  • Private Party Facilities: Bistro Rollin has two lovely private dining rooms. One that can seat up to 25 people and the second 35 for completely private events. Larger groups of up to 60 can be accommodated by opening the French doors and combining the two rooms. It is possible to book the entire facility under certain circumstances. We also utilize the beautiful gallery space of the Pelham Art Center across the street for Private Parties. Offering a unique event opportunity.

We also have access to the beautiful gallery space of the Pelham Art Center across the street for truly unique event

Bistro Rollin is a warm, welcoming Contemporary American Bistro with a definite French accent! We serve exquisite food, prepared by Executive Chef Manny Lozano, who honed his skills as Sous-Chef at L'Absinthe in NYC, as well as at Aureole, March and other fine Manhattan restaurants. One of the proprietors, Barbara, Arthur or their son, Paul Bratone will greet you when you arrive, and see that your total dining experience is a pleasure. Their goal is exquisite food in a casual, comfortable setting.

Open since June of 2009, Bistro Rollin has already garnered great reviews from the New York Times, Opentable, Westchester Magazine, and many others. Classic and Contemporary bistro food prepared with skill and passion along with exciting specials served by a skilled and enthusiastic staff with your dining enjoyment as their goal.

  • "It was a special occasion and four of us were present to celebrate a birthday. One of our party was on an extremely restrictive diet (vegan, with many extra exclusions) but the chef amazingly went beyond all expectations and managed to meet her needs. Others in our party had the skate, (perfectly done) hangar steak, (done exactly as requested), and a specially ordered steamed lobster for the birthday celebrant (who was VERY happy with her meal!) Somehow the chef made a standard offering, a day's special, and two off-menu specially requested dishes all appear simultaneously, and all done to perfection. I can't thank the chef, management, and staff enough for turning our celebratory meal into a truly memorable one!"

I had the salmon which was delicious and my husband had the lamb which was also very good. Raspberry Napoleon for dessert finished the meal off well with the French Press coffee."

  • "not up to par. Despite only two full tables when we arrived, , the waiter offered us a table at the entrance inline of waiting staff traffic. I declined and he offered an equally unappealing location until I pointed out two tables open near the window which he reluctantly gave us. He did not tell us about specials. We began with pate which arrived with 2 tiny cornichons, no bread or crackers. I had the skate which was gray, mushy and tasteless as if it had been cooked the day before and reheated and came with a few olives and tomatoes and limp, unseasoned spinach. My friend had bland, tough flank steak which needed a sauce and was tough and gamey. Very disappointing. Did not feel the food or service was worth the price."

My husband especially loved his duck and I had some tried and true standards which didn't let me down - frisee salad and crab cakes. Both were delicious. The service was also excellent - attentive but not overbearing. We will definitely plan to return in the near future!"

  • "The crab cake appetizer was phenomenal. We enjoyed the lobster rolls, but they didn't measure up to the numerous lobster rolls we had in Maine last summer. If you get on their email list, you sometimes get special offers (which is what encouraged us to go that night). Since the weather was good, we chose to eat outside instead of inside. A very pleasant evening."

We now live in Hastings on Hudson and still travel the distance, despite our having some of the very best restaurants right here in Hastings and the other river towns! The Bratones (sp?) could not be more gracious. It's a pleasure to visit them, eat their more than superior food. We continue to bring/meet different friends there and they then become devotees also, in each instance. Our son and daughter-in-law are moving right around the corner from them so by virtue of this writing I advise them to prepare for another onslaught of take-outers! I think that surely tells the story."

  • "During the recent restaurant week we decided to give Bistro Rollin another chance, having found it only acceptable a few years ago. The first clue that this was not going to be a winner was the menu that offered a "New Orleans style crab cake" appetizer. As an ex--pat New Orleanian, I know that while people there love crabs, they don't fix crab cakes. That's a Chesapeake Bay specialty. The raw oysters were nicely shucked, but my wife's escargot was a glutinous, inedible mess, and our steak frites were a bit overcooked. The evening ended with a ricotta cheesecake that looked and tasted unlike any we've ever had. I suspect that the restaurant simply doesn't know what it wants to be. This is certainly not a French bistro. C'est la vie!"

The waiter (the gentleman with a crew-cut) was exceptionally accommodating, and managed to fulfill our every wish with a smile and a charming manner. My fiancé is a foodie, and she's hard to please. The chef - and wait-staff offered us a delight at every turn. I had wanted to try the house made cinnamon ice cream but I didn't want a full dessert - so the waiter was gracious to let us try a sample. This is a restaurant that puts customer service - and great food - on the same level."
