We were in town on a nice mountain weekend. I did some research on nice restaurants and figured I'd give this place a try. It was ten times better than expected! I can't remember the waiters name but we was great. Everything he recommended to us was AMAZING! The fried goat cheese with the tomato jam was one of the best things I've ever tasted! The caramel drizzle chicken with candied pecans were also fantastic. The piano playing was beautiful and the environment was even better. We went around 8 and got the back room mostly to ourselves. It was very quiet and romantic! The perfect first night of a great weekend!

Our evening to Bistro 109 was set for entertaining out of town guests. We wanted to let them experience something local not the cookie cutter chain establishments while visiting in Sevierville. I thought a quaint little local spot rated , supposedly, 5 star would be grrat! Our hostess and restaurants manager was quite rude about a few basic request. Our server was on her first night apparently and completely alone in the dining room and was not capable she was rude service was SLOW and food was cold upon arrival. Never ask about food or service had to ask for everything overall a terrible experience and embarrassing in front of my guest.

We are 3 hrs away & was looking for a nice place to have our anniversary dinner while in the area. Have to say it was beyond what we expected , very nice atmosphere , experienced & knowledgeable staff. The menu was great, It was hard to decide so we tried several things, Calamari as our app, Crab cakes, Scallops & Lobster ravioli as our entree. It was all excellent!!! The prices was very reasonable. We was very impressed , we have ate at almost every nice location in Pigeon Forge/ Gatlinburg area but have to say this was by far our favorite. We will definitely be stopping by everytime we are in the area!!

We came to pigeon forge to come up to the mountains. My wife and I were looking for a nice place to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary. This place was perfect! Pigeon Forge is like a Myrtle Beach in the mountains. So it is filled with franchise after franchise not really our style. This place was great small little place with great food and nice people. We loved the idea on the menu of how you can order regular size portions or smaller size portions so you can try more of the menu!

Although the staff and waiter were friendly, the quality of the food was mediocre at best. There were only a few tables with people so the waiter was not busy nor could the kitchen have been. Yet two of the items on the menu that were really " talked up" by the waiter were not available. One meal was overcooked. Our parents 50th anniversary dinner did NOT feel special at all.

We had searched online and this establishment appeared to be a good choice. The restaurant was almost vacant, at 7:00pm on a Saturday night in Sevierville, TN. That should have been our first clue. The dinner rolls were of the brown and serve variety, with a bitter olive oil and pesto dipping sauce. This was the best course of the evening. We ordered "Fresh" crab stuffed Trout and I ordered Lamb Chops. The "Fresh Trout arrived, preceded by a very pronounced foul fishy odor that literally permeated the area. It was sent back. The lamb was tough but edible with little flavor. The wait staff tried their best. This was by far the worst meal we have ever had in this resort area and we've been here many times.

Generally, we have found the food in Sevierville to be focused on quantity, not quality. So glad we found Bistro 109. Excellent gourmet dining at reasonable prices. We emjoyed every aspect of our meal. Pear and apple salad with blue cheese and balsamic dressing even had my teenagers stealing bites. Favorite entree was the caramel pecan chicken. I avoided it because it was breaded and fried but it was absolutely delicious. Also enjoyed the scallops with blueberry reduction and the citrus chicken. We were too full to try desserts. Portions were generous. Also enjoyed the piano man. Nice bar area too. Service good too despite reviews I read online. Please give this place a try!

Our dinner and time spent with friends was very good. The atmosphere was charming. This night they had a very capable piano player churning out a mix of tunes from the Beatles to Hymns. The food was good with a generous selection (and portion) on the menu. My only negative comment was that their dessert selection was somewhat limited. It would have been nice to have some pies and additional options. Overall I would definitely recommend it to anyone traveling around Sevierville. Far above any chain restaurants offering. Easy to find as well, just point your car in the direction of the Court House. Give it a try and if you are in luck the piano will be sounding out some tunes to add to your dining experience.

In a sea of fast food and fried food, I was excited to find this restaurant while visiting relatives in the area. The menu had plenty of options, including vegetarian and gluten free, which two of our party were. Food was very good, and it was nice that there were small and large portion sizes for several of the dishes offered on the menu. There was a piano player the night we dined at the restaurant, and it made for a very pleasant experience. Best food I had while in the Gatlinburg area, and I would definitely go again.

Bad quality ingredients and very poor preparation of the food. Creative menu that looked like a great place to try when in town for vacation, but everything we tried was very badly prepared. Most of the food was over seasoned, so any real food flavor was drowned out. The rib-eye was paper thin and over cooked, and the scallops and calamari were bland and rubbery. The bread that was brought to the table about 20 minutes after being seated was cold and stale as well. The service matched the food as well. We got our first drinks and the food came on time, but were left waiting 20+ minutes on refills as we sat with empty glasses. For a city lacking in local restaurants, this one misses the spot badly.

This place is quiet and cozy, romantic with a piano played in the background. Service was good, no problems there. The food, however, was lacking. I ordered Sun Dried Tomato Pasta and it was very bland. The noodles were over cooked, the sauce had no flavor and the pesto was not pesto. My partner ordered Cubed Steak and it was worse. I didn't try it but she said it was horrible..no flavor, the mushroom gravy was clumpy. I did try the mashed potatoes and they were dry and flavorless...just like everything else. I kept feeling like I was on an episode of Restaurant Impossible...the before tasting..

I had lobster ravioli with asparagus and my husband had ribeye steak which was all very good. We will definitely go back to try other appetizers and entrees! The desert was out of this world! We found the price to be very good for the quality of the food, service and atmosphere. Bistro 109 is a definitely, new favorite, place to go eat!!

We had a wonderful dinner at 6:00. We were seated immediately and our drink order taken quickly. Our spinach dip with homemade chips appetizer was tasty. My husbands ribeye was cooked to perfection and he enjoyed the cheese grits and asparagus with it. I had the Maple-glazed duck and it was very good with the herbed couscous. We split a tiramisu served in a wineglass that was wonderful. The music and decor made for a very romantic evening. My only issue was that it was a little noisy around the bar where we were seated. I would ask to be seated further back into the restaurant next time I think. Overall we were very pleased and will be back.

great music variety. My bonus daughter ate the chicken parmesan(she loved),my hubby ate the scallops(he enjoyed them even though he stepped outside of his box and tried the blueberry sauce that the meal comes with)and I had the portabella mushroom(I would have liked the mushroom a little less done but it was tasty). The adults enjoyed Little Black Dress pinot noir!I was a little critical of some things...I figure for the price of the entrees I have a right to be.The table linen and menu had some stains and while our waiter was nice he was not what I expected at a restaurant like that.We tipped 20% even though he was not mister personality. It was a slow night for them and as a former waitress I know what they earn hourly so I felt for the guy.
