Bill's Food & DrinkGood place for a businessGood place for a business lunch. Nice and quiet for conversation. Good food as well.5/22/2013 12:00:00 AMTestosterone place for lunch! The food was great, and so was the service - 90% men - not a big deal but definitely on the Old School Chum ambience with a fancy pub-style menu. What is with the goat though?5/14/2013 12:00:00 AMGood timesThis was my second time at Bills, make sure to reserve in advance.
Staff is friendly, professional and helpful . They gave us time to chat and enjoy our time an we did not feel rushed.
Great ambiance and food was great, although portion was slightly smaller than expected, so we ordered extra French fries which hit the spot!5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMThis place was great! SexyThis place was great! Sexy people, delicious food. Total blast4/17/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was our second time atThis was our second time at Bills. We took my 93 year old father in law here for his birthday since he is also named Bill. They staff went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. The waiters, manager, and hosts all made us feel like the most important people in the restaurant. Despite mixed early reviews, I think the food is now among the best in NYC and the wine list is extensive with many reasonable priced options.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMReally pretty restaurant.Really pretty restaurant. Excellent service at front and waiter.4/9/2013 12:00:00 AMLOVED our post-theater dinner!!LOVED our post-theater dinner!! A most gracious wait staff and sommlier!! We sang and danced with much older people and tourist. Different but fun3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat MealI recently ate here on a business trip to NYC and was pleasantly surprised. I had the tuna crudo appetizer that was fresh and tasty. I followed that up with the lamb loin chop that was outstanding and cooked perfectly with a nice crust seared into the surface.
The other two people in my party shared the porterhouse for two and said it was excellent. There was certainly no issues with the portion sizes of each. We split a few sides that were all nicely prepared: Brussels sprouts, spinach and french fries.
For dessert we ordered the honey apple fritters and a pear tart. The fritters were out of this world, served warm in a cute littler fryer basket beside a delicious sauce. The tart, served chilled, was mediocre.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful eveingGreat atmosphere. Friendly staff. Superb food. A total win.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMExceeded expectations!Dined on a Friday at noon for lunch and was truly satisfied with the level of service and quality of food. The restaurant is split between the bottom floor bar and top floor dining area that makes you feel as though your dining in a nineteenth century townhouse. Originally a speakeasy, the restaurant takes a traditional steakhouse menu and styles it with delicious soups, salads, pastas and fish. This place impresses!3/15/2013 12:00:00 AM
