Diner Reviews
  • "Even if you only sipped the unlimited French Champagne (no cheap stuff here) and soaked in the history and glam of days long gone, you will have made your trip to the Gables worth while. Add in live music, dozens of high end food stations loaded with crab, sushi, caviar, desserts, eggs benedict (you get the picture) and your day is lost in a food coma. They even included premium vodka Bloody Mary's in this $100.00 per person event....but very reasonable considering you may never eat or drink again."

  • "Sat in the outdoor courtyard for the Biltmore Sunday Brunch in Miami - apparently reservations are only available around 10 AM and 1 PM for these tables. Outdoor seating gets quite warm if there is no breeze. Although the variety of food is definitely varied (caviar & seafood station, breakfast station, carved meats, pasta, salad, dessert), the quality of the food was just okay. Seems that the quality of food at the Biltmore Brunch is meant to be satisfactory to the majority, the only food items that I found were above par in terms of tastiness were some of the chocolate desserts. Service was mediocre and not worth the automatic 18% tip, took a long time to get drink refills though surrounding tables received top ups multiple times"

  • "In comparison, its overly priced for what it is, particularly in adding an 18% "gratuity". The food is no better than places that charge half (or less) as much, the service certainly is not commensurate with the charged gratuity, the valet parking is slow to respond with the attendants ignoring you while they converse and then act annoyed because you want your car. A large percentage of the staff speaks no, or little, English. There is a distinct attitude of "let the customer wait until I'm ready to get to him/her. At the brunch, there are children running hither and yon with seemingly little control of parents."

  • "It's pricey, so only a special treat, but it's also spectacular. Alaskan king crab legs, lox, sushi, & caviar, along with the "normal" seafood fair of shrimp, scallops, oysters, and fish. Smoked meats, cheeses, pastries and fruit finish up half of the selection. On the other side of the courtyard are the cooked meats and entrees, plus the traditional breakfast bar of cooked to order eggs. Inside are the desserts where I feast upon the creme brûlée and the Nutella crepes. But before the eating starts, they pour you the finest mimosa you've ever had (with pulp, FYI), or perhaps a peach or mango Bellini is more to your liking. Two hours later, you swear you'll never eat again, and yet, you can't wait to return next year."

  • "The ambience is perfect! On a charming patio, with a water fountain in the middle and green all over. The food was great as was the service!"

  • "We have been coming here for years. It is a gorgeous setting with wonderful food. The servers are efficient. They keep the champagne flowing. The food is always fresh and interesting. Our son in-law takes dessert first because he is afraid he will not have room for it later on! Rare place that can be both child friendly and romantic. Nice to watch the little girls in their party dresses as well as the well dressed adults."

  • "Great experience with such a variety of dishes, ranging from made-to-order omelets to spanish paella, pasta, seafood, sushi, muffins, and fantastic dessert. So much to choose from. The dishes were all great. If you did not find something you liked, you were not hungry. The ambience was also great, whether you chose to stay outside on the terrace or dined inside."

  • "I had read that this was a brunch not to be missed I will say the ambience is lovely and the variety If the food stations is excellent. However the flavor Of most if the food was fair and service poor We had to wait a while before we could get anything To drink or just get paid attention to. It seemed as if wait staff had their favorite customers. Other than the ambience, I think theSunday brunch At Rirz Carlton in coconut grove is much better!!"

  • "The selection for brunch is outstanding with lots of variety weather you want breakfast, lunch or a combination of the two. The food was all fresh and well prepared. It is expensive but the quality and selection justify the price."

  • "Brunch selection was great. The lobster and guacamole moose was a hit. Seafood quality was good - really appreciated the crab legs being pre-cut for us. Improvement needed on the salmon stuffed with crab - overcooked and when cold, it was very dry. dining As impressive as the food was, the quality of service from the wait-staff added to the overall positive experience."

  • "Sunday Brunch at the Biltmore is always an incredible experience, The food is always excellent, with the freshest seafood and tables always stacked with the best foods. The wait staff is in constant motion, ensuring that our classes are always fun of our favorite drinks, and clearing plates so that we can move on to our next plate. The only hiccup in brunch was the omelet station who despite having no line still took almost 10 mins to make an omelet. The dessert options are incredible from the chocolate fountain and dipping pool to the almost unlimited supply or sweets and different deserts, it doesn't matter how many plates of food you eat, you have to step into the dessert room. (that right dessert is located in a room all its own)"

  • "A few years ago I enjoyed the Sunday Brunch very much. The food was excellent and the music was exciting. Four of us returned this Sunday and the setting at the patio was the best part of the brunch. The food was very common, nothing out of the ordinary; especially for the price. I don't feel it was worth the cost, and would never return. For near the same price, The Breakers in Palm Beach is much, much better; beautiful room, nice live music and the food selection much, much better. One can only eat so much at a buffett and therefore like some nicely prepared items. This didn't happen here on this visit. A lot of money spent, not much pleasure received."

  • "I have been coming to the Biltmore brunch off and on since 1990 and the service is not so good anymore since they started automatically adding the gratuity."

  • "As usual, this is one of the finest brunches anywhere. There's almost nothing you can't find on the various tables and stations. It is all first rate quality and cooked perfectly. It's expensive but so worth it."

  • "Absolute perfection from start to finish. Amazing choice of top quality food to satisfy any palate - with unlimited champagne, my glass was never empty and the re-fills were unobtrusive. Good music and the man who made fabulous animals with balloons - wasn't just taking care of the kids. Beautiful setting and wonderful service - what else is there? On my 'Have To Do' list the next time I am in Miami. How do they do this for the price - worth much more?"

  • "The food at the Biltmore Christmas Day brunch was outstanding, as always. They had an amazing variety of options and a truly spectacular dessert selection. The service was very slow however. I had to wait 25 minutes for my bill. The other negative comment is that the rest rooms, at least the ladies room, were not kept up. In a hotel of this caliber, you would expect otherwise, even on a day like Christmas. Overall, it was a pleasant experience."

  • "My children (21 & 23) and I took my husband to celebrate his Birthday last Sunday. At first I was a bit hesitant, because of the expense but in the end I am so happy we chose to take him to the Biltmore Brunch!! We had a nice outside table where the weather was just perfect. Each station we visited was better than the next and of course, we ended it with 2 trips pick out our Desserts inside. Marina gave us excellent service and kept my mimosa's coming ;) Excellent choice for a Special occasion!"

  • "The brunch at the Biltmore is second to none. The selection is unparalleled and they keep everything re-stocked and fresh at all times. I can only imagine how many people it takes to upkeep that spread. Having the Champagne be a variety of notable actual french bubbly was a welcomed treat, as opposed to inexpensive California sparkling whites or mass produced prosecco's."

  • "For you brunch aficionados out there who aren't afraid to drop a Benji for breakfast, the Biltmore brunch is a must. Sure, you'd save money going to Arby's, but do they have a spectacular courtyard, all-you-can eat succulent dishes. endless champagne and a guitar virtuoso strumming away in the corner? Not the last time I went. Unless you're living off trust fund money, better to reserve this experience for special occasions. That said, nearly all of the food was delicious and the atmosphere relaxed and unhurried. My only major criticism ambience-wise would be the somewhat overly family friendly nature of the place, though that may be a plus for others. Bring an appetite and designated driver."
