  • Private Party Facilities: Parties with 17 or more guests are asked to select a limited menu from our regular menu or a preset menu from our banquet menu.     Banquet Facilities: bistro VG has three private banquet rooms. The large room can seat up to 60 persons. The smaller rooms can seat 30. There is no room charge; however, there are required deposits to secure a private room reservation and limited menus for groups over 16.

  • "Everything was fantastic, from drinks to desserts. My husband ordered their burger, my daughter got the hangar steak and I did the short ribs... Amazing! Definitely, the short ribs can be shared between 2! But everything tasted incredible and presentation was lovely. Desserts were tirimisu and beignets. Yum! We will be back!"

  • "We had my wife's birthday there with our daughters. The food and service were exceptional. We had Pork Chop, Seafood Bouillabaisse (Seafood Stew) and Short Ribs. Appetizer was the Sauteed Chicken livers, DELICIOUS! The were kind enough to provide a small plate of deserts with a candle in it to celebrate the birthday and a glass of champagne gratis as a thank you for celebrating your birthday with Bistro VG."

Only disappointed that they ran out of the chocolate pot de creme for the beignets on our last visit, so we had to try the blueberry bread pudding with lemon which proved to be a new favorite!"

  • "Have lived in Milton nearly 10 years...this used to be our hands-down favorite and we must have been 3 dozen times or more. But no innovation or creativity over this time means were choosing from the same tired dishes and frankly the quality seems to waiver these days as does even the presentation. No interesting specials and clearly no menu changes...except our favorite wines - now THOSE they do switch out so that we can never count on finding them. The desserts are still great, however! Downtown Roswell for us from now on....which is the epitome of innovation. VG we are sad to see you fall so far...wouldn't have been our choice. Please let the neighborhood know if you get a breath of life!"

  • "I took my boyfriend to Bistro VG for his 60th birthday this week and we had a very good experience. Our waiter, Dan, was very cordial and had a great sense of humor. We could tell that he took his job seriously and checked in on us but did not hover. I started out with a very nice glass of bubbly that was excellent while my BF got a cocktail. We ordered the crab cakes (amazing) and a pizza with prosciutto along with a beet salad for me (excellent!) and a butter lettuce salad for my BF. We ordered Tiramisu for dessert and Dan brought it out with a side of Crème Brule and a candle! All in all, it was a very nice evening with great service and food!"

  • "The sublime lady accompanying me and myself had the specials of the day (it was a Friday, for lunch): white bean soup and flounder, both well combined dishes with rich and tasty flavors. Otherwise, the dessert - chocolate crepes - was good, not exceptional, but good. I'd like to add that the menu looked interesting, though I would have expected more traditional french/mediterranean choices. I was not too impressed by the decor and personnally prefer smaller sized restaurants...consistent with short menues...."

  • "From greeting to leaving, Bistro VG always delivers! We arrived early to have a drink in the bar, & had a fun time chatting with the bartender. She was engaging and welcoming. Our RSVP was at 730p, our friends arrived right at 730p, but the hostesses allowed us to chat & get our friends drinks while holding our table. We were met at the table by the manager, I think, which was very nice! There are new & wonderful items on the menu, including Salmon, plus offered a halibut special, both were delicious! Cheese tray is awesome, and the octopus app was so unusual and tasty! Desserts finished our outstanding meal! We haven't been here in a while, from when we were regulars, and we are so happy we came back! See you soon!"

  • "We made a reservation of 4 for 8:30pm via opentable, however we did not get seated until 9:15pm. We fine out frequently and love a good dinner, but we have never experienced a 45 minute wait when we had reservations. After we were seated dinner was great, my partner had the filet and it was excellent, I had the ribeye special with foi grois butter, lobster ravioli, sautéed spinach and potatoes, this dish was full of flavor and great quality meat. I was not impressed with the service for the price level of this restaurant. I plan to try it again as it may have been just an off night for the staff, but once again awesome food!!"

We also ordered a flatbread appetizer (YUM), two bowls of white bean soup with truffle oil and a crepe. And when the evening ends, you quietly say to yourself, that was a wonderful evening...the food was spot on, the server was helpful, attentive and anticipatory...and of course the place is just cool! It's the type of place where you can share food if you want...you can mix plates, and yes, you can dine knowing there really is a chef back there cooking some incredible food that you can eat, you can taste and you can savor."

Manager intervened but too little too late. A more appropriate way to compensate would have been to offer us a complimentary next visit. Appreciated the dessert and wine but still have too poor a taste in our mouths to come back anytime soon."

Table service, cocktails, food and preparation have always exceeded our expectations; AND if i'm driving, since no parking attendent will ever touch the keys to my 911 - if a resturant doesn't have self parking....I won't be there ....they do; which adds to why I like this place."

  • "When Van Gogh's opened in Roswell many years ago, it was a fine dining oasis for N. Fulton. The restaurant has been refreshed and re-imagined as the Bistro VG to keep it current with its competition in the Roswell Historic district. Still a special occasion restaurant with a somewhat pricey menu, Bistro VG is able to deliver a very nice evening out. The food remains excellent and the service as well. A good, but somewhat pricey, wine list complements the menu well."

  • "My husband and I had to drop our daughter off for a sleepover in the Roswell area, so were looking for a place for 'date night'. We were so happy to have selected Bistro VG! The food was outstanding. I particularly enjoyed the Lamb Popsicles over kale. (The kale in particular was FANTASTIC.) The service was also great - attentive, knowledgeable, and available when you needed them but not intrusive. Roswell is out of the way for us, but it was good enough for a special trip. "

  • "There've been a lot of new restaurants opened in the Roswell area in the past couple of years, but for us Bistro VG consistently delivers the best dining experience. The food (this time it was Sea Bass with fennel & artichoke heart with a lobster claw added for excitement; tuna tartare served on a bed of piquant guacamole) typically marries a complex but harmonious blend of flavors and textures that even an adventurous and creative home chef is unlikely to be able to match. That's what we go out for - there's always something new! Add easy parking, not having to fight shoulder to shoulder in an overcrowded din, not feeling like you've been way overcharged for mediocre fare, and Bistro VG's place at the top of our list is secure!"
