A place where grown-ups can have a great meal and enjoy time with each other. Prices were higher than average, but not unreasonable, and the whole experience was well worth it. Quite the contrary, every meal there has been nothing short of excellent. Their hardwood grilled steaks are always seared and cooked to perfection -- savory and juicy. The bone-in rib chop steak is a serious must-try. Their seafood is very fresh and amazingly good. The seafood paella is a great go-to dish, and I had a mahi-mahi special at my last visit that was very good. Their salads and pasta dishes are also not to be looked over -- my clients often rave about these dishes while I usually tend to have one of my "usual" dishes there. It is pricy but good quality food. Known for their steaks but they have a lot of variety. Great wine list. When we arrived it was before the lunch rush and fairly quiet, but by the time we left it was hopping. The server was very friendly and attentive. Had a reservation, but a lot of places still make you wait for seating -- not the case with Birk's. Great ambience, as well. We eat at Birk's quite often, but usually sit in the bar area.
