The brunch menu was a nice selection with variety and really interesting dishes. The French pastries were unbelievable! Entrees were delicious.

The wait staff were all very friendly and the service was excellent. We had the Duck and it was outstanding. First of all, the outdoor garden is beauty and makes you feel like you are in France. Our server was really knowledgeable about wine and we were really satisfied with the two bottles of wine we ended up getting. We ordered the duck leg confit, pan-seared scallops, steak and halibut. Everything was cooked perfectly and we had a great time. The mussels, appetizer, was fresh and I would say the best mussels I've had in Denver. The scallop was my favorite because it was so perfect that it melts in my mouth. I thought Linger's scallop was perfect but this is better. Not as memorable this time as they took off a very popular dish from their menu that I was looking forward to. The duck galette was an experience like none other. I asked the waiter what chocolate they used in their hot chocolate. He said Hershey's. Seriously? At a nice French bistro? Something wrong with this when there are great French chocolates that should be used to match the theme. Valhrona? That should be a no-brainer. Overall the food was delicious but not as memorable as times before. I don't know if a change in chefs is to blame or not. We took some friends from New York last Friday evening, and they were astounded at this sophisticated and also approachable place. The amuse bouche was a minty pea and cream starter. We split 2 orders of the "shaved cucumber/crab" dish, and frankly we all wished we had ordered one for each of us, that appetizer went down fast and fresh. 2 people at our table had the scallops and pronounced them deliceous, 1 person had the 3 part seafood special for the evening which turned out to be a most unique dish, I had the mussels which are never as good anywhere else in Denver. The setting is wonderful, like being in a small French Bistro. The food is interesting and well prepared, and the wine list is reasonably priced and complements the food. Service is always excellent, informative and attentive without being intrusive. There is a slight tendency to try to hurry you through your meal, but if you resist - which we did - the waitstaff will back off. We prefer dining in the small dining room, rather than out in the entry hall; however, we're really looking forward to warmer weather when we can get a table outside on the charming patio.
