  • "Our dinner and time spent with friends was very good. The atmosphere was charming. This night they had a very capable piano player churning out a mix of tunes from the Beatles to Hymns. The food was good with a generous selection (and portion) on the menu. My only negative comment was that their dessert selection was somewhat limited. It would have been nice to have some pies and additional options. Overall I would definitely recommend it to anyone traveling around Sevierville. Far above any chain restaurants offering. Easy to find as well, just point your car in the direction of the Court House. Give it a try and if you are in luck the piano will be sounding out some tunes to add to your dining experience."

  • "In a sea of fast food and fried food, I was excited to find this restaurant while visiting relatives in the area. The menu had plenty of options, including vegetarian and gluten free, which two of our party were. Food was very good, and it was nice that there were small and large portion sizes for several of the dishes offered on the menu. There was a piano player the night we dined at the restaurant, and it made for a very pleasant experience. Best food I had while in the Gatlinburg area, and I would definitely go again."

  • "This place is quiet and cozy, romantic with a piano played in the background. Service was good, no problems there. The food, however, was lacking. I ordered Sun Dried Tomato Pasta and it was very bland. The noodles were over cooked, the sauce had no flavor and the pesto was not pesto. My partner ordered Cubed Steak and it was worse. I didn't try it but she said it was horrible..no flavor, the mushroom gravy was clumpy. I did try the mashed potatoes and they were dry and flavorless...just like everything else. I kept feeling like I was on an episode of Restaurant Impossible...the before tasting.."

  • "We loved the romantic music playing in the background and the diningroom was elegantly set. The menu choices were quite interesting and all sounded tasty. I had lobster ravioli with asparagus and my husband had ribeye steak which was all very good. We will definitely go back to try other appetizers and entrees! The desert was out of this world! We found the price to be very good for the quality of the food, service and atmosphere. Bistro 109 is a definitely, new favorite, place to go eat!!"

  • "Bad quality ingredients and very poor preparation of the food. Creative menu that looked like a great place to try when in town for vacation, but everything we tried was very badly prepared. Most of the food was over seasoned, so any real food flavor was drowned out. The rib-eye was paper thin and over cooked, and the scallops and calamari were bland and rubbery. The bread that was brought to the table about 20 minutes after being seated was cold and stale as well. The service matched the food as well. We got our first drinks and the food came on time, but were left waiting 20+ minutes on refills as we sat with empty glasses. For a city lacking in local restaurants, this one misses the spot badly."

  • "We had a wonderful dinner at 6:00. We were seated immediately and our drink order taken quickly. Our spinach dip with homemade chips appetizer was tasty. My husbands ribeye was cooked to perfection and he enjoyed the cheese grits and asparagus with it. I had the Maple-glazed duck and it was very good with the herbed couscous. We split a tiramisu served in a wineglass that was wonderful. The music and decor made for a very romantic evening. My only issue was that it was a little noisy around the bar where we were seated. I would ask to be seated further back into the restaurant next time I think. Overall we were very pleased and will be back."

  • "great music variety.My bonus daughter ate the chicken parmesan(she loved),my hubby ate the scallops(he enjoyed them even though he stepped outside of his box and tried the blueberry sauce that the meal comes with)and I had the portabella mushroom(I would have liked the mushroom a little less done but it was tasty).The adults enjoyed Little Black Dress pinot noir!I was a little critical of some things...I figure for the price of the entrees I have a right to be.The table linen and menu had some stains and while our waiter was nice he was not what I expected at a restaurant like that.We tipped 20% even though he was not mister personality.It was a slow night for them and as a former waitress I know what they earn hourly so I felt for the guy."

  • "The atmosphere was great, very elegant, piano bar, dark intimate setting. The food on the other hand was less than desirable. We asked for a few items both they told us ran out. Our entrees were not great, borderline ok, one the pecan chicken breast was listed as their specialty. It was a small piece of chicken fried nugget with maple syrup and a few pecans thrown in. The steak not much better, grayish looking and overlooked. This could be a fantastic place with the right chef, the owner should invest in a god chef if they want this restaurant to stay in business."

  • "My I've and I had a great dinner for our 13th anniversary. The fried goat cheese with tomato jam was superb! My salad was terrific. Service was good but not too refined. You have to remember that you are just a couple of miles the the traffic, commercialism, and chaos of Piegon Forge. This is a wonderful escape from all that junk. Prices were reasonable too. I will go again! Save room for dessert too."

  • "Their website says 5 star, don't be fooled. It is probably the best that a smaller town has to offer, but if you are a traveler to the area, beware it isn't the quality of food you would expect. Their menu descriptions sound very nice, but the execution in the meals is lacking. On a positive note, our server was very attentive."

  • "My family and I visited for a late lunch on Christmas Eve. At this time, the restaurant was empty besides our party of seven. We enjoyed an appetizer, main dish, and dessert. All of our dishes were very flavorful. We will more than likely return on our next visit to the area. Since my husband and I have small children, we do plan to avoid peak times."

  • "We were pleased to find a restaurant off the main Parkway. It's only a few minutes away from the craziness of the touristy area & worth the short drive. We were really surprised at how few patrons there were on a Sat nite given the choices of food and reasonable prices. We actually returned again 2 nights later. The fried green tomatoes were outstanding. The entrees were good, and I like that there were small plate options in case you fill up on apps. The only problem is that the kitchen cannot get the timing right. On both visits, our entrees arrived when we had hardly started the appetizers. The wait staff did not seem to realize that they should hold the entrees in the kitchen until we were ready, so we had to specifically request that."

Our party of four adults had an enjoyable evening with food and ambiance above average for this tourist-thick valley. Caesar salad is not at all traditional style, but instead made with mixed greens; still tasty & light. Not recommended for kids. We visited in mid-October, the leaves were changing, and traffic & restaurants in general were still packed."
