A word from Bistro 7 - Restaurant & Bar
“To forget how to dig the earth; to tend to the soil is to forget ourselves” -Gandhi

We are not a traditional restaurant in any way. Here we offer you a menu that changes daily. It allows us to make sure we are using the best ingredients possible; supporting the farmers and producers of our surroundings, and sourcing wine and beer that are actually worth the sip. The passion for good food is what makes us go out of our way to pick what we serve every day and it is why we’re trying to make a change. Because, we ultimately believe that a really good meal and a table full of friends and family will bring out the best of us.

  • A TRUE NEIGHBORHOOD GEM

I stopped here one Saturday for lunch a few months ago and now look for an excuse for another "girls night out" so we can go back! This was my 3rd visit but first for dinner. The Manager, Robert, remembered me and what I drank and talked about. He adjusted the music each time so we could speak quietly. The prices are very reasonable. The atmosphere is very friendly and neighborly. I love the banquettes. Mallory was our waiter for dinner and was knowledgeable, service oriented, attentive, efficient, and very charming. One of our guests arrived as we were served dessert and she quickly accommodated him with a drink and dinner. We all look forward to returning - we really do not need an "excuse"!!!

great food, farm to table, awesome quality... Bistro 7 knows what's up.. but I was upset that I made a reservation (I assumed for a table) - but was asked to sit at the bar for mothers day. - I waited 10 min and got a table... I wish they would have said something as I spoke to them the day before to confirm the reservation.

Limited menu - but everything was exceptional. Food was well prepared - fresh local ingredients. We had several small plates - grilled octopus, tapas trio plate of mushroom, olive and sweet potato - all excellent. Also tried the side of eggplant - nice salad. Salmon was a generous portion - with lobster sweet potato - differnet but nice. Will definitely go back.

I love this little Wilyon spot! We had a delightful meal consisting of perfectly seared scallops with pancetta, truffle fries, and bistro 7 salad. The most amazing part of our meal was the baby back ribs. I don't remember the last time I had ribs like this wear the meat is just completely tender and falling off the bone. Came with home made coleslaw and fries. Really the full rack is a meal for 2. This was a meal I would definitely recommend. Service was warm and attentive. Restaurant does not have a lot of seating but it's cozy and intimate. Very well put together. Looking to try many more items on this menu!!

WOW This restaurant is a TRUE GEM!!!! Came here for lunch with a friend and everything was so incredibly good we can't wait to come back for dinner. Looking at their dinner menu, it changes according to what's fresh that day. We needed this type of place in Wilton! I had the avocado burger with cilantro sauce, manchego cheese and pancetta. It was out of this world! My friend had the chipotle chicken chowder. I wanted to take a pint home it was so amazing. The kale salad is crisp and fresh with just enough dressing. Wine list is creative and interesting...service was knowledgable and hospitable. The decor is very cozy and warm. We will definitely be back!

While the food and drinks are excellent, the tables are approximately 1ft apart! so, private conversation is right out the window... service was good, at least until we decided against dessert. after that we felt like we were being thrown out the door. overall it is an excellent place to go for dinner, but try and make it off hours.

This is a smallish local restaurant in a mini-strip mall setting but very nicely done inside. Modernish with interesting slide show back in a corner. The menu varies a lot daily but there are plenty of options for all tastes and ages, including vegetarian. The presentation is delightful, taste combos impressive and quality of ingredients and their preparation top notch. I'm particularly fond of the Califlower Steak. Nice bar area and a wine list with interesting, modestly priced selections.

This is a somewhat new restaurant and seems they are still working out some details. The menu the evening we went was a prix fixe. Lamb lollipop was delicious, but the oysters were drowned in a sorbet. Main course haddock was very well done, but surf and turf the surf was pre-cooked and very bad. Meat was very well done. We weren't impressed with the deserts. Standard and not done as well as they could have been. Overall, enjoyed the evening. Food was ok and believe it will get better. Look forward to seeing how they do as they get more engaged with the menu. Place is billed as farm to table and that didn't come across, but could have been the special occassion menu.

We dined here late on a Tuesday night, so can't comment on how vibrant the bar scene is on weekends, but the bar itself is well stocked and it is an attractive place to sit, so I can imagine it is lively at other times. The food is terrific, great variety and beautifully served. The service was outstanding. We got a lot of attention and advice from our server, who entertained as well as informed us. The drinks menu is extensive with concoctions I have never seen before. We were delighted with our selections. We will definitely return.

Made a reservation for 830. Just me and a girlfriend Didn't get seated till quarter to 10..... Sat by the window it was freezing Drinks bartenders were great... Food was good. Steak was prepared and cooked perfect although my sides were not even remotely warm.... Would go back to give it a second chance Being a business owner myself I let them know about the cold food.... But over an hour wait with a reservation ? Maybe throw us a round of drinks while we waited... I'd love to see bistro 7 succeed its cozy and has a great menu and concept

Not a bad spot. Glad to have more local options that are decent. But it's not quite great. The service was helpful, but overbearing. It's hard to fault someone for trying, but I don't need to report how I like each bite and having our conversation constantly interrupted is not fun. House wines had been opened too long and were flat--nothing special to begin with. Wine list was excellent, but by the glass was meh. The food was pretty good--some dishes bordering on great. A little more work on staff, presentation, and ambience and this could be very good restaurant.

I thought the menu was a bit pretencious. It was difficult to actually find something on the menu that I wanted to eat. The vegetarian selections were the most inspiring. I couldn't understand what the hype was all about. I did have a nice quiet lunch with a friend and we were able to sit and talk without feeling we had to leave although there were very few people in the reataurant. The waiter was attentive and helpful. I doubt if I will think of Bistro 7 first when I want to eat out.

Visited this restaurant for the first time for brunch. Arrived just after they opened - and they were out of berries (featured on several of the brunch items) and whole wheat toast. Not an impressive start to the visit as they are located (almost) across the street from a lovely grocery store and could have easily rectified the problems. Brunch menu lacked excitement. Enthusiastic waitress. Dinner menu looked interesting and may go back as the room seemed comfortable and the dishes we ordered were fine-if nothing out of the ordinary.

We enjoyed our brunch very much. The service was wonderful. The only reason we gave the overall rating a 4 ,was because we felt the brunch menu was too limited. Other than that we enjoyed our visit. the decor ,flooring, service , etc was wonderful. Unless you add to your brunch menu we would most likely not return for brunch. Bistro 7 has an interesting and innovative menu, but in actuality the food was a real disappointment. We started with "wild mushroom tarts" expecting slices of mushroom, but got blobs of maybe-mushroom something-or-other on doughy puff pastry. The artichoke hummus was bland -- Trader Joe's is better. My husband ordered the sweet potato and tofu tacos: a few tablespoons of soggy orange cubes dumped on 2 small, open rounds. A tiny ramekin of strange green sauce accompanied them. My branzino was OK -- a very modest portion -- accompanied by a stingy spoonful of some sort of root vegetable side dish. The ginger cheesecake for dessert was a gummy, gritty mess. We spent $150. Save your money.

While we enjoyed the favors of the interesting menu, we found the portion size to be on the smaller size. Out of the three items served to our table, two were warm, while the other was actually hot. The waitstaff was friendly, but needed reminders for beverage refills. We were also surprised to be charged for coffee and tea refills. I think the place has real potential but they need to get these items adjusted/corrected.

Surprisingly, this area is lacking in foodie restaurants. Thank goodness for Bistro 7, whose only flaw is having a pedestrian name that gives no clue to the quality and innovation that lies within. B7 is aka "farm to fork", which is more apt. B7 was excellent. Though I would not call it a family place, my kids were well treated, as were we all. Among the delicious dishes we had - started with fresh and yummy sangria - were light, flaky empanadas with a wonderful sauce, a deconstructed msuhroom tart, a perfectly dressed arugula salad, homemade macaroni and cheese, Kurobota pork, chicken with fresh gnocchi, and a gourmet burger and fries. Creme brulee, which has been ruined by so many, was perfect. Ditto the cherry chocolate doughnut dessert
