He is very knowledgeable about the dishes and what is in them. The lighting is perfect and the water/bubble tank that covers an entire wall is mesmerizing. I make a point to try something new every time I go and every dish has been loaded with flavor and is top quality. They use vegetables from a local farm. I love that. The food and service were both excellent. I have had swordfish before and enjoyed it, but not as well as the swordfish at Bistro West.The atmosphere was pleasant wiith energy but not crazy, just interesting level of energy. The staff and restaurant were ready and friendly. The food was excellent. The limited menu made it easy for choice.
Coffee and juices were not included...which surprised me. Loved the great flavor of the food, but wine prices were a little steep for the usually lesser expensive brands. I was presently surprised. The restaurant is furnished beautifully. It is in the Cafe section where the take out section is. The building opposite is for dinner only starting at 4:30PM.

All meals were excellent though as everyone loved the food. Round tables made it perfect for groups or families of 6. Service was friendly and impecible. We camped out for nearly 3 hours and never felt rushed or that we were being pushed out to clear the table for another group. I recommend Bistro West for a nice adult dinner. Casual place with upscale ambiance. Prices were surprisingly reasonable for the quality of service and food options. There is a food group choice for everyone which is very hard to find in other local restaurants. Portions were large and served on time to everyone at the table. This is hard to do when ordering chicken pot pie, pizza, hamburgers and steak dinners. Service was very good. Server was friendly, helpful and efficient.

I try to avoid the chaos of lunch hour (very busy) and enjoy the food and the ambiance here as much as possible. People are usually so friendly and pleasant, bus-boys on the spot, and the management is always visible in the restaurant - helping and overseeing service!
