We are a Chef run bistro offering classic and updated versions of French bistro cooking since 2005. Chef Armstrong fell in love with French cookery while attending cooking school and has been busy trying to incorporate the classics from Escoffier into the menu.
We offer properly shaken/s
…tirred cocktails, a large absinthe selection and an all French wine list...with the random Argentine or Spanish wine to keep things interesting.
We are located in a 100 year heritage building which still retains lots of character...original tin ceiling, exposed beams & brick walls. We have also added lots of antiques and original family portraits from the Armstrong family.
We may not speak French...we think the food does that for us! Continued
