We had a party of 7 and ate a variety from fish, seafood, and meat. Everyone at the table raved how good their dinner was. We will definitely come back even though it is a 45 minute drive for us to get there.

We live in Boynton Beach so it is a long ride to get to 17th St in Ft, Lauderdale. However it was well worth the ride. The waiter was excellent and very professional at the same time very friendly. The food and service was wonderful and we will certainly return,

This was the worse restaurant experience I have had in South Florida in five years. Noisy; cramped; terrible service (we were there for two and a half hours); average to poor food. a half hour late seating us; an hour an a half before we got our main course; and then the food was ordinary at best.

I will NEVER book a reservation again. Like the Seinfeld episode "They know how to TAKE the reservation, they just don't know how to USE the reservation." GM was rude and couldn't care less that they overbooked and were running 60-90 minutes late! His rationale was that any good restaurant in the city will be overbooked. Not the first time this happened, but certainly the last time!!

Very disappointed in this restaurant. We'd been wanting to try it for awhile and went for my son in law's birthday....slow slow service, we waited 1 solid hour in between appetizers and entrees, and then entrees were not prepared as ordered. We didn't even stay for dessert..we just wanted out of there, we felt we were being held hostage!! Our family loves to try new restaurants, and my husband and I eat out every night but we will not be back here.

I was not impressed with the filet that I chose. When I was cutting it, it was hard to. It just didn't seem like the quality in a filet, I look for. There was a lot of fat in it.It was cooked the way I like but it just had a rubber feel to it. The mashed potatoes tasted like there was no flavor in them. It took a long time to receive our food. The Lobster Bisque and Caesar salad were very good. Also, I never received the 100 points for using Open Table but I forgot to ask so.....

As always, the food was excellent. Reservation at 7:30 netted a table by 8, which isn't bad by any standard on 2/14. The wahoo was impeccably prepared and presented, the ravioli perfect. Put this place in a better location, and you'd have a gold mine.

Arrived 45 minutes early on Valentine's due to reviews here stating problems with reservations. Had a few drinks at the bar while waiting, good bartenders, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Hostess came over 15 minutes before my scheduled reservation and took us to our table. Food was very good and the wine list was also very good, with some excellent bottles reasonably priced. I plan on returning.

I went to this restaurant on Valentine's Day and it was my first time ever there. Since it was a holiday and was sure to be packed, I did not expect great things. I made our reservations through "OPEN TABLE" and received a confirmation. When we arrived, we were seated very quickly and noticed the restaurant was full. Our Server came over and introduced himself (MARK). One of the main reasons I would return to this restaurant was because of Mark's excellent service and help with recommendations and information about the food and desert. We had a very enjoyable evening and would highly recommend this restaurant for everyone.

Went for Valentine's Day dinner. Although I have alot of food allergies, they were able to accommodate my needs - even with their special menu for the day. I will return to try out their regular menu, as it seems to be extensive. The food was excellent although the portions are large. Very good. Service was good considering the place was full due to Valentine's Day. But then again, maybe they are always busy because of the good food and good service.

Overall a wonderful dining experience. It was only marred by a very annoying and loud man in the next booth over who seemed very impressed with himself. The choices in the noise category in this review doesn't reflect what our experience was. Despite that, the food was fresh, perfectly prepared and served by experienced servers.

I have dined here several times when visiting FTL. The food is great. My recommendation is to make a reservation for 1 hour before you want to sit down at a table. Our reservation was for 8:00. We arrived at 7:50. We were seated at 8:50. They always run late & there seem to be regulars that move ahead in the seating line-up. However, when you do sit down, the irritation melts away, as the food is so good.

Our first time at the bistro. We got there early following a matinee at the Broward Center. As we waited for the dining room to open we were treated to an energetic bar scene with 2 for 1 drinks and small plate specials for $5. We were seated when the dining room opened at 6 PM. Dinner began with a gorgonzola salad which we shared. I had the Lobster and Jumbo Shrimp Fra Diavolo and my wife ordered the Bistro Seafood Pasta. Both of us agreed that this was the best we've ever had. The Pino Grigio complimented a delicious dinner. Our waitress was excellent and we topped it off with a vanilla Creme Boule. The dinner was superb, although a little pricey. We look forward to doing it all over again soon.

Treated Poorly Had 8p reservations...seated at 9:20! Host was terrible. After being told we are next twice, he seated another group in front of us. Food was good, but I'll never frequent this place again. Ruined the evening for us and our guests. Never treated so badly. We were told that "it's always like this", if so, why not change policy/procedure to fix the problem?

Bistro Mezzaluna is a wonderful Italian restaurant that is well worth looking into. The restaurant has a lot of energy and the staff and waiters are friendly and well versed in the daily specials, menu and wine selections. Food is presented well and tastes as good as it looks. Don't expect some of the common Italian/American dishes (i.e. Egg Plant) but you won't be disappointed with their menu.

We all had the skirt steak wiht chimichurra sauce and arugula salade. It was delicious. The sides of broccoli rabe and asparagus were great, too. The Bogle Pinot Noir was a good accompaniment to the meal. One diner was disappointed in the beer selection, in that they did not offer any microbrews. The service was prompt and impeccable. We will definitely return to this restaurant.

This was our first time at the Bistro. Some friends new we were traveling to Florida and encouraged us to give it a try. We had to call our friends and thank them for the recommendation right away. From the valet service to the dessert, this was one of our best experiences at a restaurant to date. The Maryland Crabcakes were spot on, the pear salad was delicious, the pine crusted seabass was cooked perfectly and the flourless chocolate cake was one of the best I have ever had. You can tell that Chef Brian really cares about the food that leaves his kitchen. The wine list is extensive and would fill anyone's tastes. Honestly, we can't wait to go back. We had a fabulous dining experience!!!

Unfortunately the best place to be is the "BAR". Food could not be worse. Their extensive wine list: They took their time TWICE to tell me they tell they did not have their wine we chose, and instead of recommending us one, they intended us to keep trying. By the time I was about to try to order a third bottle , dinner was already being server HOST could be ruder, the waiters (since we are 8 people) did not bother even asking how everything was TIP: If a restaurant is serving "INSTANT mashed potatoes" , there is a clue ABSOLUTELY dont waste your time here, unless you want cocktails and happy hour at the bar with TINA,
