"Ritz-Carlton quality food. Excellent service. We had dinner there on a Saturday night; yet, the restaurant was quiet, with few patrons. The menu was limited in its choices, and the wine list was undistinguished. The atmosphere and the setting was just fair. It is obvious that this Ritz-Carlton hotel was re-branded from another, less elegant hotel(s) in its past. Still, the food was well-prepared and presented."

"Bistro One LR offers an excellent brunch in a relaxing atmosphere. If you enjoy upscale dinning without the stuffy demeanor, than this is just the place for you. If you are coming for the beef, make sure to call ahead, as it was not on the carving station this week. The included vodka bar made up for any short comings. Bistro One LR overlooks the pool and has great views of South Beach. Great staff, excellent service. We were pleasantly surprised to find we were overdressed; next time golf shorts and a nice polo will suffice. Highly recommended!"

"Ok...before I write this, know its the Ritz Carlton and prices are going to be expensive, I get that BUT when paying $20 (I think it was $22) for a chicken wrap at lunch I'd expect a little more than a wrap with over dressed bottle BBQ sauce and cheap frozen french fries. The wine list is greatly over priced, and yes, I mean over priced by luxury South Beach loctions. There are a hundred better options within walking distance. Don't waste your time there. If you want to enjoy their beautiful view stick with some cocktails outside."

"Quite disappointed by this restaurant in the new South Beach Ritz Carlton. Menu was very pedestrian and ordinary and physically difficult to read. Server was inexperienced. The wrong entrees were delivered - they were meant for another table. Our first wine choice was not available. The monkfish was rubbery and served lukewarm and the steak was overdone (ordered medium rare). My first clue that this was not going to be a gastronomic experience should have been the fact that the place was almost empty at 7:30 Saturday night. The location is wonderful, but the concept of what this restaurant is trying to attain needs to be rethought."

"There was something on the menu for each of the four of us, and we all enjoyed our lunch. Our server was a personable and quick-minded young woman, just attentive enough, but not hovering. We ate near the pool, which was fun."

"the service was slow, very slow, but the food and the ambiance was perfect. For a special dinner, such as Valentine's Day, there was a musician who played smooth tunes and made the evening even more special. I had been there before and in comparison, the service was the issue. THis time it was slow."
