Went to Black Angus for the first time in over a year. My date had never been there before. He was particular about seating, rejecting the first table we were offered and he actually insisted on walking around and selecting one in a different section. They were patient and accommodating. Booths are private and intimate, with lighting that is bright enough to read the menu but still low enough to be relaxing. The piped-in music was country, which is not my favorite. The food was good but not as good as I remembered it from when I used to go about once a month. I would still recommend the place, but the next time I crave steak I'll probably try somewhere else.

On making our reservation with Black Angus, we indicated that we were coming for dinner to celebrate 20 years of marriage and celebrate my wife's 49th birthday. on our 15th Anniversary at the black Angus in Dublin, we were meet with words of congratulations and feelings of being part of the family. We have been coming to Black Angus for more than 20 years and Always hold special occasions at the Black Angus. Looking back we have been to multiple Angus's over the years. San Lorenzo, Fremont, Dublin, Foster City, Concord, Arden Fair and now Citrus heights. We did not feel welcome or recognized for our special night and were seated in a high traffic area waited to long for the meal and had to request Table silverware, plates.

We have dined here on several occasions & find all the food consistently excellent. The desserts are so yummie too. The cesear salad is always scrumptious. One of the great highlights is the tasty warm bread delivered along with your salad quickly. A nice touch when your famished. There are several booths which make for an intimate setting. You can email or call in a reservation and request a particular booth ie close to the front entrance - nice for handicapped people.

I made a 6pm reservation for my anniversary. We arrived at the restaurant at 5:59pm. We were not seated until 6:30pm. So making a reservation was not necessary because we had to wait for other people that were there to be seated first.

Being a regular here and it always being hit and miss, it's definitely more misses than hits lately. I make a reservation every time and am consistently seated in the bar. The service is continually awful in there. While being understaffed, their servers seem to "not see" a lot of their newly seated customers. We waited for 15 minutes before anyone showed up. Management is very scarce in here as well. No one checking up on people. Silly me making reservations, thinking it might improve my chances of better service.

The hostess was very helpful although there was some confusion about our reservation. The problem was resolved swiftly and my family and I were seated within 5 minutes. The waiter was GREAT. Service and food was excellent and our waiter continued to check on us throughout the entire meal, which seems to be very rare now days. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

There used to be several restaurants of this chain in the Sacramento Area, but now there is only one, which is located 20 miles from our home. We like to visit this restaurant when we're in the area. Although we've had a few disappointments with seating or service, our overall dining experience of over 15 years has ranged between Good and Excellent, with an average of Very Good. We always recommend Black Angus to friends and family.

We enjoyed going to Black Angus years ago when it was located in Roseville. We were disappointed when it closed down. We recently discovered that it was in Citrus Heights, and although it is a 25 minutes drive, we enjoy going. Each time we really enjoy the food, service & ambiance. Since it is a very busy restaurant, and waiting without reservations could take awhile, we love making reservations through Open Table. We are Premiere members with Black Angus and get discount coupons which makes it even more worthwhile. The food is always good. Our favorites are: roasted artichoke, onion strings, filet mignon & flourless chocolate torte. The Filet is always cooked to perfection. And, my gluten free daughter can always find things to eat.

The restaurant wasn't so busy that you would expect a long time. It took over 1/2 hour to get our food after our appetizers. In addition this location is 1 1/2 hours from where I live so I don't think I'll be visiting again.

We like Black Angus for special occasions. Was disappointed as we had a 6:00 reservation and got sent to the bar area. We don't drink! Ask why not the dinning room and was told it was a 45 minute wait? Wait with a reservation? We could have walked in and went to the bar, not happy. Otherwise, food was good and good send-off for granddaughter leaving for college in S. CA.

I took my husband out for a birthday dinner. My father in law and mother in law was here from out of town and decided to stay and go out to dinner with us. Black Angus did not disappoint. It was a nice quiet atmosphere, we had a small problem getting a waitress to our table to take our drink order, but I found a manager and he defiantly made up for that small mistake. The staff ended up being very attentive. The food was even better than I expected. We had a coupon for our dinner that was an amazing deal, but even if you don't have the coupon it's worth the full price. Appetizers, entrees, and desert was awesome! !! Way to go Black Angus. We will be back soon!!!

We sat in the bar and it was not terribly crowded but our waitress was very slow. It took forever to get our drinks as the bartender was waiting his own tables and preference given to his tables and waited for 15 minutes for our drinks to be delivered after the order was placed. We had to ask for bread. Upon delivery of an order that had fries we had to ask for ketchup, which took another 10 minutes while our food got cold. There is no organization to this restaurant and management is clearly busy doing something other than watching this restaurant and it's poor customer service.

I always order the terriyaki sesame top sirloin twice it has been on the tough side very chewy and this time they forgot to put the sauce on it until the waiter realized it as he was bringing our checks and he brought some in a to go container. Waiter was distracted this visit. Have had him before and he has always been good.

I had lunch with my son at Black Angus on Thursday, July. 24, 2014. We had a wonderful time. The food was really good, we could hear each other talking, as the music was at a low level. However, I ordered two orders of the sliced sesame teriyaki steak to take home for my husband and daughter, because I had enjoyed the meal so much myself, and thought they would too. When I got home with the meals, the sauce was missing in both containers. The sauce was the reason I ordered the meals in the first place! This was poor service and I will not eat there again. My son feels the same way.

You can always count on consistently great food cooked to perfection! I had the grilled salmon. It was juicy, tasty with no fishy smells, very fresh. My husband had the filet mignon which he raved so much about, very tender and delicious. The artichoke appetizer is a favorite of ours as are the stuffed mushrooms. Service was also friendly and attentive. If only there was one closer to our home in Elk Grove we would come there weekly!

We went to Black Angus for our Anniversary dinner because it was the 4th of July and our favorite restaurant is closed on holidays. I wanted steak and Black Angus does have a descent steak. I was so disappointed. I guess because it was a holiday the #1 staff was given the day off. The receptionist was very friendly and the server was too. She served us drink and took our order without much time passing. We waited for our appetizer and waited. We finally got the warm appetizer after 30min. Then approx. 7 min later we received our Luke warm dinner. By the time I had eaten 3/4 my steak it was cold which made it distasteful. We had to ask for refills on drink. We had to ask for our dessert to be boxed so we could take it home. Need I say more.
