We made our reservation through the online feature on the website. This seems to cause some confusion when we arrived. We were seated at the spot that was shown on the online reservation but the the problem was that there was no server scheduled for the time we arrived. We did get a server assigned to us and she was wonderful and made up for the disconnect. The food is very good. We started with the lobster bisque which is worth coming back just for that. My husband had the Cedar Planked Salmon and I had the Big Shrimp trio. Both dishes were cooked perfectly. Big Fish is a good seafood option for those who want seafood but do not have have time to drive to the shore. The bar area is worth stopping by just for a drink.

The service was great and the meal was good. My blackened catfish with avocado and pico was terrific, as was the salad with apples, cherries and almonds; my husband's seafood combo was passable, soup was tasty.

The fall menu is really interesting. Some old favorites and some new. Acorn squash is a favorite and while the recent dish was underbaked, we're sure that in the future it will be wonderful. The stuffing is awesome. And the squash soup was excellent.

Enjoyed the pre-fixe early bird $17.50 (normal is $21), choice was good and food was good. Creme Bruele was awesome! Drinks were creative and good. The Spicy Cucumber was really good. Great place for a large group, very open and doesn't feel cramped. If in the Princeton University area, stop in, you wouldn't be disappointed.

We arrived on time and we were seated right away on Sunday evening. The waitress (Lizzy)served water and took our orders for drinks. They brought the basket of warm bread to the table along with the drinks. We ordered Chefs specials for all 3 and had an appetizer order of fried calamari which was excellent. My Tilapia was fresh and was topped with shrimps. My wife and the friend has salmon fish which were fresh and delicious in a lemon butter sauce. Cream Brûlée as desert was delicious. At the end the waitress brought an ice cream cup with a lighted candle for our friends birthday which was a nice touch. overall good service and delicious food at very reasonable prices which I highly recommend to anyone. This was our 2nd visit in last 2 yrs

My husband and I had dinner here recently; we were impressed by our waiter, who was both attentive and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, the food left a bit to be desired. Our oyster starter was just fine for the price, but our entreés were not as good as we expected fro the price. My husband's trio came out warm instead of hot, while my crab legs tasted as though they had been rewarmed after having been precooked. We expected more from this resturant, given it's reputation.

Blueberry/corn Salmon with sweet potato was excellent. Others in the party enjoyed the seafood jambalaya and broiled seafood platter. Our meat eater devoured the perfectly cooked strip steak. The lava cake and sharkfin cake were worthwhile indulgences, definitely sized for sharing. Waitress was attentive and helpful.

This used to be great and the food is still ok. Service was horrible this evening, and has been getting worse. That's probablyt why it was really empty at 8:30 pm on a Saturday night. Sat for 15 minutes with no service. Then a passing waiter offered to get us a drink while we waited for our server. He came back 10 mins later and was then our server. They didn't have the wine we selected. Earlier they ran out of the rum for the mojito. Then we had cold congealed lobster bisque on a very hot dish, it had obviously been sitting the whole 20 mins it took to get it. They finally microwaved it after 2 attempts to bring a warm one. Horrible. Parmesan shrimp was ok, nothing special, bad value for the price. Go to Bonefish instead.

Lovely evening dining outside..inside the noise level could present a challenge to hear whole conversations. The food quality is consistently good. The prices need to be reviewed by management. Competition down the road and competition coming to Marketfair will force this issue. A better value at the same quality will force decisions to be made. It must be noted, the service is great too. The food is great. It simply seems I'm more price aware with the options --- for great fish -- less than a mile away.

This place has turned into an average fish restaurant. Food was just fair; not much taste. service was fair due to a new hire. Manager tried to make it better but still very fair. Too bad. It used to be much better before the new chain bought it and cookie cut it to fair.

Food is good and will be prepared to your request. Large menu with something for everyone. Beautiful decor and enormous wall of windows that looks out to a nice view. Prices are reasonable. Bread is hot and freshly made and it is hard to not fill up on it before your meal comes. Have eaten there many times and tried a lot of the items on the menu. Every item tried was good. Love eating here.

I was very disappointed with the food. The lobster bisque soup was served barely lukewarm. The stuffed shrimp was dry, overcooked and tasteless. I ordered an add-on (additional charge) vegetable (cauliflower with a sauce.) It, too, was tasteless, even with the sauce. When I bit into one piece, I thought I had broken a tooth. Turns out it was two pieces of some thing hard (almost like a popcorn kernal that didn't pop.)I showed them to the server, he claims the chef indicated it was cheese that had hardend???. I had to ask the server twice for a glass of water, while the table next to me was asked by their server if they wanted lemon or lime in their water. (Mine had neither when I finally got it)

Some of the reviews did not speak highly of the food here...however, my fiance and I were pleasantly surprised about the quality and the presentation. We both ordered the broiled seafood platter and it was excellent! The crab cake was my favorite! It was presented over a tomato with a (hollandaise?) sauce....so yummy! I will say that it was a little on the pricey side and our drinks were def. a little pricey for being overflowing with ice. But it was a nice atmosphere and overall an enjoyable experience....good date night.

Haven't been there in ages after moving out of the area but I was pleasantly surprised at the menu choices and had a great tasting meal with a light atmosphere that wasn't super noisy and wasn't so quiet that we had to whisper either. Very nice time so I'll be back especially for the gluten free options. I left full and satisfied which says a lot about a good restaurant when you've got food allergies.
