Bistro Ten 18Parisienne ambience on AmsterdamNow dined here twice, once for dinner and once for brunch. Light, layout, and decor very much like what you might see in Paris off the well-worn tourist paths. Food was all well-prepared, well-presented, and well-timed. Lobster Bisque was simple but delicious, the lamb entree was fantastic, but not sure if it's regularly on the menu (had it on Easter Sunday). Profiteroles are a great dessert choice because... well, they're profiteroles! Staff is generally young, energetic and well-informed. Wines selections by-the-glass were limited but good. There are 2 or 3 other bistro-style restaurants in the general area (upper west side/ Columbia/ Cathedral St. John) but I would say this is best of them - particularly food quality.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMA great neighborhood spot,A great neighborhood spot, several hidden gems on the wine list, and consistently great food! An excellent prix fixe menu as well as daily specials. Outdoor seating for the warm afternoons and evenings.4/1/2013 12:00:00 AMI've been meaning to try thisI've been meaning to try this restaurant for years. The food was good and the service was friendly and helpful. My husband's fries were soggy and my pouched egg was a little rubbery. But I would definitely return. It's a cozy atmosphere with reasonable prices.3/17/2013 12:00:00 AMFood here is consistentlyFood here is consistently good, at whatever meal. Had an excellent brunch this time. Perfectly cooked eggs benedict with a side of lightly dressed market greens. Very good bloody marys. Wait staff is attentive without being intrusive.3/17/2013 12:00:00 AM
