My filet was rather tasteless, but the Bearnaise butter saved it. Wife said her prime rib was excellent. Loaded baked potato soup was tasty as always, although I could easily live without the pepper. Potatoes au gratin that came with the steak was severely over-peppered. Service was so-so; food came out quickly, but waitress blew by table more than once without noticing I needed a refill on my soft drink. Finally had to tell her. Many parties came in and we were seated in a rather noisy area (but that was to be expected considering it was a holiday evening). Our server was surprisingly still helpful, as if the restaurant was only moderately busy. We come to this Black Angus every so often, and Mother's day overall was a good dinner.
