The food was good. The selection was good. It was bit crowded but for that kind of space, it was done nicely that you can maneuver easily. The mimosas were pretty good. I liked how they brought in a bottle and you don't have to wait for the waiter to bring you a glass each time. The only problem I had was the waiter looked slightly annoyed by us asking for more bottles of mimosas and there was one point where he totally just stopped serving us even though he saw we were empty.

We had a reservation for 4 on the morning of Castro Street Fair and they seated up promptly. Two of us enjoyed the bottomless mimosas which they make sure your bottle at the table is always replenished. Only complaint is a vegetarian in the group asked for one of the omelettes minus the meat and was told the egg mixture was pre mixed and they could not accommodate his request. Otherwise the food came out quickly and was very good.

Bisou is so awesome! Last time I went with a group of 10 people and they totally took care of us! Stanley is an awesome host, and Alex is a great bartender! They give you gallons and gallons of mimosas and you will leave drunk and ready to party. I got the scallop benedict and it was good, but the time before that I got the croque monsieur and I liked that more. I had a great experience both times though!

Came here with a group of 12 for a boozy brunch. It was tons of fun! They allowed us to stay at the bar for a while afterwards so we could continue with our bottomless drinks while letting others use our table for brunch. This place is pretty popular so make sure to make a reservation! Everyone enjoyed their food a lot, but as a vegetarian, there was not much for me. My food was decent (vegetarian sandwich) but I definitely enjoyed my time due to the quick and friendly service.

I made an reservation for my roommate's birthday for brunch at 11:00 am. I really did not understand the rational behind not wanting to seat us until our entire party had arrived. We were all present except for one person by 11:15, and were not seated until 11:40 because one person was late. I don't understand why we couldn't have at least sat down at the table and given some waters, at the very least. I understand it's bottomless mimomas brunch and so they did not want to start serving us until everyone was there, but I dont understand why we couldn't have sat down at the empty table that was ready and waiting for us.

The food was wonderful, the service great . .. BUT . . . sitting upstairs is cramped and claustrophobic. The 6'5" ceiling is oppressive. I spent the night constantly being bumped by the person behind me. Gotta raise the ceiling and, yes I know it means less patrons, take out a few tables.

We were looking to eat close to Castro. It was Pride day and most "special" places were booked but Bisou still had room for us. Met some nice people who recommended food and drinks. Service was very friendly, just a bit spotty due to the crazy traffic on that particular day. I can't answer the questions about specific recommendations yet because I haven't been there more than this once, but the place seems to have a great bar scene, however no outdoor dining or scenic view, ...except for a good look at the crowd on castro! Food and drinks were interesting and very good. We will definitely come back and check it out this place at different times of the day and week!

Although Bisou has been around for a while, they have started to source their produce locally and they are moving towards a more organic menu. Nick has been evolving his restaurant concept since we started visiting several years ago and it is coming along wonderfully! He has developed a private farm to raise the finest and tastiest vegetables. The food all comes from within 90 miles and is fresh. He has a great wine list. You cannot go bad dining at Bisou, unless of course you fail to make a reservation! We shared a steak tartare that was made perfectly, just the right amount of spice, all prepared at the table. I had the canard which was awesome. I got to taste the veggie souflee and the pork chop - both perfect. Nick suggested an awesome burgundy that went well with everything.

Neither the food nor the service were exceptional-- in fact, both were pretty underwhelming by San Francisco standards. Our hostess failed to give us menus, and when we finally got some, no-one bothered to take our order for a solid half hour beyond that. The filet was artfully hidden beneath arugula, to disguise the fact that the portion was small, and padded out with a very strange and unpleasant stuffed tomato that might have been at home in a London pub, but not a French bistro. The meat tasted like it came from Safeway, and the French Onion soup was salty and greasy, and the Gruyere was overpowering. This is two-star cuisine passing itself off as four. I've had better meals in airports-- possibly even hospitals.

I heard of bisou through various brunch spot rankings in SF, saw the menu, and was really excited to go. I got there and it was buzzing with electronic music and beautiful people. Not generally a bad thing. We ordered and our dishes came out wrong. Worse yet, when we got that squared away the food we got was rubbery, stale, and room temperature. It had clearly been sitting under a heat lamp or out for too long prior to it being served. The mimosas were good, until I looked down at the bar and saw open glasses of mimosas just sitting there through out my entire meal, premade and maybe a foot away from diners, slowly being picked off as they were ordered. It was disgusting overall and won't go back.
