We shopped around the web for a place in the area where we were babysitting for our grandchildren and found this. It's in a lively shopping area but has a nice, quiet vibe with great interiordecor and wonderful outdoor dining. It's a French Bistro with very reasonable prices, especially for wines. Also has nice dining selections including small plates to add variety or keep costs low. Quite romantic though there was also a family with well-behaved children, a party 6-some, and what may have been a business dinner for two. The place filled quickly and it was easy to see why. We will return.

I am thrilled to have this restaurant in our neighborhood . . . great food, attentive service, non-chain, and flexible menus to choose from including pre-fix and small plates. We tried a couple items from the small plates and appetizer menu and all were delicious. The Angus beef sliders with shallots and brie with side salad were outstanding and I typically don't eat beef. I highly recommend this restaurant!

This restaurant has very nice French dishes and also some Italian which make a nice combo. The service was great increasing the overall experience. We took coq au vin, a very classic French dish, and of course cheese and cold cut. Their bread is amazing. And what about a dessert? Amazing , I had the crepe and my wife got the combo platter. Excellent. Looking toward our next visit to Orlando to go there again.

We went to Cloclo on a recommendation. The restaurant was not busy, but seemed to be a little understaffed. Looked like a typical bistro. We sat outside and the weather was nice. The only draw back was that you look at the parking log. The food was average. We had the steak frites, roast chicken, pate and roasted beet goat cheese salad. The frites were raw. Not crispy as you would expect. The skirt steak was cooked properly, but tasted like gasoline. Perhaps too much oil on the steak when it went on the grill creating a lot of flames. Chicken tasted good. Most bones still remained on the half chicken. Beet and goat cheese were nothing special. Dressing tasted bought. Pate and terrine were good. Baguettes they serve not good.

We had tried to go to this wonderful little Bistro in a strip mall off of West Sand Lake Road more than once. It was definetly worth the wait. We had a fantastic meal that we ordered from the 3 for $33 menu though they have a full menu and wine list. I had the escargot for an appetizer, wonderful scallops as my main dish and a fantastic triple dessert. My husband had the mussels, followed by the lamb shank and the lemon tart. He is still raving about his great meal. The wait staff were attentive and extremely pleasant, even the chef made a point to visit the tables to check on the various courses. This a great find and we look forward to going back when we are in Orlando.

We reserved this restaurant based on OpenTable and TripAdvisor reviews. We were thrilled that Bistro CloClo exceeded our expectations - great food, hospitality, and attention to detail for our group of 5. Here's what I recommend... Appetizers: Tuna Tartare and Meat and Cheese plate - phenomenal! Entrée: My husband had the Duck L'Orange, and he said it was amazing. I had the Steak Frites, and it was probably one of the 5 best steaks I've ever eaten! Desserts: Don't miss the Cronuts or Crème Brulée. Of course, anything you order will be fabulous! With real, fresh food, and chef driven menu, this is a great find - real value for the money! Dine on the patio if the weather is nice. You will truly enjoy this french bistro!

this time we had 2 grandkids (11 and 15) with us. the older boy at from the September Dining menu; younger had some 'off the menu' items. the sliders were much bigger than the normal slider, and he could only eat 1 1/2 out of 3. the fries were slim and tasty. and he had mango sherbert for dessert - a huge portion. the rest of us had the specials for September - we managed to try some new items, tuna appetizer (poke in hawaiiian) was not what we expected, as the pieces were small and he did not eat much. the sauce for the mussels was not as thick as last time, still tasted good but hard to put on bread. scallops were amazing again. the mousse dessert was actually on the lovely cracker and looked much better and tasted as good as last time.

I had reviewed the menu for the magical dining month and it had 3 of my wife's favorite dishes (Escargots,Scallops, and creme brulle). So we decided to try the restaurant on a Friday night. Upon entering the bistro we were greeted by the maitr d, Kim, who attended to us the whole evening. The service and food were both excellent. The 3 courses were delivered at the right pace and temperature. They also had a happy hour from 3 to 7 that featured buy one get one at 50% on appetizers and drinks. We are planning to return next month to take our friends there for another prix fixe dinner since we were very satisfied with Bistro CloClo.

I recently took my husband here to celebrate his birthday. We took advantage of the Magical Dining Menu (which offered great options at normal sized portions). For starters, he had the escargot and I had the mussels; both were excellent (although he did wish that there was less sauce on the escargot). We used the tasty bread and butter given to sop up the broth of my mussels (WOW!). For dinner, he had the flounder and I had the scallops, again, both were excellent. I think that Bistro Cloclo does a really nice job! They are trying to create a nice atmosphere (despite being in a shopping plaza). We sat outdoors, which was really nice. I do hope that they get a full, liquor license soon.

We dined for Orlando's Magical Dining Month, assumed the portions would be downsized for the prix fixe menu, but were pleasantly surprised. THe bread brought to the table was hot, crusty and delicious. The mussels were flavorful, the scallops cooked well and a decent size and the steak was HUGE! The desserts more than met our expectations- let's face it, the French know dessert! The service was extremely friendly and playful; the owner acted as though he were waiting for us to arrive and hoped we would be back. I have no doubt that I WILL return as there were many other menu items I am anxious to try.

We sat outside. The busboy brought our water and spilled one of them over one of my friends. We smelled cigarette smoke. They didn't tell us they allow smoking outside. We moved inside. I had delicious escargot and my scallops entree was fantastic. My husband had the ahi tuna and the steak, which was perfectly done. One of us had the mussels and wanted a straw for the broth. Our desserts, creme brulee and the chocolate mousse, were a perfect ending to our meal. While the food is a 5, the service is a 2. The waiter spilling water. Smoking outside. The servers who leaned over us to serve us our meals, pick up our empty dishes, etc. We were in a table, not a booth. There was room to walk around our table rather than doing it the lazy way.

The food coming outbox the kitchen is average for a French restaurant. It took one hour to get our appetizers, then when the food finally arrived, it was not prepared as expected. For example , asked for a Seared/Rare Pepper steak with extra pepper sauce. , which was not seared at all . There was hardly any pepper sauce and little peppers. We wanted French Champagne and French wine by the glass and there was nothing of quality French available for wine and champagne by the glass. You should look for a successful French Brasserie menu , copy and execute it well and consistently . Then you will be consistently successful.
