Best Restaurants in North Myrtle Beach
Bistro 90 is one of our special
dining places fairly close to our home. It is a bit pricey but worth the few extra bucks. Reservations are a must."

B90 was a mixed experience. We
were happy to find a spot away from the traffic of the strip with a promising menu. The atmosphere/layout were a bit cliché, but the live keyboard was nice. The menu offered an appealing variety that made it tough to choose. The staff was professional and friendly. In the end, the fried green tomatoes and zuppa di pesce would definitely bring us back again, but we wouldn't make the drive to Longs to dive into another pasty plate of highly oversauced pasta. An increased focus on perfecting existing menu items rather than offering 5 entrée specials may increase repeat business."

Tuesday night we enjoyed
another great dining experience at Bistro 90. A Mussels appetizer followed by an amazing Stuffed Veal Chop , topped off with a Cappuccino was most enjoyable. Our party of four all raved about their entrees and we all look forward to our next visit. The dining music was special."

We decided to venture inland, away
from the chains and long lines on Business 17. As we traveled inland I started to wonder if we strayed too far. We opted for an early dinner at 5:30pm and found only a couple of cars in the private parking lot. It was nearly full by 6:30pm.Our meals were exceptional. I opted for a Center Cut New York Strip (20 oz., USDA Prime) and my wife the Penne Carbonara. My wife is an excellent cook and is very tough to please. She loved her penne and I was thrilled with my NY Strip. Do yourself a favor and pay Bistro 90 a visit. Avoid the chains and hype of the glaring Las Vegas lights of Business 17 and enjoy their friendly service and exceptional food."

THE FOOD AND SERVICE WAS AWESOME.
VERY NICE RESTAURANT WITH AN UPSCALE ATMOSPHERE AND MENU. AND IS WELL WORTH THE DRIVE. WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO EVERYONE..."

A little out of the way but well
worth the trip. An amazing wine and liqueur list. Wonderful food offerings and a well trained service staff. We enjoyed our dining experience and look forward to our next visit to Bistro 90."

Second year in a row we've headed
to Bistro 90 for a great double date during our annual pilgrimage to MB. We enjoyed the experience and food so much last year, we had to go back this year. Notes: Food is terrific. Bourbon is pricey and they poor way to light, so I'd stick to beer or wine. (High price bourbon is listed as a single oz serving, but others are still too small) Last year, the ambiance was terrific, classy clientele. This year, the classless came in with their large parties boasting flip flops and baseball caps. Seriously, it's a nice place, least you can do is not wear a baseball cap. I was tempted to pull a Tony Soprano and throw the hats off their heads. Would be nice if the restaurant would request they remove them."

Took family after day at beach.
great food. Short drive from north myrtle. Quiet area. Nice to get away from busy beach area. Meal was outstanding. Party of six. Steaks chicken alfredo, salmon, pork chop all great."

Slightly out of the way, but
always excellent food and service! We often get the same table (maybe because of Open Table). The Chilean Sea Bass was outstanding. Higher priced than other quality restaurants, but worth the money!"

This restaurant is truly a gem and
never disappoints. The food is amazing and the service superb. Definitely one of the very best on the Grand Strand!"

While on vacation in South
Carolina my wife and I decided to have a date night, We chose Bristo 90, because it was in a quaint neighborhood. The Butter beer sauce steamed clams sauce were fabulous choice as appetizer, Dinner selection we chose was the 10 oz filet mignon with the port wine reduction sauce and the stuffed veal chop was melt in your mouth delicious. Our waiter John knew the menu well and the service he provided was outstanding. Very nice touch with a quite tone a piano playing woman supplying soft back round music. We will definitely return to the restaurant, and it is a highly recommended to those who haven't been there."

Food was excellent, service was
great, environment was great, entertainment was good but just a tad loud."
Dined on 6/2/2014
My favorite is their signature
dish, Bistro 90, which is pasta in a pesto cream sauce with sun dried tomatoes and asparagus. It is available with chicken but I opt for the veal. It is truly a treat. Their specials are also very good. The management and staff ensure a pleasant dining experience each and every time. I recommend Bistro 90 to all my friends as the grand strand's best kept secret; however, I have never been there when business was slow. I recommend reservations. "

Always excellent. Have not been in
a while and have been missing some Bistro 90. Hope to get there real soon. "

Could be less noisey to really
make a great dining experience"

We dine at Bistro 90 frequently
since we are local restaurateurs ourselves . In addition, we have dined at almost every upscale restaurant worth a visit from Wilmington, NC to Charleston, SC. I can count on 1 hand the number of restaurants that are worth a repeat visit. Bistro 90 is among that distinguish group of restaurants. They have a great variety from authentic Italian dishes, USDA Prime steaks, and this last visit I tried a Local Grouper preparation with watermelon salsa that was to die for. I cannot forget the incredible wine list that always seems to have something new lately. Only a short drive out Highway 90 from North Myrtle Beach and a hop skip and a jump out HWY 22 from Myrtle Beach restaurant row. "

Nice touch to have live
entertainment & service was knowledgeable and helpful. Prices were reasonable - a bit out of the way, but worth the drive."
Dined on 4/25/2014
We relocated to the MB area about
a year ago and have been trying various restaurants in search of the quality we were accustomed to in our previous location. This restaurant is a gem. I can't say anything bad about our experience there. Most notably there were many choices on the menu which we could see ourselves trying on future visits. We both had specials as well as items from the menu. The food was prepared as requested and was very very good. The service was attentive but not overbearing. Great ambiance. Wonderful music from a skilled entertainer at the piano. A very pleasant evening. We are sure to go back."
Dined on 4/25/2014
This restaurant is 'out of the
way' but worth the drive. The food is always good! Portions tend to be small compared to some of the other restaurants in town."
Dined on 4/23/2014
My husband and I ate there for the
first time and it will surely not be our last. Food was excellent . We started with the steak tips for an appetizer , tender and a little spicy, very good. My husband had the pork chop. He loved it, I had the tile fish..amazing. We will be back, with friends. Heads up to our waiter Todd. "

This was our first time at Bistro
90 and will definitely be back. The food was very good and the service was excellent. "
Dined on 4/19/2014
Food and service were great.
Portion sizes were large."
Dined on 4/8/2014
A good-not-great spot sort of near
N Myrtle Beach. Definitely not your usual beach restaurant- more like a Brooklyn bistro with a wide variety of Italian-American items on the menu. All that I and my dining partner had were good but not great. Wine list is outstanding, and something you don't see much in the rural south: Pappy van Winkle in their bar."
Dined on 4/4/2014
Our dining experience at Bistro 90
has always been excellent. The food, the ambiance, the waitstaff are all great. We both ordered the "Bistro 90" with veal. It was excellent. The salad with house dressing was great, as was the blue cheese dressing. Dessert of strawberry ice cream was quite refreshing. Creme brulee was great too."

Traveled from Germany to Myrtle
Beach for Spring Break with our daughter (from Indiana) and in-laws (from New Mexico) and while we were there, we celebrated our 27th Wedding Anniversary. OUTSTANDING food, service, ambience, and staff. Anita was fantastic - attentive, friendly, caring, and extremely knowledgeable and helpful - a true professional. We enjoyed many items, including the Duck Breast Dumplings, Filet Of Masami Ranch Rib-Eye Topped w/ Colossal Crab & Foi Gras Butter (specials that day), the ribeye steak, Mozzarella Caprese salad, Jumbo Shrimp Scampi, Rigatoni Sorrentino, and tiramisu. The extensive wine list complemented our meal! Truly a great dining restaurant experience and one that we will try and return to one day!"

Bistro is in a rural type area
about 12 miles from downtown Myrtle Beach but it is worth the trip. Went for an early dinner and restaurant was reasonably quiet. Service was superb by both server and owner. Food was very tasty and freshly prepared. Veal Parmigiana that my spouse had was enormous and accompanying linguini was very good. My stuffed sea bass was very tender and tasty and well as large. Accompanying whipped potato in a half skin was superb. Key lime crème brule and home made ice cream are desserts not to be missed. Only downside was cold temperature when we arrived but it was immediately rectified when we asked to have the heat turned up."
Dined on 3/26/2014
Our Experience started in the bar
where we had a couple of their over 40 Bourbons, (Best Selection in the Area). From the Jumbo Blackened Sea Scallops appetizer to our Prime, 20oz Rib eye steaks, which they hand cut to size, (size on the menu is 14oz), our dining experience was amazing. The owner helped with a wine selection from their list that won a Wine Spectator award. Fresh in house made desserts finished the night, along with a cappuccino. We missed the live entertainment but the background jazz music was very well selected. Most importantly the service was on point, just enough attention with no hovering, and no rushing. Don't miss this place, it's not on the main drag but worth the 10 minute drive!!!"
Dined on 3/18/2014
I like to think that I am fairly
critical and let a lot of minor stuff bother me when I dine out at a restaurant. I didn't have a single gripe about this place and the manager and our waiter bent over backwards to accommodate any and everything we needed. This place is awesome if you are looking to enjoy a great meal outside of the hustle and bustle of the normal Myrtle Beach scene. Our food was some of the best Italian I have had a restaurant and the dishes that I saw brought out to surrounding tables look phenomenal as well. You can not go wrong stopping by and trying this place. Take it from someone that doesn't usually care to write reviews. I took the time to write this because it is absolutely worth it. We'll be going back in August."
Dined on 3/8/2014
Very nice evening. We were made to
feel special from the moment we walked in the door. The owner was there to greet us. Our waiter, John helped to make the evening special as well. I would certainly return and recommend to others."
Dined on 2/28/2014
Food was excellent, service
outstanding. Very wide variety of choices, something for everyone. Very attentive to a food allergy. Chef went out of his way to accommodate us. We will be be backers!"
Dined on 2/24/2014
It was a tad noisy because of 2
groups but I don't think you would find that most of the time. Our waiter was fantastic and the food great. The biggest complaint was their lack of NA beers. They only carried O'Dools (the worst of the bunch. Not everyone is a drinker!!!"

Yes my wife and I had a great time
for our Valentine's night out with superb food, great surroundings, great hospitality, and all out romantic time with my lovely lady. GREAT JOB Bistro 90! Yes sir Roland, "Not Bad for a Yankee!!" Can't wait to go back!"
Dined on 2/15/2014
If you are looking for a romantic
get-away with great food, this is the place. The selection of different foods was outstanding. They give you so many choices that we had a hard time picking which one to try. We will go back!"
Dined on 2/14/2014
Consistently good food and
service. Celebrated the past two Valentines dinners here. The fixed menu was well prepared and generous. "
Dined on 2/14/2014
This restaurant has become our
favorite in the area. Imaginative (and expensive) daily specials coupled with a wide variety of primarily Italian menu items (reasonably priced) make for a great selection and never boring selection. Good music, good food, and good service makes for a great dining experience."
Dined on 1/18/2014
Our Favorite restaurant in the
area never disappoints. Roland is an exceptional host and his team does a wonderful job. From the attention to detail in the kitchen, the attentive service, and friendly neighborhood atmosphere. I enjoy big steaks and red wine and the USDA Prime beef that they serve rivals any of the steakhouses in town. This place is perfect for a golf group, family outing, or a romantic date. Only a ten minute drive from downtown North Myrtle Beach is this foodie oasis. This restaurant is not to be missed. FYI. If you like bourbons-They have the largest collection on the Strand."
Dined on 1/8/2014
A short drive from HWY 17 in North
Myrtle Beach along HWY 90 is a quaint Bistro serving eclectic American cuisine, USDA Prime Steaks, and Italian fare. Having dined at all of the other fine restaurants along the Grand Strand, this gem just stands out. We are very into wine and they have an ever growing list that rivals the best wine lists in town. If you have not tried this restaurant then put it on your list as a must! Highly recommend!"
Dined on 1/2/2014
Food was well prepared , generous
portion. Dinner experience was very nice."
Dined on 12/24/2013
Off the beaten bath but well worth
the extra few minutes to get there. The food and service are outstanding and the owner is there and demonstrates that he cares. The nightly specials make multiple visits anything but boring! Looking forward to our nex visit. Best in the Myrtle Beach area."
Dined on 12/13/2013
We had no idea this place existed!
Found it on Open table and booked for Thanksgiving with no great expectations. What a pleasant surprise! My brother-in-law is a chef in Atlantic City and was down for the holiday weekend. He said it was all around excellent as did we. I had there holiday special platter while my wife and brother-in-law ordered off the regular menu. All the food from appetizers to desert were first class."
