delicious!!! Their fried zucchini is to die for! Absolutely the best in town. The ambience is excellent and nice and quiet. Truly a place to take anyone to enjoy a outstanding meal."

Never checked back to see how the meal was, never brought more water or checked to see if more drinks were needed, never brought ketchup for fries, steak sauce, etc. He certainly was there when he brought the bill and picked up the tips. Not all servers are like this. Last time we were there we had exceptional service."

  • "Had a terrible experience at a restaurant on the SW corner from Blk Angus. The night before. Went to Black Angus the very next night because we had a craving for Steak and Lobster. I wish I could remember the servers name because she was fabulous. Her service was a complete opposite of what we experienced at the nameless restaurant just kiddie corner from Black Angus. (SW Corner) Drinks were served before the food, Bread was given ahead of time. Appetizers and salads were served before the main course. The main course was outstanding, served hot and with all the fix-ins. Waitress was attentive to our glasses before they emptied and added jokes to our quirky group. Time was approximately 6pm. You know who you are so Thank you much."

We were at a table by the hostess station so it was not the best place, cause we heard everything and it sounded like we were not the only people who had to wait. I would thin we would have gotten a better table with a reservation. The waitress was slow too. However,d the food was delicious and was worth the little inconvenience experienced."

  • "We had an early Valentine's Day dinner at Black Angus. Our server, Sarah, was wonderful. Took care of our needs & checked back regularly without being intrusive. We saw serveral families come in with children, but never heard a peep out of them. The steaks were very good -- & since I am from Nebraska (home of Omaha Steaks) I have high steak expectations. Dessert was chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream & hot fudge. I don't care for hot fudge, but my husband does so they served that on the side. We joked about his love of the hot fudge with Sarah & she brought him a 2 oz to go container with some when she brought the check. It was a lovely meal & I have no hesitation in recommending it."

Our server took care of that and gave us the special ...... The food was very good and the price was too. We will return to this site to book reservations, and we recommend that especially on a holiday or other busy times of the year, get a reservation, it's going to SAVE them a TON of time..."

  • "We have dined at BA for many years and have found the service to be excellent, however our experience at the Goodyear location was one of the worst service experiences we have ever encountered. Our waitress appeared overwhelmed, ignored our table. Long wait for order to be taken, long wait for meal, wrong order delivered for one of us, repeatedly had to ask for butter from 3 different people. When I told the manager about our experience, upon leaving, he off-handedly said sorry. He showed no real caring about our experience. We alo found the noise level unusually high for one of your restaurants. Thank you Ron Carter As always your food was excellent so kitchen staff should be complimented."

  • "We only dine out once in awhile so it was so exciting to have such a great first time Arizona dining experience at Black Angus. The ability to make reservations online and newspaper coupons took us to Black Angus. Our waitress not only had a constant smile, she met our every need. Our glasses were never empty. Our food was served perfectly. The food is so good (all for of us went for the prime rib & steak platters) you can literally eat a ton of it. There was so much food we were able to re-live the food experience all over again the next day. If you're looking for a cheap meal, you won't find it at Black Angus. If you're looking for a reasonably-priced three course meal, Black Angus is the place to go. We had a DREAM DINNER EXPERIENCE."

We were surprised at the end of dinner by free dessert for each of the birthday girls. Overall this was a great experience and we will definitely return."

  • "The food was very good. At our table, we had steak, crispy shrimp, pork chops, and ribs. No complaints at all. The side dish portions are very large and very good. BUT don't drink the house wine. It was returned as it must have been opened for a month, and visually resembled grape koolaid. I made a reservation for five. There were very few customers present at our 8:15 dining hour, yet they sat us at a booth that was not comfortable for us. They were surprised we asked for a chair on the outside for our 94 year old. "Oh, is that crowded? We fit six in there." White-haired folks don't "slide in" with ease. "We can open up a table over there for you". Should have done it before we got there."

  • "We typically don't go out for new years eve. We decided to go for dinner. I made a reservation. We showed up early for our reservation. Had to wait over half an hour past our reservation to be seated! We went into the bar for a drink to pass the time. They offered that we could order and eat at the bar. No wait. But we really wanted to sit at a quiet table. When I made the reservation online I requested a quiet table. We were finally seated in what seemed to be Grand Central Station. Everyone going in and out passed our table. It was very, very loud! Didn't get to have the quiet evening we were hoping for. It was quiter in the bar where people were yelling at the football game! Our server was nice. The food wasn't as good as we remembered."
