I've never been disappointed -- and always delighted -- by the food at Bistro Rollin. Last week I attended a wine tasting and dinner at the restaurant that featured great wines paired with five outstanding dishes. At $75, it was a very reasonable price for a memorable meal. It's always a treat to dine at Bistro Rollin even with the Metro North ride from Grand Central. The restaurant is less than 10 minutes walk from the station in Pelham. ATD

This is a local favorite of ours. We do not think of it enough in all honestly. The food is very good and the service is as well. The menu seems to change regularly always with something that seems to hit the spot. We hit it on the last night of restaurant week by accident and the prix fixe menu was terrific. I hesitate to write too much as I want to be able to get a table on short notice. Bon Appetite!

We ate at Bistro Rollin for Restaurant week. Both starters, the pasta norma and beet with goat cheese salad were excellent. The Rollin Burger and steak were cooked exactly the way we asked. The Lemon tarte and red wind and poached pear sorbet were great desserts. We will go back!

Delicious food, everything we ordered was very good. Beautiful, decor, friendly staff. It's our second time and we definitely will go back. Only one thing the desserts were soso, the chocolate mousse was too thick and compact like a hard pudding, the raspberry Napoleon just ok. But I don't care the rest was great I'll go back.

We tried Bistro Rollin for the first time. The owners were lovely and very attentive. Our food was excellent! My first course was a buratta and tomato dish with fresh pesto. It could not have been fresher or more delicious. I then had a salmon special that the waiter recommended- excellent! It had a mushroom sauce and was delicious. My husband had the mussels to start- the sauce was worth having all the bread to sop it up with. He had the duck as his entree with a blueberry sauce- again, delicious. Profiteroles for dessert topped it all off - and they were freshly made- even the ice cream!! We will definitely go back soon.

  • A Perfect Celebratory Meal!!

    Dined on 8/2/2014
It was a special occasion and four of us were present to celebrate a birthday. One of our party was on an extremely restrictive diet (vegan, with many extra exclusions) but the chef amazingly went beyond all expectations and managed to meet her needs. Others in our party had the skate, (perfectly done) hangar steak, (done exactly as requested), and a specially ordered steamed lobster for the birthday celebrant (who was VERY happy with her meal!) Somehow the chef made a standard offering, a day's special, and two off-menu specially requested dishes all appear simultaneously, and all done to perfection. I can't thank the chef, management, and staff enough for turning our celebratory meal into a truly memorable one!

not up to par. Despite only two full tables when we arrived, , the waiter offered us a table at the entrance inline of waiting staff traffic. I declined and he offered an equally unappealing location until I pointed out two tables open near the window which he reluctantly gave us. He did not tell us about specials. We began with pate which arrived with 2 tiny cornichons, no bread or crackers. I had the skate which was gray, mushy and tasteless as if it had been cooked the day before and reheated and came with a few olives and tomatoes and limp, unseasoned spinach. My friend had bland, tough flank steak which needed a sauce and was tough and gamey. Very disappointing. Did not feel the food or service was worth the price.

The fact that it is local to us is perfect. We will be back I'm sure. I do wich there more fish, specially salmon and swordfish, on the menu.
