  • "The black angus where I live closed a few years ago so the closet location is in Sacramento, I really love this place it's so worth the drive. The food was very flavorful everything was just excellent! It is a bit pricey but you get what you pay for and I honestly think the food is worth it. Try signing up for the prime club to receive emails including coupons and free desserts! I used a coupon I received it was 39.99 for 2 people to share a appetizer each there choice of an entree and a dessert to share, you really can't beat that! Also one coupon is good for 6 people!"

  • "I had gotten the BA coupon from the newspaper and we took it in to use it for 4 dinners. The service was great and the food was awesome! Three of us had gotten the New York steaks (two of us had the sweet potato fries) and when we received our dinners, they were SUPER HOT and yummy; however, the person who got the chicken and mash potatoes, it was cold. They did offer to go warm it up (or not exactly sure what they said); however, since my husband was full from the appetizers and salad, he said he would just heat it up the next day for leftovers. I would love to mention that our waitress (server) was super peppy and great!! Her name was Michaela (or something like that....very pretty young African American lady!! :-)"

There were 6 of us celebrating a birthday. We were sat at a table obviously made for 4. The waiter didn't have room for all the plates and knocked the wine glass out of my mothers hand. Finally the manager moved us to another table were we sat more comfortably. We also got a nicer server. First one had an attitude. We go to Black Angus a couple of times a month. This could have been an isolated incident. But not sure we'll be going back anytime soon."

  • "I enjoy Black Angus for their food & service. We had a new waitress in training, and she did great. I loved that she had a manager walk around with her checking to see that everything was done impeccably. The food is consistently high quality in all of their restaurants. We love the filet mignon and happy that they added onion strings to their menu as this is a favorite. We tried the roasted artichoke and it was delicious and quite filling considering it was an appetizer. Despite that the place was packed on a Friday night we didn't have to wait for a table as we made online reservations. My husband got a free dessert for his birthday which he really enjoyed. The manager came to our table and asked us how our meal was and that is unusual."

The waitress was great but service was super slow. We got there at 4:00, did not have dessert until 6:15. Our friend's meat was well done instead of rare, which they replaced. We enjoyed a quiet time until, mid-meal, a party of about 40 was seated to fill the room to capacity. When we left, several tables were empty in the main part of the restaurant, but the lobby was packed with people waited to be seated. Yes, we will still go there occasionally and recommend it to others, because this was the norm, but it was an exceptionally poor experience."

We both ordered Prime Rib, (I added Shrimp to mine). I wanted my Prime Rib Medium and received Medium Rare. Both Prime Ribs were very tough. We were very disappointed in the food we received. The service was acceptable because we expected it to be busy on the holiday. We do not plan on coming back. We spent almost $70.00 on an unacceptable meal."
