Bistro 245Another AAA+ Dine at Bistro 245!!!Mihai S.,my server,was fantastic.He was genuinely friendly,very efficient,and checked with me several times during my dine to make sure that everything was good. Since the portions are always quite large at Bistro 245,I decided to skip having an appetizer,and decided to order my favorite menu item-the Ahi Tuna Wrap.It was "out of this world"! Very,very fresh.And as usual, they allowed me to substitute 6 fried wonton triangles w/ a side of guacamole instead of having one of their regular sides (pasta salad, tropical slaw, or fries). As a beverage,I enjoyed 3 glasses of Louis Martini Cabernet Sauvignon,which perfectly complimented the spicy soy/ginger dressing that comes with the wrap.And alas, no room for desert! Unlimited mimosas were included. Thngs werereplaced as soon as they were emptied. Traditional breakfast items, omelets, eggs benedict, waffles....to lunch items of prime rib and roast lamb, etc and the most appealing assortment of desserts that you could imagine. Server Alex moved us indoors by the windows and let us wait until the kitchen opened at 5 p.m. before we ordered. The food at Bistro 245 is always superb,the staff is always friendly and professional,and the atmosphere/ambiance is tranquil and serene. The view of the Gulf of Mexico is stunning, even from the inside of the restaurant.
