Bistro 1130We always enjoy our experienceWe always enjoy our experience at Bistro 1130. We live in the neighborhood and frequent the restaurant often. We have been going to Bistro since it opened. In the early days, it had the reputation of being "pricey", but they have since adjusted their approach and lower their prices to be very reasonable and competitive with other nice restaurants in the area. They have a nice wine list, but I bring wine out of my cellar with me to any restaurant we go to. Bistro is very accommodating and supplies the appropriate stemware depending on the type of wine I bring. Corkage charge is similar to other restaurants we visit. We enjoy sitting outside. We went early and on a Wednesday so we had the place to ourselves for a while and were not seated next to anyone. My husband had a filet mignon that he said was cooked perfectly. We had the mussels for an appetizer, delicious, cooked perfectly. For dessert, we had the chocolate cake raspberry mousse trifle that was complimentary for our anniversary . The server and hostess were both friendly and knew the menu very well. Loved, loved, loved the scallops I ordered and my hubby enjoyed his fish (can't remember what kind) as well. Dessert and wine were excellent too. Green lip mussels rockefeller were surprising and not to be missed. Chop board is always a great way to go. Spring risotto has an amazing truffle aromatic that paired wonderfully with the scallops.
