The adults dined on the mussels (Monday special) which are amazing, each diner had their own special choice. The hamburger was also tasty and cooked to perfection.The wine was excellent with a nice selection of cocktails as well. The outstanding service made this a memorable evening and we will be sure to return.5/13/2013 12:00:00 AMIt was Mother's Day but still goodI'm always wary of going to restaurants on special holidays but I have to say that Bistro La Saurce was still pretty good. We went in the evening and it was obvious that the long day was taking a toll on the waitress but she was still attentive and very nice. The food took only a reasonably longer time to come out. As appetizers we shared incredibly sweet mussels, escargot that were very tender and a very tasty grilled octopus. I had an absolutely delicious duck breast with rye berries. My husband had an excellent Seafood Stew. One of my sons had the Salmon Filet and said it was perfectly done. My other son loved the Fish and Chips. They have a nice wine list. The food was fantastic - I had the Fried Chicken (OMG) and my partner had the Braised Lamb Shank (enormous and yummy!).
The best part about the whole experience was our server Katrina - she was PHENOMENAL!! She was warm and welcoming, very conversational, made great recommendations, and was what really made the evening complete.

I didn't give a 5 because I don't give 5s unless the meal is a bargain. We enjoyed everything. My wife had the duck and it was perfectly prepared. Service was good too, attentive but not annoying.
