I worked with the BIN36 event coordinator to pre-select cheeses, a wine flight, and some hors d'oeuvres for the group. They had everything pre-set when we arrived and the table looked beautiful. The self-led tasting was fun and informative - the restaurant provided tasting notes for the wine and the cheese. My team especially liked how the dinner menu provided pairings for the wine from each menu item. It certainly made ordering easier!
The food and service were very good. The dining room was a bit noisy, but we probably were the culprits! It's a great spot to do a team or group outing. The wine was surprisingly wonderful and Enoch was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with future wine selections. I chose Bin 36 to celebrate my wife's birthday and he made sure it was an unforgettable experience. He presented us with the best wines, based on our preferences, likes, and dislikes. How knowledgeable does one have to be about wines in order to pick them based on individual preferences? His knowledge is very impressive!! He got us very excited to experience these wines and made sure that we had a full experience--he talked us through how to best enjoy each serving. Enoch was not the only star, our server, Olivia, was attentive and made great recommendations as well. But the restaurant and the waitress came through with a welcoming mat to accommodate our daughter's taste buds, as well as an inviting atmosphere for my guests, who are from a southern state. My husband and I really enjoyed the wine- he chose 2 red flights and I stuck with Prosecco. The food was delicious- I had some cheeses, a beet salad- big yum, and the brussel sprouts. My husband had the pork chop, which was cooked perfectly. Our service was also excellent. Our water glasses were always full, our server was attentive but not over-bearing, and the food came out very quickly. Our server Becca was very well-informed and provided excellent suggestions. The wine selection is good and are paired very well to each food option. The applewood bacon mussels were a delight. Everyone raved about the food, including the kids. I ordered salmon which was cooked perfectly and the caramelized brussell sprouts were delicious as well. Our wines were paired perfectly with our entrees. And save room for dessert. The maple bourbon pot de creme was worth the calories. I must also add the great time was only enhanced by the perfectly attentive staff. We arrived a few minutes ahead of our reservation time and were greeted at the front by two very cheerful hostesses. Our waiter, Raul, made great suggestions for our entrees and helped get our kids restless bellies full from the start. It was served with beluga lentils (also cooked to perfection) and spinach; very flavorful. My lunch guest had the tagliatelle with bolognese. She said it was outstanding. At first impression, the place was empty at 11:45am. The lunch area is extremely casual in comparison with the dinner scene. That surprised me a little but the food was spectacular. It was less crowded than we were expecting, but I would recommend Bin 36 to anyone! We had lots of wine, a great cheese plate, some appetizers and more small plates to share. We were seated easily on time, the wine came quickly, as did the food. For 5 people we ordered 2 cheese flights, the charcuterie platter, the lamb meatballs, 2 salads, and the steak tartare. All were absolutely fantastic, especially the cheese and the beet salad! Three fantastic desserts rounded out the meal. The only downsides were our second bottle of red wine, which came out very warm and required us to send it back to chill it down to a less-boiling temp, and the noise, which is pretty loud. Prices are very reasonable for what you are getting.

Restaurant was nearly empty when we were there, which affected the noise, ambiance, hot-spot feeling, but I was there years ago and it was vibrant. They have a rather difficult menu to figure out, with the myriad cheese plates and wine flights, etc. The waiter did a very good job of explaining it to the 6 of us and telling us what sells best, etc. Not an easy job -- they have to be very knowledgeable about all offerings. He stopped by our table several times and introduced us to some of the most exquisite wines I've ever had. John, our server, was absolutely awesome! Every recommendation he made was on point and delicious. The heirloom pork chop is probably the best meat I've had at a restaurant in a long time. The Maple Pots De Creme dessert was so good I was mad that I decided to share one with my best friend--I definitely will get one all for myself the next time. I love how they have wine and cheese flights so you can try a variety of both. The menu also makes it easy for you to pair the right wine with the cheese or plate that you get.
