"My husband & I have eaten at Bistro Roca many times. The atmosphere is lively and hip yet still rustic with a mountain vibe. Our favorite table is outside on the porch in the back of the restaurant with a view into the peaceful woods. The menu has a wide selection. Our most recent meal was an amazing special: mahi with a basil creme fraiche. We have also enjoyed the trout and salmon found on the regular menu. I gave only 4 stars due to the lack of a noteworthy salad. There is only one choice, a salad sampler with a house salad and a Caesar salad; both unremarkable. Service is always good but our server for this particular night, Jake, was outstanding- attentive, friendly & perfectly paced. The wine list is excellent & is reasonably priced."

"Bistro Roca is a charming mountain restaurant serving great food. The pan-seared mahi mahi and scallops was prepared perfectly, and the cucumber-fennel slaw was a nice acidic contrast to the richness of the fish and the grapefruit basil buerre blanc. My fiance had the short ribs, which was also delicious. The dessert portions were on the small side, but we were so full from dinner we didn't need a big dessert."
