Bistro By The Tracks Good eatingMy husband and I are hard working professionals who have tired of working all day and then coming home to cook . We have discovered the Bistro by the Tracks. The food is very good and is prepared in an elegant manner . We like that the servings are not so huge, just right. You leave satisfied instead of stuffed. Every waiter/ waitress we have had has been very personable as well as efficient. This is our favorite!5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMTerrific Mother's Day MealSurprised my Mom by taking her to Bistro this past Sunday. The door was held for us, the service was excellent and the food arrived promptly. Bistro also has a very decent wine selection, and a solid crowd hung out by the bar. I can't recommend this place enough; it's good for many different types of occasions. Also, they just changed their menu, and it's full of goodies. People passionate about a little "experience" with their food won't be disappointed.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent lunch and serviceMy wife and I both have to eat gluten free, so the server was very helpful in navigating the menu. She was very responsive and available. We'll definitely go back to Bistro by the Tracks.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMThe new menu is fantastic. The new menu is fantastic. The quail is a must try!5/6/2013 12:00:00 AMFriends from out-of-townOur friends were held up by a big traffic jam on I-40 west of Asheville, and had to quickly change and rush to meet us at Bistro by the Tracks. It made a big difference that we had already been seated in very comfortable and relaxing chairs. Our server could not have been more knowledgeable and charming. She did not rush us at all but somehow seemed always available when we were ready for her. The food and drinks were really excellent. Our friends enjoyed the evening very much, and so did we. Again we were able to show Knoxville off.5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMThe caesar salad and roastedThe caesar salad and roasted chicken entree were fantastic. I was a bit disappointed in the lemon merengue "pie", the deconstruction was fine, even adding some blueberries was not terrible, but whoever thought about adding earl grey tea to the merengue needs to think again.
But overall, I was very impressed and would definitely go again.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMFood was wonderful and veryFood was wonderful and very pretty presentation. Server was very nice. Desert was very good (not so sweet but sweet enough)
Wine variety was great. Price was little high but great place for date.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMBy far, the very best mealBy far, the very best meal I have ever enjoyed in Knoxville. Outstanding food with incredible, charming service. We are in Knoxville 3X per year, and definetly will be back.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways goodEvery time we visit or pass through Bistro by the Tracks is a must have dinner. The food is always exceptional. I had the Salmon over lentils and brussel sprouts. It was had a nutty flavor and was divine. My friend had the mkt fish special it was a lite flounder with a roasted pepper relish. Also very good. We had some wine left in our bottle and there is nothing better then red wine and chocolate. That was a bit disappointing. It was a desert with three chocolates, but some powders, so the texture and taste was different. It wasn't bad, but I would not get again.3/24/2013 12:00:00 AMIf you want to impressBistro By The Tracks offers excellent presentation of very well prepared and extremely tasty food with proper service (attentive without being intrusive). While not inexpensive, it offers a meal that would cost many times as much in the big city and it is every bit as good as big city fancy restaurants. A good place to take a date or out of town guest you want to impress with a dining experience.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AM
