  • "I will not be going back to Black Angus in Brentwood. Used a coupon for dinner and when bill came it was $10 more than coupon. They said since we ordered steak that wasn't on coupon that we had to pay more. They did not tell us this when we placed order or I would have picked something from coupon. The waitres or Manager would not take difference from bill. We will not be going there ever again. They didn't even want to fix their mistake and acted like it was our fault. Lost a customer for good!!!!"

  • "The restaurant was filled with people celebrating birthdays and it was constant clapping and birthday songs from the staff while we were trying to enjoy our meal and celebrate our anniversary. The drinks were weak, my food was too salty but my salmon was moist and cooked properly. My husband enjoyed his prime rib. I specifically requested a quiet booth and we were put in the middle of two groups."

  • "We had 7pm reservations on a Sunday. We did get seated on time, but it was all downhill from there. The Prime Rib looked gray and rubbery. My steak was suppose to be Med-Rare and it was well past done. The plates had sat under the heat lamps so long that even with hot pads they were too hot for the waiter to serve. It look 15 min for a drink order to be taken and another 15 mins to get our drinks. The place was so noise and echoed so bad we couldnt hear the person next to us.. I like Black Angus but in the future I will be going to the one in Dublin"

  • "Reservations were recommended, so I assumed this to be a good sign. The hostess told people who didn't have a reservation there would be a 50-minute wait. Friday night - oh well! The booths and sharp lighting was like eating in a glorified Bob's Big Boy. Music was too loud. Wait staff added to the chaos - very busy - not especially efficient. Our salads came with the meal and we had to ask for them. My husband's garlic potatoes were cool in temperature. His ribeye steak was nearly inedible - lots of gristle. My lobster tail was hot and had a nice grill flavor but somewhat on the tough side. Our waitress apologized for the late salads. Bottom line, if you want to be known for your steaks, serve good quality steaks."

  • "My wife and I took a family friend and her little daughter out to Black Angus for dinner. They are the new restaurant in town which might explain it. After seating we ordered drinks and water. The waitress came back in a little bit with the water but not the drinks. We ordered our meals. The drinks finally came. There seems a disconnect from the bar to the table. Then the salads came along with the little ones dinner. They were all fine. My wife and I ordered steaks. Hers was a filet and it was not to order, over done. I ordered the rib-eye and was served a wedge cut that was well to medium at best. I had ordered Medium rare. The manager did comp 2 of the dinners but would think a steak place could get it right."

Not a good scotch selection, but the bar manager did his best to accommodate our wishes.   • "This was not my first time at this location but if it was, I wouldn't be back. Normally the service is outstanding and the food is the star. Tonight, the service was poor; I had to send back my salad because it was warm and the salad was saturated with the dressing which I had asked for it on the side. I had to ask for fresh ground pepper (which is something most great servers ask). The main course was wonderful. Too bad I didn't know what the server's name was until the bill."

  • "My husband and I went on a Wednesday night at 7:00 and it was packed. The staff were friendly and efficient. There's not a lot of seating while you wait, so plan on standing while you wait for your table. The prime rib was cooked as ordered but the potatoes and vegetables were cold. The teriyaki sauce was pretty sweet but the green beans were yummy. Ask for a high-back booth if you can. It helps cut down on the noise from the open space tables. All in all, we enjoyed ourselves and will go back. We didn't have a coupon and spent $60 on two entrees, a side of grilled prawns, and two drinks from the bar"

Would suggest not putting sharp cheese in kids Mac n cheese as it's too sharp a taste for toddlers. Waiter was fine but was overwhelmed by too many groups he was serving."

  • "The last two times we ate here the food took a long time to get out. The first time we waited 2 hours for the food because they served a large group before us when we came in before them. They compensated us for it with a 25.00 gift card. So, we went back with the 25.00 gift card and they overcooked the Prime Rib, and could not serve my husband a rare slice, so my husband ordered a New York rare. They came back with a Rib Eye rare. My husband was so hungry by then, he just went ahead and ate it."

I've had a lot of filets over the years, this one by far was not very good. Both our meals were hot and did not take very long even though they were busy. I will try something else next time."

  • "We took our party of 5 for lunch on a Saturday. We booked our table online but didn't need to do so as the restaurant was not busy. We ordered the fried zucchini appetizer which was crisp and flavorful and everyone loved it. Two members of the party ordered the sirloin lunch, one ordered a burger, one ordered a lunch (French dip) sandwich/salad combo and one ordered the teriyaki steak lunch. One of the sirloin steaks came over cooked but everyone was otherwise happy with their food. My spouse commented that they would come back just for the wedge salad. The waitress was fabulous and friendly and did everything in her power to give great service. The kitchen seemed to run quite slow though as our food took FOREVER to arrive to the table."

There were open tables all around us when we were seated. The assistant manager seated us. Well he heard our complaint and comped us an appetizer. The waitress was very good and took good care of us. The food was very good. Power went out for a few seconds, strange?"

Either the servers were late or they had not planned accordingly for the amount of reservations they had. However, once we were seated we had outstanding service. I like the way everyone works together as a team. We had the filet mignon and it was excellent. Glad to see Black Angus close by."

  • "This restaurant is new and everyone is trying to get a reservation. It's so crowded and understaffed that the service is very slow. I found the sides were delicious and my guests raved about the steaks. This restaurant is known for its red meat so I would expect no less. I had their seafood and found my salmon and lobster were horribly overlooked. Not all our sides (or my lobster) came with the rest of the meal. Mushrooms were added to the wrong plate and steak temperatures confused. Maybe as they gain more experience the restaurant will be worth going to but for now, there are too many hiccups in both the front and back of house."
