Bistro FoufouPerfectionAbsolutely wonderful and a great addition for Traverse City.
I had a special; halibut check meat and it was the tenderest most succulent pieces of fish I have ever had.
Wine list is great. Perfect service. True French food without the over the top price tag.6/5/2013 12:00:00 AMFantastic Traverse City dining! This was my third experience dining here. They have an eclectic menu with fresh flavors. It never disappoints!5/31/2013 12:00:00 AMFrench delightA real diverse restaurant in the Traverse City restaurant scene. The nightly specials are usually not to miss!5/26/2013 12:00:00 AMDeserves its reputationThe Coquilles St Jacques was authentic, perfectly prepared, and surprisingly filling. My wife had steak frites, and I sampled. Only a kitchen with accomplished chefs like this one could take an altogether pedestrian cut of beef and turn it into something magical. Stay away from the crudités as an appetizer. As I calculate it, you're spending a dollar each for a split asparagus appear, a split carrot, and three radishes.5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMOne of the best in downtown TCIt is the best continental dining in downtown TC. Mostly classic French bistro menu. Nice wine list with a lot of choices by the glass. Excellent desserts.5/16/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had a wonderful dinner. We had a wonderful dinner. Nick has been our server both times and we LOVED his recommendations! We are good cooks and tend to enjoy the table, service and food at home- but Bistro Fou Fou pulls us out and what a treat!5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMWell worth a try!First time trying this new restaurant. Went there previously when it was Hanna's. We enjoyed it a lot and will go back again. Our waiter did a nice job!3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMWONDERFUL EXPERIENCE.Food was excellent as usual. Bartender and server were knowledgable and friendly. My husband enjoyed the bourbon selection. Atmosphere is warm and inviting. We will be going again.3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food, great WinesThis was a 5 course dinner, paired with Mawby sparkling wines. It was fabulous! The cost was $55 pp, it was well worth the price.3/21/2013 12:00:00 AMMore please :)What a pleasant surprise! Food was delicious, perfectly cooked and seasoned. We had appetizers (sardines on toast and the soup), entrees (rack of lamb and walleye), and dessert (chocolate mousse). Everything was beyond our expectations. Portion size was generous compared to other restaurants of the same caliber. Prices were reasonable for the fine dining experience. Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable and efficient. I would highly recommend this restaurant.3/19/2013 12:00:00 AM
