Bistro St. Tropezspreading the wordBistro St. Topez was a delightful surprise for the two of us who were looking for a special night out of connection, great food and a sunset to appreciate on this beautiful summer evening. Not at all pretentious. Totally satisfied with the wide variety of delicacies.6/15/2013 12:00:00 AMYum!The lunch options are many and delicious. I had the LE FRANCAIS sandwich, which has grilled eggplant, roasted peppers, spinach, zucchini, caramelized onions, basil, and mozzarella on a house-baked oregano foccaccia bread. It was fantastic! And as always the staff was attentive, but didn't rush us at all! This is one of my favorite restaurants!6/12/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat DinnerThe food was very good and the service was attentive without bein intrusive. A very enjoyable experience.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMA great first dateI brought a young woman here for a first date last week. The view was inspiring, the attention by our server just right, and the food fantastic. We mentioned we'd like to share once, and every course after that came with a few small plates to make that easier. A great evening to be sure!5/31/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful EveningWe had a group of 8 people and requested a table with a view of 30th Street Station. They accommodated us and our server, Mathew/Matieu was exceptional kind, patient and informed. Food was excellent, an all round great experience. We have been there before and will most definitely return!5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMNever disappoints!Only when they are out of bananas for my dessert, am I ever disappointed in Bistro St. Tropez. Always, predictably wonderful. I love the setting, the service, the food. Simple as that.5/22/2013 12:00:00 AMLovely Dining ExperienceI've been to this restaurant a few time. It's easy to miss...in the Marketplace Design Center building. The food is delicious, the ambiance is pleasant, staff could be more attentive. Prices are reasonable. The wine tasting that is optional with the meal is a good value. Chances are you will enjoy this restaurant.5/16/2013 12:00:00 AMLoved It!Came here for to celebrate my graduation from Penn with my family.... great food, great service, was very impressed.5/13/2013 12:00:00 AMFood was excellant

It was mother's day and the special was very good
Service was a little lacking5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful Mother's Day Prix FixWe very much enjoyed the wonderful food and were surprised by the large portions! The Sparkling Peach sangria was delicious as well. If you want to enjoy the city view, I suggest asking for a table close to the window otherwise your view is minimized by the tall wall on the window side.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMEarly Mother's Day dinnerEarly Mother's Day dinner had fine food and an interesting view over the Schuylkill River. The full room was relatively quiet, but had the servers very busy. Lobster bisque was very good, and the filet mignon and salmon were cooked as requested and were good.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMTHE BEST MOTHER DAY BRUNCHTHE BEST MOTHER DAY BRUNCH WE HAD!
Thank you Bistro for making our day so special the food and service was fantastic!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMVery good food and valueWe went for mother's day which we were hesitant to begin with because restaurant can be overwhelmed that was not the case of Bistro St Tropez which served a memorable dinner, the chef even came at our table and give attention to my mother which made her day even more special.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMFantastic Food and VibeWhat a destination, with such a great view of the river. Fantastic food and vibe. Convenient parking. Will definitely be back.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMSimply WonderfulI adore this place. We come every year for Mother's Day because they always have great specials and the food never disappoints. The Chef is outstanding and so kind hearted as well. I think it's adorable that there are pictures of the Chef and his family back in France all over the restaurant. It gives the swanky decor a sweet touch.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMNice for a group that needs to talkExcellent menu, fabulous waiter and service, perfect for a group of women who wanted to do some business and be able to hear each other.5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMSt. Tropez Tres MagnifiqueI have not been back to the ST. Tropez for several year and I was pleasantly surprised. I am a huge risotto fan and the parmesan chicken with the wild mushroom risotto was elegant. Smooth but just the right amount of el-dente so that is was a joy to eat. The portion was perfect and the wine recommended by our waiter was a perfect match. My wife had steak frites but they served a thicker meatier version of the potatoes I just loved although the crispy shoestring version usually served is my favorite. All in all a wonderful experience that we will soon repeat. The window tables with a view of the river and 30th street station is beautiful and quite romantic.5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMRepeat CustomersAnother great meal at Bistro St.Tropez. Definitely would dine here again especially since the food quality is excellent and service is always spot on.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent lunch with niceExcellent lunch with nice selection and value.
We had a delicious Croque Monsieur and the veggie sandwich with eggplant and mozzarella. Yum!
House white wine was also good and reasonable.
The vibe is very comfortable with great service and a river view which can be seen well at the tables by the window.4/23/2013 12:00:00 AMPhilly's best kept secretTucked away in the Marketplace design center, I always see the neon sign over the river and want to go in, and for some reason I rarely do. I'm glad my friend hosted her party here or else I may not have convinced myself to check it out. I just came back for lunch because I absolutely loved it. This space is so big, and swanky. It has a gorgeous view like R2L without the pretension. Perfect place to host a party or have a romantic dinner. Try the filet or the duck. Phenomenal.4/11/2013 12:00:00 AMMouth Watering...Ooh la la. The French just do everything better. The language is sexy, the people well dressed and the food... ooooh the food is fantastic. I love this restaurant. It's no wonder it has been in business forever. Philly restaurants turn over so fast, but here I was told they've been open 26 years. I'm not the least bit surprised, because the food and view were out of this world. I recommend the Dorade if it's on the menu. That's another thing! I was told the menu changes based on the fresh ingredients available at the market. What a nice touch. I respect that. On the menu it says they use local produce and sustainably harvested seafood. That makes me feel good about what I'm putting into my mouth. Merci Chef Rames for a delightful meal.4/11/2013 12:00:00 AMServers know the menu andServers know the menu and pairing very well. Menu is well designed. Very good view.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had the three course degustationWe had the three course degustation menu with wine pairing - it was wonderful! Each course was delicious and the wines were paired perfectly. The service was superb, too. I will definitely dine here next time I visit Philadelphia.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMA Hidden TreasureReasonably priced high quality food and wine. Two weeks ago we had an excellent lunch of a beet salad and chicken salad sandwhich with a glass of wine - the whole time overlooking a panoramic view of Th Art Museum area and Schuykill River. Our server, Christian, was friendly and efficient. Four nights ago we went back for dinner and the whole experience blew us away. Again with the panoramic view, the escargot, the lamb shank, the Dorade (fish), and the server, Matthew, gave us the most impeccable service ever. This is now our new favorite Center City restaurant.4/3/2013 12:00:00 AMeaster brunchHad Easter Brunch here. They did a wonderful special menu. The food was excellent. Wild Boar sausage over polenta appetizer was delicious, one of the best Croque Madame's we ever tasted. Service was superior.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMEaster PoodleI just love this place. I came for Easter with my mother and brother. The food and service were excellent. I got the braised rabbit, which made me feel a little guilty at first, since it was kind of like I was eating the Easter bunny, but our server told us that in Corsica, rabbit and wild boar are traditional dishes. She also said that in France they have the "Easter poodle" instead of the Eater bunny. I don't know if that's true. I think she said it to make me feel better, and it worked. Not to mention it was delicious! Flavorful and succulent. I loved that they gave away Easter eggs at the end of our meal. I got some fancy chocolates in mine, and my brother got a coupon for a free appetizer. It was really nice. I will definitely be back.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMWe were there for Easter Brunch. We were there for Easter Brunch. The food was delicious and lots of it. The specialty drinks and wine were excellent, too. Our waiter was very helpful and charming. This was our first time at Bistro St. Tropez and will definitely return - want o try dinner!3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMWhat a nice touch!Easter brunch was amazing! We had a delightful meal for two families. They were able to accommodate 17 of us. Even though it was a prix fixed menu, they specially made children's meals for our kids. Everything was reasonably priced, and our service was excellent. At the end of the meal, our server brought us an Easter egg basket. The brightly colored eggs had chocolate and some had prizes inside. My slip of paper said I won a bottle of wine! What a nice touch. My husband and I will certainly be back to cash that in over a nice romantic dinner. Next time though, I will get a baby sitter so we can enjoy an evening to ourselves. Thank you Bistro St. Tropez, and thank you to the Chef. Everything was excellent.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMBravo Bistro St. Tropez! The Chef never fails to please. I came for lunch recently and loved the prix fixed option. Best $20 I ever spent. I'm dying to find out how they make the salmon in phyllo dough. The profiteroles I had for dessert were just the right size after a filling meal. I didn't waddle out stuffed, but left very comfortably full. I'm glad I didn't fall asleep at my desk afterwards. Bravo Bistro St. Tropez! I am yet again a satisfied customer.3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMRecommended!Excellent service, solid French fare. The escargot are delicious!3/27/2013 12:00:00 AMAbsolutely Wonderful! This restaurant was wonderful! Both the service and food were exceptional. Matthew was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. From the bread with pesto, to the salad, to the main course, everything was amazing! Both of our filets were cooked perfectly and were served with scalloped potatoes and string beans. At a lot of restaurants where the steak is served with sides, the sides seem to be an afterthought. Not the case here! They were equally as wonderful as the steak! I tasted nutmeg and ginger in the potatoes, very flavorful and delicious without just throwing in a ton of salt! I cannot recommend this place enough! We can't wait to go back!3/27/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat for corporate meetingsI came for a corporate luncheon a few days ago. The staff was accommodating, putting us in a quiet area upon request, and the food was great. Very close to my office in the financial district. I'm thinking about having my secretary book our holiday party here.3/27/2013 12:00:00 AMQuick, delicious, convenientGreat restaurant. The Chef is very talented. My food was excellent. I came for lunch recently and had a 3 course prix fix for $20. I had to catch a train at 30th street station. (Convenient location, I could see if from where I was sitting.) I let the server know, and my meal was quick and delicious. I will definitely be back.3/27/2013 12:00:00 AMWe tried out the 5-courseWe tried out the 5-course dinner. All 5-courses were wonderful! Everything was cooked perfectly (even the calamari and the salmon). They were very accommodating in substituting my dessert (since I couldn’t have what they were offering). If you don't have time for the 5-course (about 2 hours comfortably), they offer a 3-course and a la carte options (which he had tried and enjoyed before).3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMHad a delightful lunch withHad a delightful lunch with three of my women friends. The food was very good, we were able to hear ourselves talk and the server was extremely accommodating. It was a convenient location for us to meet and the prices were very reasonable. We received good value.3/19/2013 12:00:00 AMMeal was lovely. ServiceMeal was lovely. Service was excellent. Restaurant a bit off the beaten path, so it was almost empty. A few more people would have given it a bit more ambiance.3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was an excellent diningThis was an excellent dining experience, which has been our usual experience lately. The filet mignon and scalloped potatoes are fabulous! The sea scallops also are fantastic. Bistro St. Tropez is by far the best restaurant in the neighborhood, especially if you are in the Drexel/30th St. Station area.3/9/2013 12:00:00 AMA LITTLE OUT OF THE WAY, IT'SA LITTLE OUT OF THE WAY, IT'S A LITTLE OFF THE BEATEN PATH SO YOU HAVE TO WORK TO FIND IT, BUT ITS WELL WORTH THE TRIP! WONDERFUL VIEWS, SERVICE AND GREAT FOOD3/9/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was one of our betterThis was one of our better experiences at Bistro St. Tropez. Everything was just right. I tried the rose and did not like it but that was not a problem. Our server replaced it with a white bordeaux, which I tried for the first time and liked very much. Both my husband and I loved our entrees (scallops for me and filet mignon for him) and the service was much faster than it was in previous visit. Overall, this was a very positive experience.3/2/2013 12:00:00 AMI have been here 3-4 timesI have been here 3-4 times and obviously keep returning. The iew is to die for, okverlooking the river and a view of 30th street station. I like that they have prie fixe menus on a reguklar basis and also seasonal ones eg. we just went for the Christmas one. Prices are reasonable and you cn also do the wine parings.12/24/2012 12:00:00 AM
