  • "We had Easter dinner there, and I've eaten there several times before. That soup is to die for -- the salmon melts in your mouth, and according to my friends, the Prime Rib and Ribs are wonderful! I had the lamb on Easter and am not a Connoisseur of lamb, so am not qualified to say if it was good or not, but I did notice some pieces seemed almost raw and others were more cooked. I wouldn't order it again because the taste didn't suit my fancy. Other than that, for a busy day, the service was great, and because of the padded booths, you always can have a nice quiet private dinner with your own party at Black Angus, even when the place is full! It's a very nice place for a special occasion or just to have lunch!"

  • "We love that Black Angus still takes dinner reservations. A lot of steak houses don't any more. We arrived almost right at the reservation time and only had to wait approximately 7 minutes. Waitress was warm & cheerful. Very attentive. Food was very good. Great taste and the right temperature. Ordered the 'Campfire Feast for 2". Had to get a 'doggie bag' to take home the leftovers. We'll definitely go back."

  • "Sadly, both times were almost identical. Steak was not what I expect from a top notch steak house. I have gotten MUCH better steaks from the lesser priced steak chains. Ambiance is fine, service was adequate (only forgot requests twice...). Hate to rate an expensive eatery badly - but have had much better meals for 50% of our bill for this dinner."

  • "Had an excellent meal wtih a group of six. Good service. One exception to an excellent review is this: We ordered two appetizers, one a mixed platter and the other grilled artichokes. The mixed platter arrived plus a couple of salads and we were told that the artichokes take longer. It was the opinion of all at the table that the mixed platter should have been held until the artichoke was ready to serve. When it finally arrived everyone else's entree was held up unitl we finished the artichokes. A little better timing is all it would take. Otherwise, we all enjoyed the meal, my filet was fantastic and the prime rib was enjoyed by others in the group."

I made the reservation and explained the special occassion and asked for superb service and that is exactly what we got. There were 8 of us and we were seated at a table appropriate for the size of our party. Our waitress was fantastic, checking frequently to see if we needed anything and she paid special attention to the grandchildren. Most enjoyable evening, thank you. We will certainly be back."

The food was served hot, great flavor, steak cooked to perfection, broccoli not overcooked, presentation superb and it was obvious our waitress has been a server for many years.   • "On our most recent trip, we took my father out for lunch at his favorite, Black Angus, for lunch. We were very pleasantly surprised. It had been over 10 years since I had been in one and at that time it felt old and tired. This is up to date, private booths and QUIET so you can hear your fellow diners without needing to scream. The lunch menu items were very diverse and everything was prepared superbly. We had noted in the comment section on out Open table reservation that it was for my father's 75th birthday. They did not overtly recognize it, but when one desert was ordered (a brownie with ice cream and fudge sauce) it was served to feed 8 to 10 people. I thought it a great touch to quietly recognise a diner's special day."

  • "We were 10 minutes late and our reservation had been cancelled causing us to have to wait for a table. Once seated, we waited a very long time before our order was taken. We waited even longer for our entrees. When they finally came I asked the server about the appetizer we had ordered (artichokes) and it seemed they had forgotten about it. Manager was sent over to remedy the situation. Why the manager was required, I don't know. He finally brought the artichokes and comp'd us for them."

  • "Haven't been to a black angus in 20 years so decided to give it one more try. This location got great reviews, that's why we tried this one even tho we live less than 5 miles from another one. The bar had 6 chairs so no room there. We did make reservations because it was a Saturday night. Had to wait 20 minutes in spite of reservation. The decor is horrible. Lights were on their brightest setting.. Booth seats were hard in some areas & sunk way down in other places. Food was too salty, swimming in butter/oil (even the verges), steak was in edible, Our server was pleasant & efficient, but that was the only good thing we experienced. Will not be returning to ANY location."

This site is very busy, but the servers are excellent. Our waitress was great and cheerful on a very busy night. The other servers had great attitude too. The hostess although needed work as it was clear she did not give proper wait time to those who reservations or were waiting. Not as bad as last year, but the food was great."

( A late addition our 8 year old grand son) Upon arrival it looked very very busy, check in very friendly, good way to start the experience. We were seated in a very timely manner, 1 minute before our reservation!!! Our waitress was A Number 1. Prompt, courteous and out going, my grandson may of had a crush on her!.   • "I got the steak and prawns special-same as last time, but my steak was quite tough this time. My guest ordered the filet and it was a strange looking piece of fatty meat. It was not cooked to medium so it was sent back. I was hoping it would have been replaced with a better steak, but it wasn't. the Manager made sure that we were comped for the trouble. We have been to this Black Angus at least three times, and every time, the manager has been vigilant and visible to handle any questions or concerns that pop up. He is very friendly and does an excellent job. We will go back again. Our waitress that night was also excellent."

  • "Manager, Asst Mgr and Waitress were great. Some food on the other hand was not worth ordering (3 oz. lobster tail) because it was tasteless and tough. Seems it was boiled too long in water. Thank goodness it was just an extra $5.00. The vegetable was brussel sprouts that was halved and grilled; they were still hard and not satisfactory. Dinner was filling as well as free cookie with ice cream. I know they did the best they could but management made our dinner enjoyable and reasonably priced. Thank you."
