Our hostess welcomed us as soon a we arrived, sat us at a nice booth & after a few minutes, I realized we had the best seat in the room! That I am sure was due our personal request through Open Table. Our server was very friendly, helpful, polite, acomidating. She kept checking on us, without rushing us. From taking our order to thanking us, everything was in perfect time! I did not want to wait for anything, although more important I did not want my mother to feel rushed! I am a server & recognize GREAT TEAMWORK! We are happy, WARM COOKIE, IT TOOK YOU OVER THE TOP:-) ,!"

I understand it's the parents' job to control their children, but when the parents aren't doing that, someone from the restaurant should be able to step in and ask the parents to do something."

  • "My husband and I had 4:15pm reservations on 4th of July. We like to come to Black Angus for special occasions or when we want to treat ourselves to a good meal. The last several times we've arrived, we let the host/hostess know we have reservations. Regardless of the reservations, we are still told to "just have a seat and we'll be right with you." We are usually seated late and seating appears to be first come first serve. Walk-ins seam to be seated at equal priority. Once we are seated, we hope we get a male server because the females are too chatty and seem to get the orders wrong. This last time we had Grant and he was the best. He was professional and timely and the orders were correct."

  • "Nothing great about this place. We both had prime rib. Mine had about 3-4 ounces of fat but overall hit the spot. Baked potato was loaded but after a few bites, unloaded. Not enough butter, sour cream, etc. to make it through the whole potato. The caesar salad was good since it had plenty of dressing, the way I like it. Our server was Zachary and was very attentive but I didn't like that he pushed all the extra's. Yes, that's a corporate thing but gets very annoying. This morning I received an email from them welcoming me to their "club". Since I didn't give them my email address, I guess they got it from Open Table. That bothers me!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

We made reservations for 6:30 p.m. on Father's Day, and when we arrived at 6:30 p.m. we were told they were still taking 6 p.m. reservations. We were placed 10th on the 6:30 p.m. waiting list. Needless to say, we were not about to wait 45 minutes to an hour after we had placed reservations and showed up on time. What a joke! We called another--much nicer--restaurant and we enjoying our meal an hour later."

  • "This was our second time there in a month. We went for our first anniversary in May and everything was so delicious and reasonably priced and the service was excellent! So, we went back for my birthday and we were equally impressed. It is now one of our favorite places to dine. We'll go there again for my husband's birthday. We've had their signature prime rib, rib-eye steak and salmon and it was all so mouthwatering delicious. Their soups, salads and desserts are just as tasty. I'm getting hungry....."

  • "We enjoy dining at Black Angus. The best part is the food. My favorite is the filet mignon, which is melt-in-your mouth tender, but my husband always goes for the prime rib. All of their sides are wonderful-vegetables cooked al dente and with the perfect addition--fresh green beans with crisp bacon crumbles, for example. We generally order the main dish and sides, and skip the desserts, because we think they are too sweet. We love to go there when we have coupons, because they have some pretty good deals, especially if you join the Birthday Club; this time we had a coupon for 30% off your bill. It's especially good to get great food at a price that's pretty good."

  • "We were a family of 6 having dinner to celebrate my youngest son's high school graduation. There were many tables with groups our size and not quite enough help. The food was fine, my prime rib a bit dry, but water refills etc. were took a bit of time to arrive. The young people helping us were friendly and apologetic and did the best they could to handle a number of tables but it was a very busy night. We were not rushing to get anywhere and enjoyed visiting with one another so our time was well spent. We had a 30% off coupon which made our dinner affordable for our family spending about $150 including tip for 6. We will return to Black Angus on another special occasion. We will keep looking for coupons. "
