"It appeared that the rest. was not prepared to serve this Brunch. The service was very slow and the food did'nt appear to be freshley prepared. It was a disappointment because the placve ame so highly recommended. Seems like for Easter Brunch it should have been busy but was not---for obvious reasons."

"willl never go back. Eggs fried not poached. " fried tomatoes" were like a hockey puck. Biscuits (not under "fried" egg in eggs benedict fell apart and couldn't get a piece of it with FRIED egg. HOT BREAD on table burned my husbands hands so much that the next day they still hurt.
Grease ran off both loaves of HOT Bread into our laps. Pork on "eggs Sorella" tasted like dog S----! could not believe this was really Alex Brennan Martins restaurant. AWFUL"

"The restaurant offers complimentary valet, but it was full, so finding parking was difficult. My friend and I were waiting for a third person, but the third person could not find a parking spot, so she was unable to join us. The restaurant was not very busy-we were the third table dining. Our server was new (?) so she was not knowledgeable or very personable. The crab cake was delicious, although more of a crab stack than a cake. The macaroni and cheese did not have any flavor. The burger flatbread we ordered was not good either-the meat was cooked almost to being burnt, so it was very dry and there weren't any BBQ chips on it as the menu stated. No, I will not be recommending this restaurant to anyone."

"Fantastic food, moderately priced but you definitely get what you pay for. The service was outstanding. Our servers were Guillermo and Steve, both were very attentive and friendly without being intrusive. The atmosphere is excellent, quiet and comfortable. We will definitely be going back."

"This was our first visit to the Bistro Alex, even though we have repeatedly visited the Houston City Center. For a first impression, I think the place was great, but nothing extraordinary. Service was good and very friendly, our server was on efficient, and the manager/supervisor kept coming up to us and asking if everything is going well, which I believe is a plus. The food and portions were excellent and the price range was very decent. In short we will definitely visit again and I also recommend this to others."
