Our latest visit was for restaurant week, a must stop if you plan ahead and get your reservations early as they usually book up well in advance. As always the food was creative, fun and of course delicious! The wine pairings were also some of the best I've had recently and the service is always spot on. Binkleys is a little on the pricey side, but definitely worth it if you are looking for a true dining experience. Whether you visit for restaurant week or just a night out on the town, even the most discerning foodie will enjoy this place.

Chef Binkley does an incredible job at creating wonderful food. Enjoyed the amuse bouche in a number of varieties. Definitely entertainment for the mouth. The presentation is spectacular. I go to Paris every year and dine in wonderful restaurants there, but Binkley's certainly surpassed Parisien dining for me. The staff is friendly, helpful and very attentive. I could not ask for more.

Arizona Restaurant Week was the perfect opportunity for us to introduce Binkley's to our grandchildren. This is not typically a place that we would take the children since it is very much a special occasion place for our family. But during AZ Restaurant Week it allowed us to introduce our five year old and ten year old grandchildren to fine dining. The amuse bouches were a treat and the children tasted and loved everything. Each delicious bite was explained thoroughly so the children could understand and now have some new vocabulary around food.

This was our third visit, and while the variety of tastes remains impressive, this time the restaurant week menu seemed lacking in flavor. The carrot soup was outstanding, the beef cheeks were very good, but several items were too bland. The usual impeccable service was not there; three times we had to actually ask for service. All four of us were disappointed.

Being one of the premier restaurants in the Valley and also one of the most expensive, joining them for Restaurant Week was a real deal! They delivered an array of little appetizer gems prior to the main event of pork cheeks which were amazing. The food and service was excellent and is exactly what you receive when dining there any other time. It is a real culinary joyride and you just want to keep riding!

My Fiance and I are complete foodies. When we lived in NYC, our tradition for birthday or anniversary dinners was to go out to a new Michelin Star restaurant each year. Unfortunately the Michelin guide only rates certain states, and Arizona is not among them. If it were, Binkley's would have at least one Michelin Star, possibly two. Our meal was one of the best I have ever eaten, and we were showered with an array of unique amuse bouches, and aperitifs. This made the experience extremely memorable. They also put "Happy 4th Anniversary" on our menus which was a nice touch. Overall I couldn't have been happier with our experience. It is now in my top 3 favorite meals of all time. We plan on returning many times in the future.

We were starving when we left. The food was served in shot glasses and the main Entree was 2 pieces of meat the size of .50 pieces and bread pudding the size of a miniture Tootsie roll! I am not exaggerating either! My husband wanted to go eat pizza after because we were still hungry! I would not recommend going to eat here if you are hungry! Too much money for the miniscule amount of food you get!

binkley's is simply one of the valley's best. impeccable service, delightful presentation, ingenious creations. my most recent visit was for restaurant week and i was not disappointed. the vibe is a little different because its busier so maybe not as intimate, but the food was still amazing. after the first amuse-bouche was happily dropped at our table, the anticipation and excitement for what was to come created an experience that was unique and convivial for both me and my coney dog, pizza loving husband. it was a reluctant first visit for him but he's already looking forward to his next. we're not foodies by any stretch, but we'll gladly swap our pork tenderloins for decadent bbq pork cheeks when we can.

This is a hidden gem. I don't know why I have never heard of it before. I went for restaurant week to try it out. The meal and the restaurant were amazing. The staff was excellent. The food and meal was the best I ever had in my life. I ate everything that was put in front of me. It was exceptional. The food is very small portions with bold flavors because you have so many courses. The carrot soup was wonderful, creamy rich great flavor. The salmon and cucumber salad was refreshing and perfect. The pork cheeks were very flavorful and tasty. Dessert was the best rich and creamy and melt in your mouth. I can't do it justice to describe it. GO to the website look at the pictures and it does taste as good as it looks. AMAZING meal.

Binkley's is well known and has a deservedly great reputation. Their amuse-bouches served throughout the meal are fascinating, imaginative, and flavorful. My only complaint of the night was that my pork loin was not very tender. Additionally, about one-third of it was solid fat. Given the chef's expertise and reputation, it's possible that the fat was left on purpose to add tenderness and/or flavor but if so, it did not accomplish the former and only some of the latter.

It was a milestone birthday for my wife; and there is nothing more special in Arizona than Binkley's. Service level was exceptional and the staff jumped right into our celebration, with seemingly every employee offering congratulations. What a nice touch! We chose the 5-course tasting menu with the wine pairing. We always love the amuse bouche surprises, so we asked the chef to surprise us with the tasting menu selections as well (soft shelled crab, swordfish, steak tartare, oh my). What better experience than bursting out laughing after biting into the intensely flavored miniature pulled pork sandwich with a tiny gherkin, knowing you have just begun the adventure of a truly memorable evening for every one of your senses!

We had the 5 course tasting, and if you think you are getting just 5 courses, you are wrong. They surprise you throughout with an endless supply of treats. We had heard about Binkley's from our friends for several years. It was our anniversary and so we decided to make the drive to Carefree. My husband has dined all over the world including Hong Kong, Shanghai, New York, and Aspen. He thought it was the best overall dining experience he had ever encountered. It is really like a performance. We had a four course tasting menu with wine pairings. Over the course of the meal, between 8 and 10 different servers brought us additional "bites" of unusual but delicious culinary treats. We estimate that we had at least 18 different "tastings" including our entrees by the end of the meal. The servers were very professional and clearly enjoyed serving us each delicious tasting. A great night!

I'm so saddened about my experience at Binkley’s! First, let me say our fist 4 courses were amazing! One of the wait staff accidently knocked a full glass of water in my lap at the beginning of our fourth course. Hey, accidents happen. I initially said I needed to speak with the manager. The manager never came, but my check did. The check came, and THERE WASN’T ANY COMP? Not that I wanted a comp in the first place, I wanted the full experience like we had initially planned. I had a soaked lap I definitely just wanted to go home. The waiter did take the check back and it came back with $40 off in cocktails. I didn’t want comp’d for cocktails. I’m paying for an experience, did I get that experience? I emailed them, no response. I won't be back

This is my third time dinning at Binkley's, the first time was amazing, the second was good and this time was just so so. When you pay over $600 for dinner it should never be so so. Most of the dishes were way to over salted and the filets were way to over cooked, med rare requested was between med to med well. I don't think I'll ever be back.

HAVING MADE A RESERVATION FOR MY PARTNER'S BIRTHDAY, AFTER OUR 4TH COURSE I WAS STUNNED TO SEE STAFF DELIVERING A GORGEOUS CAKE, COMPLETE WITH LIVE FLOWERS, MY ENGAGEMENT RING AND "WILL YOU MARRY ME?" WRITTEN ON AN ICING BANNER, ALL INITIALLY HIDDEN UNDER A LACY DOME. THEY MADE THIS MOST SPECIAL NIGHT OF MY LIFE...PERFECT! THE FOOD WAS TASTEFULLY PRESENTED THROUGHOUT THE EVENING BY KNOWLEDGEABLE WAITSTAFF WHO WERE PATIENT WITH OUR NUMEROUS QUESTIONS. The food at Binkley's was up there with the best restaurants at which we have dined, comparable to the finest San Francisco restaurants, however the overall fine dining experience was hindered by the room atmosphere. Specifically, the central kitchen area was quite bustling and noisy; the carpeting seemed substandard and dated, as did the furniture. The wait staff was knowledgeable but seemed in a hurry; they would blurt out the descriptions of the courses and then quickly leave. The wine pairings were outstanding, but one was delivered (albeit with an apology) after I had finished the course For one to drive 45+ minutes to a remote area for an expensive, special occasion meal, all elements of the dining experience must be in sync.

What a wonderful combination of service, ambience and food. Chef Binkley and his staff have created a culinary masterpiece. We did the tasting menu and shared pretty much everything on the menu. The highlights were the corn, lobster risotto which was out of this world. The foie gras was outstanding. The tuna, salmon and beef, lamb plates were all delicious. The only disappointing dish was the cuttlefish which was pretty bland and the cheese plate seemd a bit dried out. The wine flights were well matched and tasty. The deserts were also on the mark. The service was outstanding; friendly efficient, concerned and entertaining. This is clearly the best restaurant in the region and well worth the trip to Cave Creek.

Binkley's is a favorite for special ocassions, and once again we were dazzled by our dining experience on our 20th wedding anniversary. The meal was outstanding, and the intermezzos gave the diner a sense of chef Binkley's playfulness. From exploding blueberries, to what I call 'dippin' dots' salad, it felt as though Binkley was watching and smiling throughout our evening. The entire experience was a delight from start to finish. Every morsel tantalized the palate. My peach cocktail was perfect and the service was attentive but not cloying. Binkley's is not just a meal, it is an experience! We will definitely return.

I finally made the trek out to Cave Creek and I’m now mad it took me so long. It was well worth the travel time from Central Phoenix. I appreciate good food and good service but everything about Binkley’s was beyond that. It was outstanding. I love that they have a tasting menu with wine pairings allowing for more variety with smaller portions. Every course and every pairing was wonderful. Before the first course and in between there were delightful amuse-bouches numbering almost 10 by the end of the meal. Every one was creative and delicious. Brinkley’s will be our special occasion restaurant from now on. I can’t wait to dine here again.

Service was not in line with fine dining. Very slow start. Waiter did not appear to listen. Mistakes continued until the preparation of the bill. (Which was also incorrectly prepared). Not likely to return. Did not watch up to our first visit. I guess they started their vacation early. Follow up phone call was also disappointing.
