The food is always cooked perfectly and tastes fantastic. The best tasting NY Steak around... Lester is also the best server they have. He is always very friendly. Some servers there are slow and look like they don't want to be working, but Lester always has a smile for us and is very attentive.

We are regulars and this was one of my disappointing visits. Our waitress was patient since we are always slow to order and like to linger over our appetizers before ordering our entre. The food was timed nicely but it turns out my steak was over cooked and tough. I returned it and the second one was rare but barely grilled since it was less than a 1/4 inch thick but again was tough and stringy with lots of gristle running through it and like a piece of leather. The chicken was so over cooked it was burned. The salmon was cooked OK but the baked potatoes were disgusting. I don't know how many times these potatoes had been reheated but they were inedible. Was a lousy meal and they need new cooks.

We went to celebrate my parents anniversary and enjoyed one of the specials, fillet, a fancy burger, and another gourmet sandwich. Three of us ordered steaks to be cooked medium. One came well done, one was medium and one medium rare. The ice cream sandwich with hot fudge on the side was delish! The food was all tastey but the service was very slow.

However, since you asked... The steak was tough and marbled with gristle. I couldn't eat it. And I really didn't have time to send it back. We had to catch a movie after dinner. We dined at 6:30, and yet the baked potato was old, not fluffy like a baked potato should be. (I just took the entire thing home to make country potatoes for breakfast the next morning.) The by the glass wine list was limited to very cheap wines that were over priced. The salad I ordered was good, as was the fried zucchini. The service was adequate. I have dined here a couple of times before and my experiences were similar to this one. I won't do it again.

This is not gourmet food but it is great quality food, in good sized portions, cooked and served very well. Good value. If you want a nice big lobster tail and a good cut of meat for a reasonable price, this is the place.

Service was erratic. We ordered an appetizer and it took quite some time for it to arrive. Which was not a problem. However, the problem was that the salads arrived as we were taking our first bit of the appetizer. Since the salads were cold, we let them sit on the side of the table, while we enjoyed our hot appetizer. However, we felt very rushed. We informed the server that our main course needed to be slowed down. While it might have been slowed, it was still too quick, as it arrived as soon as we finished our salads; which leads me to believe that our meal was not delayed, it was simply sitting in the kitchen waiting to be brought out. This most like explains why my BBQ chicken breast was dry. This was the worst experience yet.

I used a coupon with a special price of $42 for two which included salad and soup plus entrée and a dessert for two. Even without the coupon, their price at $59 for two is still a bargain.

This was a better visit. At least there was no hair in the food this time, last time 3 different dishes had hair in it. Our server was much nicer and didn't cop the attitude the server we had last time did. Prime rib very fatty and a really thin cut not so "special" on their dinner for 2 "special"

We visit Black Angus almost every Friday evening. It has become our date night spot and we love it. It's nice and low key/mellow. We make it just in time to enjoy a little bit of happy hour then head on over to our dinner table. This is a great place to visit if you'd like a relaxing meal for you and your loved one.

Had reservations for four at 5:00pm. Last minute called and requested a change from four to eight, no problem. Family situation arose running late coming in from Livermore. Requested change to 5:30pm, no problem. Wife and I sat at table waiting ordered an Appetizer, it was my wife's birthday, family arrived at 6:00pm, no problem. Had fun and enjoyed ourselves. We had a Theater reservation for the original four in San Francisco at 8:00pm for the wife. Waitress requested faster food delivery to meet our 8:00pm deadline. Request accomplished!! However, we were 15 minutes late to the shown. no problem.

My Mother-In-Law wanted to come here for her birthday. She often eats here at lunch and uses coupons. She gets a big portion at a good price and likes the food. Dinner was expensive, mediocre and not worth it! for what we paid we could have had a much better meal at a better restaurant. Service was good and waitress was very sweet and accommodating! I would only recommend for lunch as dinner was just too $$ for what you got. I would only go back with a coupon.

I don't mind paying for extras but this time at the Black Angus, which we usually enjoy, a couple of thing were not "OK". We ordered the $41.00 special: artichoke appitizer excellent! Salad very cold and crisp: my NY steak good my husband orderer a filet with a $3.00 upcharge and it was no more than 4 bites! We were celebrating my Grandson's 7th birthday and he wanted gravy on his potatoe, $2.00 extra for maybe a quarter cup! Received a nice birthday dessert. Server was ok, we will definitely ask for Jill next time as she is great! She actually came over to our table to talk to us! We will go back but wont order what we did this time.

This is probably my last visit to a Black Angus. Service.............good. Waitress very personable and attentive. Food...........terrible. My wife and I ordered fish and chips for lunch. We received something that had the appearance of a baked potato; round and dark brown. The batter was too salty and doughy, undercooked. Fries, were limp and barely warm, not fresh, hot and crisp. Neither of us finished our food. There are lots of other restaurants to go to. I think I'll try them, instead.

The food was good, the service was great. This is a nice place to visit most definitely. We were in and out of there in an hour. We didn't feel rushed, our server was very attentive and kind. I wouldn't recommend going after 7pm as that's when it gets a little too loud for my taste. At that time there are usually lined out the door.

Our server was great, attentive but not in your face, funny but not ridiculous, she was just the right amount of everything you would expect from a server. The food, not so good, had tenders and lettuce wraps to start with, tenders over cooked and chewy, wraps forgettable. Entrees included rib eyes, salmon and a New York strip. Everyone said it was okay, me I thought it tasted burnt.

Reserved a table for six at 11:30 am on a weekday. When arrived, they tried to cram us into a booth fit for four. Most of the restaurant was empty. Had to ask to have to tables put together so we could have some room. Waiter was extremely slow and took quite awhile to come take our drink order and then to bring them. Overall, food was good. Not sure I would recommend Black Angus for business meetings. Also witnessed an employee change a lightbulb in the ceiling by standing on a booth table. Did not even attempt to clean or wipe down the table or seat afterward. Concerns me about the overall cleanliness of the restaurant.

We had a good meal....very good value since we had a coupon .......my New York was very tasty, my husbands was overcooked and chewy. The artichoke appetizer was delicious and there was more than enough food. My only complaint is that I don't like onions and on my potatoe were green onions instead of chives. Our server quickly took care of the problem. We would definitely go back!

For our 15th Anniversary, we dined at Black Angus Dublin to celebrate. There was tons of delicious food. Our server was very nice. They even baked us a cookie for our anniversary. Food was great, service wonderful, and the music delightful! The wedge salad with my favorite course with ranch dressing, blue cheese crumbles. Unlike other restaurants that serve the wedge in a huge piece, BA served it chopped nicely so that I did not have to struggle cutting my food. The high backs to the booth gave us the secluded feel of privacy, just perfect for a special occasion. We enjoyed our special date. Thank you for treating us so well!

We like to come here for a birthday celebration for a group of five and order their family meal at $44 for two-- great value and fun especially with the sampler appetizer that is a filler. So much food with salad, appetizer, steak entrees and mud pie for dessert that we had a take home box for the steak and the dessert. Ambience is fun for a close knit family or good friends seated in the booth. Their prime rib is great medium rare as ordered; their NY steak so-so. Our waitress Jill I think was fantastic with a smiling personality.
