Waiter (Chris) kept an eye on us and timed our entrees to be delivered to the table just as we finished the appetizer. Meal was great except the teriyaki sauce for steak was too salty."

  • "Artichokes were good. the service was so so. I keep having to go after a waiter to get something, like; horseradish sauce, hot sauce, napkins and more bread. Our table placement was right next to the kitchen entrance, so a bit noisy. The steak dinner was ok, meat prepared to my specialications but a bit tuff, some gristle and not a lot of favor. The baked potatoes needed more of something as it was dry inside after you got through the topping. I marked that the place to be good with groups because groups come to socialized and drink. Most are not interested in the food."

  • "Service is always great and responsive to special requests. I always have the rib eye or prime rib and I ask them to do a heavy cajun rub and blacken it and they do any outstanding job. It just melts in your mouth. It has been my favorite restaurant for many years. A bit pricey buy worth it. Relatively quitetand private in the very high back booths. You can call ahead and make a reservation so you don't have to wait in line, unless it's Thankgiving and even with a reservation, be prepared to wait at least an hour. Lunch hour is a great deal, lots of items under $12. Love it."

I rarely eat steak, but everything from the appetizer to the desert was incredible, especially the steak. I highly recommend the jumbo shrimp cocktail.   • "I admit we went to Black Angus on a very busy day, Valentine's Day, but because my father's birthday lands on this holiday, we made sure to make a reservation. Upon arriving, we were told to wait a few minutes. Eventually the host called out Susan for four. Our reservation was Susana for six. I understand not getting my name right as it's a common mistake, but how do you mistake the number of guests? I made the reservation online, so perhaps that had something to do with it, but after I let the hosts know what my correct name was, they kept calling me Susan! We had to wait longer to get a table for six. Once seated down, service was excellent and the food was amazing!"

  • "Felt our dinner was rushed. Received our grilled artichoke app only a few minutes before our salads, and our entrees a few minutes after that. I understand it was a busy night (Valentines) and from experience I know that this is a great opportunity for an ambitious server to make good money, but the combination of poorly prepared food (mushy overcooked shrimp and lobster tails, chewy, fibrous chokes) and the pacing made me feel like I was in a steak factory in the business of turning tables rather than providing a memorable meal. This is in stark contrast to the year before when I was actually refreshed by how unexpectedly leisurely our Valentine's dinner was. Perhaps our server was new last year. We won't be back next year."

Reserved at 8p, was told they were running 20 minutes behind which was understandable due to the crowded lobby although at 8:22, I inquired about my reservation and they had no idea why my name was not there, the hostess even flipped through all cards? One lady even went so far as to say "did we already call your name" (this lady was a manager as she do not have on the black shirt like all the other hostesses)?? I said "uh, no, why would I be standing here inquiring if you already called my name" I sent my partner in to tell them we were there at 7:51 and at that time he never left the lobby, and never heard my name be called? No apologies at all!!"

Setting up the table she said but not enough menus on the table nor utensils had to personally go get a kids menu myself, after asking twice on my way I saw our waitress and the hostess on the side sitting and talking, no wonder we were not getting serviced. No bread, when she did bring one out it was cold. Not clear on menu explanations.also it was one of our birthdays, which we wrote in the notes (along with needing a kids menu) when making the reservation and when I mentioned it they had no idea. manager tried to make up with 25off bill but doesnt change the experience"

This restaurant is HUGE and has a surprisingly low noise level. Love the privacy of all the tables. Please don't ever do a re-design!! Our prime rib dinners were excellent. Loved the au gratin potatoes and the brussel sprouts. Looking forward to returning soon. Thanks Black Angus!!"

  • "So extremely disappointed! Took my mom for her birthday with the family. She was very happy with her rib-eye steak, which was great since it was her b-day! However, the rest of the family not so much. Both filet dinners were full of grissle/fat..Filets normally are not a fatty piece of meat. They did not have enough servers for a Wednesday night. Food took forever. All I can say thank God for DS games!! Server was really nice and service was good. All and all do not recommend this place."
