We had some lovely dishes - lobster bisque and filet meuniere on black rice risotto, with crepe sucre for desert. All delicious, my glass of cabernet sauvignon wine seemed to have a grassy aftertaste that I did not care for. My husband had the french onion soup and steak frites, also very tasty, his desert was creme brulee which he liked very much. The atmosphere was low key on a late Sunday evening. I enjoyed looking at the paintings from a local artist that decorated the dark red walls. We will be back.

We arrived early and still we were accommodated gracefully and with pleasure. The wine was superb and the chef, once again, accommodated a special request for mussels without cream or butter. They were wonderful the second time as well. We were not rushed into ordering and, in fact, we closed down the restaurant after nearly 3 hours of convivial conversations, wine, beer, and food.

We have been to Bistro CloClo at least four times for brunch, and will go back many more times for the brunch menu and the jazz. This time six of us went for dinner, and enjoyed it very much. I had the escargots, and the Salmon special for that night and enjoyed it. My husband had the brie appetizer and beef bourgeon for dinner. Chocolate Mousse for dessert.......yummy

We enjoy the new Bistro CloClo very much. We have been to the Brunch four times and each time have brought friends to enjoy the food, atmosphere and on Sunday's the Jazz Brunch. Delicious Onion Soup , Eggs Benedict, Quiche and Crepes to name a few brunch items. The regular menu is available also and looks wonderful. There is a quartet who plays their on Sunday from 11:30 to 2:30. Tommy Bridges on Keyboard, Dennis Lak on drums, Bob Farmer on bass, and sometimes a trombone (Bill Allred) or a saxophone. One Sunday the singer Suzy Park was there. Another Sunday, Carol Stein who plays at Epcot sat in on keyboard and sang. Tommy Bridges who is also a trumpet player played his horn.

The menu had a great selection. We started with the mussels, which came in this rich cream sauce with a hint of curry. I had the fish over risotto for dinner. It was flaky and delicious. I look forward to returning and trying more of the menu.

The music was very enjoyable! The room is quite small, so be prepared to "listen" while the quartet is performing as conversation is difficult. Our server admitted it was his "first day", and honestly, it showed. Hopefully he will improve. The food was good. We enjoyed the bread basket although the price was quite steep. The salmon benedict was served hot and the helping was generous. I would have preferred a higher grade of salmon as they used lox which made the dish very, very salty. The standard benedict was ordered by others at the table and they were satisfied. It was a pleasant meal and I would recommend trying this restaurant.

Being a Bistro, café, It is too pricey in this location to draw a full crowd all week. For example we had the Flounder special and it was good but way too large(2 large half fish fillet) and pricey. If you reduce some of the dishes portions sizes by 25% and prices by 20% both you and the Clients will be ahead. I cannot say that this is the same for all dishes as my scallops were tasty and of correct portion. Overall

The food was delicious but several items were way overpriced. Tiny desserts at $8 and $9, coffee , $3 for each cup that you have, no refills. We had an untrained server, he didn't know anything about the food. He did offer to get someone that did, he was pleasant but untrained. We will go again, the food was tasty but we will be careful and selective as to what we order. They will have to get their price value in line or they won't make it in Dr Phillips.

Bistro CloClo is wonderful. The service was incredible. Demitrus was our server. Our drinks and the bread basket were constantly being refilled. The food was amazing. For an appetizer, we ordered the brie au four. For our entrees, we ordered the coq au vin, steak frites, boeuf bourguignon, ravioli, and mussels. For dessert, Nutella crepes and French donuts (Cronuts). I can't wait to go back!

I was exceptionally pleased and greeted with my name by the manager. Server was a sweet girl, who complied to all our requests, and was very polite and friendly. I have dietary problems that needed some adjustments to their menu....they were met with explicitly and still made my order delicious!! So,congratulations also to the chef! The service, server, and management were professional and went over and above their duties to make sure we were pleased with our choices and adjustments. The ambience is perfect, uncluttered and in excellent taste. My guest, who is a foodie was quite impressed by the service and the food.....Yes, I would recommend Bistro CloClo to my friends!!

We had an enjoyable dinner here. The mussels were well cooked and flavorful as were the escargot. We liked both the coq au vin and boeuf Bourgogne. The service was attentive and proper, offering fresh silverware at each course (our pet peeve is when your fork is put back on the table instead of being replaced.) The restaurant was very nicely decorated and did fell like a French bistro. We enjoyed talking with the manager, Kelly, about France and wine. The restaurant clearly has potential and we will definitely go back.

Had a lovely evening at Bistro Cloclo for a special occasion. The service was exceptional and the cuisine was divine. I would suggest some light entertainment to enhance the ambiance, and perhaps an enhanced wine by the glass menu. We will return with friends. It is a nice addition to the neighborhood offerings.

What a fantastic edition to DP's Restaurant Row! Taking over the old Press 101 space, Cafe Cloclo brings amazing French cuisine to an intimate, delightful setting. The service is friendly, without being overbearing and our waiter had excellent knowledge of the menu giving us food and wine recommendations that were spot on ... NOT just the pushing the items at the top of the price chart. We started with the escargot, delicious on individual flaky pastry shells. I had the flounder with black risotto and the nuanced favors blew me away! The lighter-than-air chocolate mousse is not to be missed. You would be wise to get into Cafe Cloclo before it it becomes the impossible reservation to get!
